So glad we did and the manager Stacey was so kind and gave us a very pleasant room so we ended up staying 3nights. The pool was lovely and the place was so quiet. The staff was very helpful to include Angie and the gentleman who was a jack of all trades who helped us with the internet. We will stay again.

And it wasn't just us, at the pool other guests were actually overheard talking about how nasty and unstable she was when asked for basic information. Even if a guest interrupted her chain smoking and socializing with the men outside, you'd think she would have self control to not THROW her cigarette at the office door in a way a toddler would throw their toys during a tantrum. Brought up an issue we had the previous night with so much dust and dirt in the room that it was causing a health risk to the occupants and was met with a very rehearsed and and aggressive response "that she inspected the room herself after the best maid they had turned it over" before we checked in. Why would I lie? I have nothing to gain. Screw me right, for asking for the bare minimum. Nevermind the fact that they put us in a room with STAIRS to get to the room, for someone that usually needs a wheelchair. Keep in mind I called like over a month in advance to explain that we were with a disabled senior and needed a ground level room which we were assured of. I was however offered a room on the 2nd floor (because that totally makes sense for a disabled person) that we would then have to pay again for because her personal idea of clean is dust caked walls, tables, lamps and everything else. dishes in the cabinets with caked on food, live bugs in the bed, and dirty hair covered sinks. Honestly I'm not even upset with the maid. if anything the woman at the desk with the shoulder length black box dyed hair, glasses, Monroe piercing (or mole idk) chain smoking with a chip on her shoulder is probably hindering their work with her personal idea of clean. Gross room even grosser staff. Emailed manager for a partial refund. Of course no response. Long story short: total health hazard, not accommodating to disabled, and also get charged a cleaning fee of $34.15 for no maid service and upon check out are told to empty the rooms trash in the properties dumpster yourself as the guest.. get real. Our full trash can upon checkout is clearly up to her personal standards so she can deal with it.

We had a bed with thin worn blanket, tv, mini fridge, microwave I wouldn't use, and a coffee pot. Floors dirty, grout has ground in dirt, tiny tube of bath wash, lotion, and small bar of soap. Prob clean but stained towels and sheets. Light switches broken, hole in ceiling, rusted old worn metal night stands and a small rusted table. Dark, bent/broken blinds, view of the parking lot if you can see out of it. The ac was freezing cold which was good, but loud as a semi. Absolutely unassuming place w only 16 units in a small U-shape, surrounded by partial fence with overgrown weeds. If all you need is a bed & shower, it's your spot, and you don't care much about either, it's adequate. Wouldn't bring kids or family. It's worth about $40-50/night and don't have any expectations. It is close to marina & bait shops if you just need a home base with AC while fishing all day.

The photos on the website do not look like the hotel. There was a hole in the wall with a napkin in it. I changed our trash bag and the bag left my hands black, possibly from dust. We heard scratching in the walls and ceiling at night/ early morning. There was stains on the shower curtain and on a towel. Everything was pretty rusted as well. So if you're thinking of staying here I highly recommend reading reviews and if you're okay with a place being/ feeling dirty then go for it. If you want to spend a little extra, or maybe even the same amount, definitely stay at another place.

It's not a 5 star resort, but the owners are super sweet and the price is great when you are already spending a good penny on a vacation. It's basically a cement building with tile floors. The a/c is awesome and the kitchen though it's small is perfect for saving money from eating out. The tile floor is convenient with all the sand you track in. It's a walk to the beach and centrally located on the island. My family and I will most definitely be staying with them again in the future!

They have trash cans by the stair case that smells terrible with roaches and flies and we have to pass it every time we go into our room. We booked this condo expecting a relaxing beach vacation. Instead, it felt like every day came with a new surprise--and not the good kind. Let's start with the condition of the unit. The walls were literally falling apart, and the bathroom had water leaking through the shower wall from the unit above us. When we reported it, we were told they couldn't do anything because the unit upstairs wasn't managed by them. While I understand that may be true, it doesn't change the fact that we paid for a room with water leaking into the bathroom. The bathroom light also had a mind of its own. Every time you flipped the switch, it took a couple of minutes to turn on, like it was still asleep and needed its morning coffee before deciding to work. The TV wasn't much better. The remote wouldn't change the channels, so if we wanted to watch something, we had to get up every single time and manually change the channel on the cable box. After putting up with all of these issues, we were finally told we could move to another unit--but only on the last night of our 4-night stay. Even then, the replacement unit wasn't ready until around 5:00 p.m., so we spent most of the day waiting. Then we had to pack up every single one of our belongings and move everything ourselves... just to sleep there for one night before checking out the next morning. To make things even worse, the replacement unit didn't even have the pull-out couch that our original unit had. It was just a regular couch, even though we booked a unit that was supposed to accommodate six people. We also spent most of our vacation using only one bathroom, despite paying for a two-bathroom unit. After all of that, no refund, no partial refund, no discount, and no real compensation was offered. Chairs are full of rust (nothing like the pictures from Vrbo and staff at Laguna Reef) patio table was very dirty and rusty. The frame from sliding door was also rusty and kind of hard to pull, very dirty. The furniture from the living room are in poor poor condition. Coffee table was wobbly..it felt like it was going to fall apart. The Tv is mounted crooked (necks were hurting) the small table on the wall is also slanted not straight. Drinks were uneven..had to be very careful to not spill anything. The couch is filthy underneath, full of dust and dirt, rug is also dirty. Not good for anyone with allergies. Linen smelled like they have been dirty for a while. I had to buy a blanket and meds for allergies. Not very friendly from staff or locals. My husband and I took a walk on the pier (no rails) very dangerous for little ones. A person from the office walked all the way down to the pier to make sure we were guests. He asked if we were guests and for our room number. Hopefully it wasn't because of our skin color. I definitely will NOT go back. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the layout just works with lots of people. The private pool is beautiful too, clean, with a wall fountain and tanning ledge.
