This is supposed to be a morel mushroom and Swiss cheese and onion omelette

I went for breakfast to get their morel mushroom onion, and Swiss cheese omelette because it looked so good in their Facebook page. don't be fooled by the photos they put on their page because what you get will look nothing like what you see on that page.. I couldn't taste the mushroom whatsoever only Swiss cheese! I also only got about half the hashbrowns that they show in the picture. Also, what a waste of $16..

I'm pretty sure that I was straight up judged as a fatty by the Amish. Even though when I sat down and inquired about the salad bar. We arrived around 10:30 and I was specifically told that the bar would turn over to a soup and salad bar at 11. What she failed to mention at that point was that you're charged for both the $8.95 breakfast buffet and the $7.99 salad bar. So basically we only had 30 minutes to eat and finish up. It wasn't until after I sat back down with my small plate of breakfast that the waitress came over and mentioned that if I wanted a salad after 11, then it would be the additional cost. I get it, at some point they probably experienced people coming in and setting up shop and staying for hours to consume two bottomless meals for one price, but that was obviously not the case here. Not only that, I felt mislead into getting the breakfast buffet knowing that what I wanted was a salad. Again, I get it and would've just sucked it up and finished up by 11, but the items that remained on the breakfast buffet were cold and dry. The biscuits were obviously premade and not even reheated. Although they were tasty, the potatoes and bacon were cold. They obviously weren't bothered with freshening the offerings because there were only a few occupied tables, and the others were obviously finishing up. Again, I get it, why add new stuff when they're closing the breakfast options in 30 minutes? I promise I would've been understanding of the that... In the end, Dad ended up speaking with the manager lady, explaining the facts of the matter. I rarely give one star, but this was literally the worst and only bad experience that I've ever had in Amish country.

Nice friendly staff. Average on food. Order from menu Monday thru Thursday. Buffet not until Friday. Very comfortable dining room. Great for groups.

Visiting Nappanee from Texas to get RV warranty work completed. Fellow RV-er mentioned this restaurant great for breakfast and he was correct! Ordered two egg, meat and toast special, and added hash browns. Ordered bacon crispy and hash browns extra brown and all was SUPER and served hot. Waitress was very pleasant, personable and attentive as well. Very pleased!

Great food. Large portions. Friendly service. Odd location. (In the industrial area up by Newmar factory.)

Awesome homemade food. I recommend this restaurant. We had the buffet with fish and chicken as the meats. Always hot and fresh.

I am told (by Amish) that the food is close to what is served at an Amish wedding.

The photos looked incredible, and the stellar reviews confirmed it wasn't just good lighting. I was sold--even if Waze had other ideas! After my GPS took me on a scenic tour of South Bend, I almost gave up. I called the restaurant, and the staff graciously guided me in. From the outside, the brick building looks like a standard office, but once you step inside, you realize you've stumbled upon a total hidden gem. It feels like a beautiful secret. Upon entering, the entire staff welcomed me so warmly that I felt like I was catching up with old friends. I walked past the elegant bar and chose a seat in the dining room. The ambiance is romantic, relaxing, beautifully decorated, and quaint--yet completely comfortable if you are dining alone. I opted for the tasting menu, which is served as a total surprise. For a true foodie, this is pure heaven. I didn't dislike a single dish. In fact, each plate brought so much joy that I caught myself closing my eyes just to savor the flavors and the atmosphere. As I told the staff on my way out: "The food was so good, it makes you want to cry!" (Happy tears, of course!). If you're a local who hasn't been, GO. If you're traveling for work, GO. If you have a special occasion, GO. Life is short--take the road trip to South Bend just for Roselily. The menu changes so I'll be back every chance I get! My only actual complaint? The owner wasn't there for me to beg him to open a second location in Lexington, KY!

We did the six-course chef's tasting with wine pairings and every single course delivered. The food was creative, beautifully presented, and incredibly well-balanced, and the wine pairings elevated everything even further. You can tell there is real thought and precision behind every detail--from the menu to the pacing of the meal. And the ambiance was a total vibe! But what truly made the experience stand out was the service. The team struck that rare balance of being both highly professional and genuinely warm. Nothing felt scripted. It felt personal. When they learned we were close to graduating from our MBA program, they surprised us with a menu signed by the entire staff, filled with handwritten notes of encouragement. One simply said, "Follow your dreams." That moment will stick with me forever: core memory unlocked. This is the kind of detail you do not forget. This is not just a great restaurant--it is a full experience. I would absolutely put Roselily at Michelin-star level. If you appreciate thoughtful, elevated dining with exceptional service, this place is worth going out of your way for. We will be back for sure!

Sorry but the girls serving tables are a bit clueless or should I say unaware? No service until we waved someone down. And when I sent back a dirty cup I heard them say it was just a stain. Now the place looks clean, cool and a great little spot, and the one saving grace was the girl behind the bar that acted like the manager who came up to ask about service when she noticed we were less than thrilled, that's why the 2 stars. Somehow spent $45 on sub par pancakes and country fried steak with sausage gravy?? Server didn't even look at us for 20 minutes and they weren't what you would call "busy". My pancakes were served on a square plate so everything went everywhere once you put syrup on them so I was sticky the entire time with minimal effort. Food wasn't what you would call awesome unless you don't know how to cook and don't know what food is supposed to taste like. Probably won't attend again.
