Everything was old and cheaply made. Dollar store soaps and sponges, only two rolls of toilet paper. My son's bed was apparently broken and we were charged for it, when all the furniture needs replacing to be honest. I didn't lay on the bed so I think it likely could have been broken before we got there and we were any easy way to replace it. My husband I are very disappointed with the stay here. I guess I need to check all beds before and after I stay places, as we have never had this problem and travel often. I will definitely encourage all friends and family to not stay here moving forward. Save yourself the hassle and ROACHES and go elsewhere!

The hotel advertises that it serves breakfast, but don't be fooled. This is not a continental breakfast by any stretch. For a group of four, we were given a total of six possible items to choose from--including drinks. The "menu" consisted of a croissant, a muffin, a breakfast bar, juice, or water. That's it. One person would have to choose between having a drink or a very lackluster snack--not both. The pool is listed as an amenity, yet it was completely shut down and coated in green algae. When we arrived at our room, we noticed a row of random office-style chairs lined up outside in the main walkway, directly beneath a "No Smoking" sign. Below them sat three ashtray cups. Nearby was a man wearing an oversized black shirt, oversized shorts, sunglasses, and a crossbody fanny pack. He stared at us in a way that felt uncomfortable and unsafe. He wandered around the property, and we eventually realized he worked there. His appearance and suspicious behavior did not resemble hotel staff in any professional sense, and the overall vibe was unsettling. Opening the door to our room was the final straw. The overwhelming smell of mold, mildew, and cigarettes hit us instantly--so strong we could barely breathe. Nothing in the reviews or advertisements prepared us for this. Even the shower was coated in dark grime, clearly not cleaned or disinfected for quite some time. The sheets were dirty, walls were dirty, sink was dirty. Just so unsanitary. It made my skin crawl and you can't even breathe the air in the room. When we stepped back outside, the front desk attendant was right there, chain-smoking one cigarette after another. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place is nothing like what it claims to be. I don't understand how this place has such great reviews. This is the biggest catfish I've ever experienced. Someone must be buying people off.

It has a nice little pool area with a high fence around it for privacy from the nearby rooms. We heard that there were going to be complimentary breakfast goodies when we booked the room, but never received it/ were unsure how to make it happen. We checked in late so maybe we missed the opportunity to order it.

They have trash cans by the stair case that smells terrible with roaches and flies and we have to pass it every time we go into our room. We booked this condo expecting a relaxing beach vacation. Instead, it felt like every day came with a new surprise--and not the good kind. Let's start with the condition of the unit. The walls were literally falling apart, and the bathroom had water leaking through the shower wall from the unit above us. When we reported it, we were told they couldn't do anything because the unit upstairs wasn't managed by them. While I understand that may be true, it doesn't change the fact that we paid for a room with water leaking into the bathroom. The bathroom light also had a mind of its own. Every time you flipped the switch, it took a couple of minutes to turn on, like it was still asleep and needed its morning coffee before deciding to work. The TV wasn't much better. The remote wouldn't change the channels, so if we wanted to watch something, we had to get up every single time and manually change the channel on the cable box. After putting up with all of these issues, we were finally told we could move to another unit--but only on the last night of our 4-night stay. Even then, the replacement unit wasn't ready until around 5:00 p.m., so we spent most of the day waiting. Then we had to pack up every single one of our belongings and move everything ourselves... just to sleep there for one night before checking out the next morning. To make things even worse, the replacement unit didn't even have the pull-out couch that our original unit had. It was just a regular couch, even though we booked a unit that was supposed to accommodate six people. We also spent most of our vacation using only one bathroom, despite paying for a two-bathroom unit. After all of that, no refund, no partial refund, no discount, and no real compensation was offered. Chairs are full of rust (nothing like the pictures from Vrbo and staff at Laguna Reef) patio table was very dirty and rusty. The frame from sliding door was also rusty and kind of hard to pull, very dirty. The furniture from the living room are in poor poor condition. Coffee table was wobbly..it felt like it was going to fall apart. The Tv is mounted crooked (necks were hurting) the small table on the wall is also slanted not straight. Drinks were uneven..had to be very careful to not spill anything. The couch is filthy underneath, full of dust and dirt, rug is also dirty. Not good for anyone with allergies. Linen smelled like they have been dirty for a while. I had to buy a blanket and meds for allergies. Not very friendly from staff or locals. My husband and I took a walk on the pier (no rails) very dangerous for little ones. A person from the office walked all the way down to the pier to make sure we were guests. He asked if we were guests and for our room number. Hopefully it wasn't because of our skin color. I definitely will NOT go back. The ac was a known issue , but nobody ever went to check if the ac had been repaired. They then sent us to another house. This house had dead roaches on the floor and live roaches in the cabinets . The weekend was a bust , due lack of management . The house I rented originally was on the water with a pier. Grandson was excited to walk out the back patio and fish all night. Total disappointment. All I received was "I'm Sorry" . I don't want to mention the houses and ruin future rentals for the owners but I would definitely find a different management company . DO BETTER MISS KITTY

I loved being in the back of the community - it was so quiet but so close to the pool, the bay and we were able to walk to dinner every night. The other owners are a delight. It's a really friendly community. The beds are super comfortable and the environment is very zen. There's a fireplace that you can use to heat or just use it for ambiance. You can't go wrong renting this unit. Highly recommend.

It's a well established resort with large shade oaks throughout, roomy concrete rv pads, cottages, a motel, an activity hall, laundry, and showers. Everything is clean and the park is well maintained. Utilitities were reliable, cable TV was provided, and water pressure was good. Many of the rv pads have a patio extension and it looked like there were picnic tables at every pad and in front of every cottage.The cottages, judging by the one we stayed in, are roomy and well equipped with necesssities including a pod coffee maker, kitchen ware, TV, and robust air conditioner to keep you cool in the heat. There is no pool or playground, making this park more suitable for adults only, however, there is a shady fenced dog park those with furry companions. The activity hall has a large selection of books and cds, a TV, folding tables and chairs to support a variety of activities, and a well appointed card table. Best of all, BTB has a wonderful staff who are intent on making your stay as pleasant as possible. After staying a couple of months, we felt like we were leaving behind old friends when we moved on, and we wish them well.
