Unfortunately the pictures online are deceiving. Home is not in the greatest condition as…read morepictured. There were large and small cockroaches found in every room. Kitchen was dirty, food left over from previous renters. Chairs to the dinning room were so nasty and stained. It appeared like no one bothered to clean prior to our arrival. Coffee, creamer and sugar were to be provided yet the creamer was old and hard as a rock. TV's in a couple of bedrooms didn't work and remotes had no batteries. I actually had to buy some in order to put in and be able to program the TV. No response to e-mails sent about the condition of the home. There was a leak apparently since before we arrived that was not fixed. When we reported it, they proceeded to shut our water off and after we advised them we needed water, we were asked, through text message, to only use it to shower and shut it off again. The following day the repairman came early morning wanting to shut it off and asked us to collect water in buckets if we needed water. Over $3500 paid for 2 days to stay in this home, yet we couldn't use water, we needed to use it out of a bucket. No contact from Property Manager or owner. No apology, no offer to reduce the cost. Nothing. Definitely will not be staying here again and would advise anyone wanting to rent to look elsewhere.

We spent the weekend at this Bed and Breakfast! They went out of their way to accommodate our late…read morenight check in, last minute reservation and poor B&B etiquette! The owners were so sweet and gracious! We spent the first night in the downstairs master. The bed was huge and comfy! I was thrilled to see that the ac in the house was powered by window ac units! I could die, I love love love Window units! I always sleep so well in rooms that have them. The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. On our second night we moved to a room upstairs, this room was considerably smaller but still really comfortable and nice. We had a great nights sleep, and we awoke to a amazing breakfast! They served us coffee, juice, a beautiful fruit bowl and eggs Benedict. Now, y'all know I am picky about my eggs! These eggs were poached to perfection. Breakfast service was elegant and a feast for our taste buds. One of the owners gave us a detailed history of the area and of the house while we ate our beautiful breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angel Rose , we will visit again soon. As of now, they are making plans to continue the restoration and to make several upgrades. They are in talks to add an elevator, two extra suites and a sunroom. Upon arrival we asked about any ghost or haunting stories, the owner informed us they may or may not have a friendly ghost! I am happy to report that not only did we not see any ghost, but we also did not experience any paranormal activity! Enjoy your stay and enjoy the surrounding amenities in Rockport!

This is our third trip here and I can tell you for sure it's my family's favorite beach vacation spot. The beach is lovely but this place is just magical. Everything feels like VIP from the ultra soft towels, fancy shampoos, luxurious linens, a giant king bed downstairs, and the owner has thought of everything you might could need from beach towels and toys, there was even seasonings and olive oil for me to grill with yesterday, a clothes line for hanging towels and suits, bikes, games, books for the kids in the loft, everything we never have to say man I wish I had...she thought of it! It's not a 5 star resort, but the owners are super sweet and the price is great when you are already spending a good penny on a vacation. It's basically a cement building with tile floors. The a/c is awesome and the kitchen though it's small is perfect for saving money from eating out. The tile floor is convenient with all the sand you track in. It's a walk to the beach and centrally located on the island. My family and I will most definitely be staying with them again in the future!

We have been coming to Port A for many years. Our favorite village was booked so I found this…read moreplace. It has 8 villas to choose from and can fit 6-8 guest comfortably. We booked Villa 5"Coral Reef." Booking is easy and done quickly online. I am attaching pics of my room, entrance, pool and layout of the place. You are able to access your room with a special access code. No key needed! This came in handy since we arrived very late at night. Huge living area with tv (cable and Hulu). Full sofa bed and love seat. Nice kitchen area including everything you need: dishwasher, oven, fridge, and pretty much all you need in a kitchen (blender, pots, pans and toaster, coffee maker). Love the bathroom. Large with wonderful toilet that flushes nicely and great shower. There was a dead medium sized roach hiding (but it was dead!) Bedroom had one king and one king sized bed. Another nice flat screen tv. Huge closet and dressers (didn't use them). Beds were comfy, clean, sheets smelled fresh, extra pillows and linens in the closet. You controlled AC. You are not right next door to someone so the place is quiet and only 8 villas sharing one pool versus one hotel sharing one pool. The place is dog friendly as long as they aren't puppies. We brought our small dogs with us. There is NO grass for animals to do their business. So you have to walk them out in the street (pass the entrance because they have green grass turf) until you see real grass. We paid summer weekend rate $275 a night but considering the cleanliness, location and quietness of the area, I think it was worth it. The pool is very nice. Looked like everything in our place was newly decorated and modern. Floors were a little dirty but honestly it is hard to keep beach places sand free. They had an on sight laundry room too. No direct beach access but we like to haul all our crap to the beach and need our vehicle. A few minutes from all restaurants and shops. Check in 3pm and 11am check out. Wifi was a little hit and miss at times. And that is all I have to say about that.

In fact, we have just booked another short trip in August. The condo is very well maintained, clean and comfortable and just a few minutes walk across the boardwalk to the beach. It is also just a short drive to all our favorite restaurants. Melissa is always most welcoming and helpful. This has become our "go to" place in Port Aransas and we look forward to our next trip.

The pix don't do it justice but it's well worth the $.. and even that's very reasonable! There is a great pool jist steps from your entrance door, and w this unit being a top corner unit, your back patio is perfect for night time or early mornin chillin. You can see the ocean from the patio, and you can hear it with the door open. There is a designated walk way, which on foot takes less than minutes to walk! It's very clean and well stocked. I love this condo!
