We had everything we needed for a fun filled and friendly stay. The proprietors were attentive and prompt with requests, even giving us recommendations on safe and delicious restaurants in town. Oh, and if you want a tour of the bays, the proprietors will take you on their large pontoon boat! Can't wait to go back for some actual fishing!

To start, driving up to the parking lot, I was confused, I thought I was driving up to an abandon building. The landscaping was inexistent, grass was tall and overgrown, the outside of the building's walls were full of mildew and rust, there was a rusty broken light pole laying in the parking lot, then I saw where it came from and there were exposed wires hanging out. I tried to look past it and figured it would get better. Well upon checking in I was charged $20 per day for a total of $40 for incidentals on top of the amount due. Nowhere on the website did it state this. I can understand maybe $10 a day but $20. Then when we got into our room, it smelled musty, there was hairs on the bed, the comforter had like a blood stain on it, lightbulb missing from one of the lamps, the room just didn't feel clean. For my kids sake, I didn't say anything. That evening we went to the pool for a while, that was another health hazard. Pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while, the chair used to help disabled people in the pool was broken with exposed circuits on the controls, some sort of pipe sticking out of the ground with wires hanging out of it by the pool, the picnic area was trashy and weeds growing everywhere. When we tried to go back inside, our card key did not work to get back in either of the two doors. We had to knock and get the desk clerks attention to let us in. Then he tells us, oh yes the doors do not work. So that was day one, on the second day we went for the hot breakfast which was mediocre at best. Coffee was cold, juices were warm, food was meh. When returning to our room our key did not work to get back in. I had to go twice to the desk to get the keys reactivated. Last but not least, the ice machines on the first floor are not working, the stair wells and hallways are very dirty. Now for the icing on the cake, at check out I was charged another $40 instead of giving me my original $40 I was charged for incidentals.

We…read morewalked into the room and it smelled so musty and dirty. , we looked a round a bit since we had just for in and wanted to go eat before we went fishing. Had we looked a little better that might we would have caught the dry vomit on the wall by the toilet , on the floor by the toilet and inside the trash can. The presence of all these mini trash bins outside of the doors filled with used cigarettes is disgusting. The bed was even worse, so hard and smell like eat dog. We didn't make a fuss about anything we isn't want to have anyone long anything to us since we had to be there a few more days. Just stay away from this place is so dirty, super disappointing
