Web search found a great deal at Fumfie for the exact one I wanted - saving $200 off next closest price. I ordered in the first half of Dec 2012 with the 3-5 day rush. I knew it was a crap-shoot for Christmas but was OK if it was close. Next thing I noticed was multiple e-mails with the same message other reviewers have seen: "Thank you for shopping with us. We tried calling you on the phone number you provided but were unable to reach you. To ensure your order ships in a timely manner please contact Jack Greene at 1-866-666-9198 Ext: 311. We thank you in advance for cooperating with us in an effort to provide more efficient and accurate service. We look forward to speaking with you soon." I called multiple times over multiple days...Jack is ALWAYS on the phone and I had to leave many messages. I finally got someone else, but "the computers were down and we can't service your order until the come up." They promised to call back "in 30 minutes" but nothing. Right when I was about to cancel my order I finally got a hold of Jack Greene only to find out they have been holding my order until they could try to up-sell me!!??!! Really, you sat on my order for 10 days so you could try to sell me a crappy HDMI cable and an extended warranty!!??!! How long were you willing to wait...springtime? After talking to Jack, they sat on the order for a FEW MORE DAYS, and I finally got an e-mail with my tracking number. They must have shipped it via UPS ground because it took another 10 days to get delivered. It finally arrived Jan 3rd. Unpacked and set up the unit. Much to my relief it works great and love the features. The service of FUMFIE has A LOT of room for improvement. DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY. They have no sense of timely service. I ordered a camera on Thanksgiving Day. Great price! I did a search and www.fumfie.com came up with the lowest priced camera. I went to the website and it looked ok....NOT. As of toay, Wednesday, Nov 28, 2012 I still do NOT have a tracking number. Firstly, they called me 2 days ago and left me a message that "there was a problem with my order." When I returned the call later that evening, the CSR said there was no problem with me order. Secondly, when I called again today, Nov 28, I was sent an email saying: Thank you for shopping with us. I ordered a refrigerator through their website, found on Google Shopping. They were the cheapest by far. They charged me as soon as the order was placed on 9/10, and as of 11/5, I still haven't gotten the thing! I have repeatedly asked for updates from them to let me know when I would be getting it. They gave me several dates when I called them, saying "No later than this Friday" or "It will ship next Monday". It has never come. On 10/28, I called to cancel the order, and the cowards wouldn't answer the phone, call me back, or return my emails or voice-mails. Like all the previous posts, this company scams people out of their money. I didn't buy my camera here, but I bought a five-year extended warranty through them. I had to use the warranty July 2013, and it took nearly seven weeks for them to complete the repair. During the "repair" period, I had to be the one to make contact, as no updates were provided, and I was never told what repair work was done on the camera when it was returned to me. Now 12 months later my camera breaks again and needs repair involving the exact same issue. Guess what Fumfie has to say about my request for warranty repair? When a company advertises and sells a five-year warranty, not one-time warranty in five years, and the end-consumer never receives the warranty terms spelled out clearly. Then it typically assumes that you're paying for extended warranty coverage for a five year period following the date of purchase, regardless of the number of warranty repairs during that period. Customer service leaves much to be desired. I ordered a Canon BG-E14 Battery Grip for my wife's birthday present, two weeks before her birthday--for most competitive companies who do business online, two weeks is more than enough time for products to be shipped and delivered. After ordering the product and the charge posting to my credit card, I immediately received a receipt via email, which informed me that I would be notified once the packaged shipped. A week later, I had not received the shipment notice, so I emailed the company. Fumfie responded within a couple of days apologizing for the delay and reiterated that the shipment was being processed and that I would receive a notification once it shipped. A few days after I received this email, I still had not received a shipment notification, so I called customer service and was rerouted several times, only to be left waiting in a call queue for half an hour. After reading through reviews (check it out for yourself--just Google Fumfie scam) and discovering that many others experienced the same issues, I called my credit card company to dispute the claim. Here's the kicker: within a few days (by this time my wife's birthday passed), I received a email from Fumfie saying that the product was out of stock and I would be issued a full refund. THEN, a couple days after this, I receive ANOTHER email from Fumfie saying that the product shipped!!!!! I received the product in good condition via FED EX 2nd day air, and don't have much to say about the product itself except that it is as advertised (wouldn't expect anything less anyway...?!). Now, I'm effectively stuck with the camera grip, since I can't imagine the headache of having to go through this company for a return. Bottom line: don't buy from this company. Yes, their prices are competitive, but you are likely to be taken for a ride. I'm glad that others have reported positive experiences, but many more have been very critical of doing business with this company. Stick with the big online businesses you recognize. read more

