This time around my sister and brother in law and thier kids also came along for the first time. Becky the property manager greeted us as we arrived at our 4pm check-in. She explained everything in detail and walked us through the cabin and made us feel very welcomed. The unique one story cabins are arranged in a horseshoe configuration and are named according to their theme, and in the middle a beautiful courtyard is shared with gueats. We actually stayed in their latest newly remodeled two story cabin called The Marlin. It's located right next to the main property. At night it's very safely lit and your vechicals are parked under the structure. It sleeps 10 with two full baths and all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. It has a second story large balcony and a small third story balcony as well. Access to the beach is at walking distance or a short drive. After hurricane Harvey the cabins sustained damage and there was even a waterline marker when the storm surge came in. After alot of hard work and tireless vollenteers the newly remodeled cabins are better than ever. Becky was even kind enough to show us inside The Rock and Roll cabin and the remarkable improvements they made. The Dancing Dunes is highly recommend which ever cabin you stay in. The cleaning person arrived the following day, spoke zero English, stunk like cigarettes and had two small children accompanying her, it was very awkward. She took almost three hours to get the place cleaned and ready and she still forgot to give us any clean towels. The washer was broken, the dryer was full of water. The ac would not get cooler than 76. The pool was cloudy and jets were not working. The bbq grill was busted. The place did not even look the same as the listing, the pics online are very dated, even the garbage disposal was out of order....My complaints to the house keeping manager went unanswered. When a manager finally called us we had already been there three days with no clean towels. She was also extremely rude and told us things like these things happen during busy periods, Wow! No refunds offered at all, they ruined more than half of our stay. Will never be using Miss kittys or vtrips again!!!

That's not such a big deal but no coffee maker in the cabin and in all the years in the past: the security-cleaning deposit was given back into your account. Was informed today( after I had to call) that that was now included in your stay. That should have been made clear up front upon booking. We make it a diligent habit of thoroughly cleaning our cabin before we leave. Between no coffee maker and the other little perks, we were short changed in our stay this year. I have always taken your business cards and also word of mouth to promote this resort but I now have to think twice. Just not the same as before.

The cabins are very nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They've made some updates recently. They have codes instead of keys to get into the cabins. This came in handy since we sometimes split up into different groups. We don't have to find the person with the key. We look forward to coming back next year for more fun.

We spent the weekend at this Bed and Breakfast! They went out of their way to accommodate our late…read morenight check in, last minute reservation and poor B&B etiquette! The owners were so sweet and gracious! We spent the first night in the downstairs master. The bed was huge and comfy! I was thrilled to see that the ac in the house was powered by window ac units! I could die, I love love love Window units! I always sleep so well in rooms that have them. The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. On our second night we moved to a room upstairs, this room was considerably smaller but still really comfortable and nice. We had a great nights sleep, and we awoke to a amazing breakfast! They served us coffee, juice, a beautiful fruit bowl and eggs Benedict. Now, y'all know I am picky about my eggs! These eggs were poached to perfection. Breakfast service was elegant and a feast for our taste buds. One of the owners gave us a detailed history of the area and of the house while we ate our beautiful breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angel Rose , we will visit again soon. As of now, they are making plans to continue the restoration and to make several upgrades. They are in talks to add an elevator, two extra suites and a sunroom. Upon arrival we asked about any ghost or haunting stories, the owner informed us they may or may not have a friendly ghost!
