And a light shone down from the heavens, and illuminated the Boar's Head cracked peppermill turkey, which is undoubtedly the finest sliced turkey in all the land...except you can't find it within a hundred miles of here. That alone would have me coming back on a regular basis, but NACs also has the rest of the Boar's head selection (salami, hams, cheeses, etc.), and also salads (the mayo-based variety), condiments, bacon, horseradish, as well as tons of other meat (as you may expect from a meat market). They've got lots of sausage, ground beef (in patties, spiked with seasonings, or otherwise), a good selection of chicken in large and small packs, dark and light meat, pork butts and ribs for smoking, as well as steaks and chops. Just a warning: They may not have specialty cuts, as this is not a huge shop, and this is a small town. They didn't have skirt steak (which is what I was hoping for) because they don't sell enough of it, which is understandable. But if you want a steak, they do have NY strips when they aren't sold out, flank steak, rounds, and more. That aside, the folks behind the counter are super nice, and Grandma's Mac Salad is a must. There's way more mayo than I'd have the courage to put in at home, and it's goddamn delicious. My wife and I basically ate a pound of it before we even got home. Get some.

There are current NFL schedules taped on the glass counter for the Giants, Jets, and Bills. However, there are outdated The X-Factor/Pepsi promos in the store and depicts two ex-judges (Paula & Nicole) from the first season. Al's Pizzeria sells round and sheet pizzas, pizza slices, subs, cold salads, dinners, and homemade bread loaves at fair prices. In the cooler, bottled Pepsi products, cold beers, and milk are offered too. I ordered a 12 cut Sausage Sheet Pizza, which was ready in about 30 minutes as promised. I used an Entertainment coupon and the pizza was just under $8 with tax. The rectangular thin crust pizza had a light airy, but firm crust with thick crisp edges, ideal for breaking off into breadsticks. The pizza had a good amount of thick tomato sauce, sprinkled with not too much mozzarella cheese and chunks of spicy ground Italian sausage. I enjoyed this good family style sausage pizza over several days for snacks and lunches. I would probably return here again if I wanted inexpensive slices of pizza, but I'm crossing my fingers with a small glimmer of hope that the pizza shop may be fully renovated on a future visit. As a previous reviewer noted several years ago, the shop was under construction then and it's still under construction today. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

You may walk in here thinking you won't find what you want....but i think you just gotta know where to find it. I keep talking about the bargains I'm getting out here in Upstate New York. Shit may be cheap....but to be fair...its still upstate New York...I'll hang onto the SF prices a bit longer.