Reading through the reviews is interesting. It seems everyone went through some kind of up-sell, so I was hesitant to order from here. Saving 23% over any other site then prompted my next question as to whether these were grey market products. After checking with Nikon to log my concerns I placed the order for a Nikon D5200. Got the expected email telling me to call and confirm the order. Spoke to the sales rep for about 5 min and politely declined the various up-sell items. Order was process less than an hour after that and shipped same day ! Got it 4 days later. Product was new as advertised and seems to be in good working order. Called in the serial number with Nikon to verify and we're now owners of a very nice camera. So, to sum it up. If you want a great price and don't mind a bit of aggressive up-sell then give these guys a shot. If you don't like an aggressive up-sell then spend the extra $ snd buy from Amazon. Can't speak to the restocking fee someone mentioned, but if you don't like their policies spend the extra money and go to a major retailer who offers a better return policy. read more

I was called early the following week and notified that it would take 12 - 14 business days to process the order - at which point I would be provided with shipping details. I thought their service seemed nice but I was surprised to be notified that shipping would take so long .. not realizing at the time, of course, what a wait I was going to be in for. I have checked back with Fumfie every week since the 14 days expired and I am given some strange explanation each time about how they are waiting for the product to land in their warehouse or their secondary warehouse and they do not have any kind of ETA of when that might be. I ordered a digital camera for what I thought was a steal then when I got it they sent me the lower end model for the price of the top of the line camera. The model they sent me is half of the price of what they charged when buying directly from Olympus. The box looked like they pulled a used one out of the trash. My experience with Fumfie is just about identical to that of an earlier review posted by Diana S. I purchased a refrigerator from Fumfie during Columbus Day weekend, October 13, 2014; there web-site showed the refrigerator I chose as 'Available'. When I called them they told me I would receive tracking information within 2-3 weeks of purchase. The 3 weeks and a couple days had passed and I never heard anything so I called them on November 5, 2014 to ask why haven't I heard anything. BTW, I talked to the same 'Steve' the Diana S. talked with. They told me there was production issues with the manufacturer and they didn't know when they would receive the refrigerator or when it would ship. So I asked why does your web site say it is available and still say available if you don't have the product and why did you charge my credit card for something you don't have? I cancelled the order and 'Steve' told me my credit card would be credited/charged back within two weeks or November 19th. I called them again on November 20th because I still hadn't received a charge back credit and I got more excused from 'Steve' and he told me they would issue a check by November 28th. I didn't wait until the 28th and called my credit card company to file a dispute which is still open as of December 12, 2014. I got a call from 'Steve' after I sent an email to him (a gmail account mind you, real professional outfit that uses free pop mail accounts) with him stating they answered the dispute with the credit card company and that I should call them and ask where my money is....WTF! So now they are passing the buck and trying to put it on the CC company. What a run-a-round and waste of time. So basically me and others are giving this scumbag company interest free loans, they are robbing Peter to pay Paul and have all the signs of a company in trouble. Be very careful folks, if they go Chapter 11 you won't get your money back. I have never meet a greater bunch of thieves in my life. Elliot, Sean, Steve, Bill John, Joyce -- talked to them all --- they must get special training on how to lie to a customer. Ordered a stove from them 3 and 1/2 months ago. Every time I called their story changed. First the stove was in but they couldn't find transport; then the next week they stated that the stove wasn't in and that was why the didn't ship but promised me that it would be in and shipped in another week. After 2 months they send me a defective stove -- if was a damaged product -- either a customer return or a store model -- had huge dents, missing pieces and no manual. I returned it. On Monday they stated that they have a new unit for me and they will ship it out. Tonight I get a phone call stating because they sent me a defective unit they will no longer take my credit card and that I should wire transfer the money to them -- real smart, send them money with no guarantees that they will every ship me anything. I intend to go to Samsung, the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General. Their web site stated all along that the stove was available -- false advertising; now they want me to wire transfer them money with no guarantee of shipment - seems like potential fraud to me. However I was able to get my camera X-T20 at a much better price delivered on time and the customer service was really good. He confirmed my address, tried to upsell me then discreetly stated the new charge to send the order which is higher than when I checked out on the website. He stated it included $109 charge that was not provided in the original order which stated free shipping. He said "it ain't UPS or Fedex, it's freight so ya gotta pay the $109 freight insurance fee. It's the same with everyone and you are still saving money with us. We barely make any money on this, we only make, like $40 on this. After checking and comparing prices across many online stores, I found the best price for Sony DSC RX100 camera in Fumfie.com. In spite of reading many negative reviews about their team in yelp and many other websites, I took a risk and placed an online order for Sony DSC RX100 camera during the thanksgiving of 2015.On the next day, I have received a call from their customer service team to confirm my order and while confirming the order, they try to offer some camera accessories like extra battery and some other stuffs, which I declined and finally they agree to ship the product with all the accessories mentioned in the online portal.After 8-10 business days (New York to San Diego) I have received my camera with all the promised accessories in a brand new condition through USPS. Unfortunately I personally did not like the look and feel of the camera (Nothing to do with Fumfie.com)and So I planned to return it. I called up their customer service and inquired about the formalities to be fulfilled to complete the returns. They promptly explained me all the process and sent me the RMA number, which is required for all returns and informed me that once they physically received the camera, their inspection team will inspect it and based on their review, they will credit the money back to my account within 48 hrs. So just like the way the customer service guy has explained me within 48 hrs I have received the full credit back to my paypal account. So overall I found the whole process pretty transparent and straight forward and did not face any issues or hassles as explained by many others. The only shortcomings I found is that their online portal is not very user friendly and in spite of placing the order online through their portal by creating an account, the account does not show any trace or history of my online order. Appliance? Run away. FYI The appliance division of this company is separate from the camera/electronics division. My experience is with the appliance division only. The prices were good, so I ordered a range for my new kitchen from them. Big Problem: You know how you need to be home during the delivery time window? I was. They botched it, twice. One time they arrived too early and left. The other time they just didn't show. No phone calls either time. This meant I had to reschedule a third time and take even MORE time off from work! On the third attempt they were supposed to arrive between 1-4pm, which turned into 6pm, which turned into 8pm, then 10. The delivery guys finally arrived at 11:15pm! The situation was so bizarre that I took photos. Bigger Problem: The box the range was packed in was damaged, badly. I asked the deliverymen if it had been dropped. They assured me it was just cosmetic damage to the box. Now that the stove is to be installed in my new kitchen, the front is dented and buckled. It was obviously dropped. HUGE Problem: I've been calling the company for 2 days now. I emailed my photos of the 11pm delivery truck and the obvious damage to the unopened box, and the buckled front of the stove. Any reasonable person would view this as sufficient proof that the appliance was dropped. "Steve" has been incredibly rude. He tried to convince me the stove must have left the Samsung factory like that. He has been condescending and implies that I am mentally challenged. He insists that I deal with only him--he won't pass me on to his supervisor or anyone else in the company. Run away. read more

By far the worst company ever! Buyer beware! They have a fake company name on Amazon called SSE Photo & Video, however the company name is Fumfie. Be sure to report to the BBB this company name if you bought from SSE Photo & Video on Amazon. Now for the review. First off this company took over 3 weeks to intake the item if you are trying to return. So if you sent it back in 2 weeks your too late it wont be intake by their 30 day policy. Second, they do not return all of your items. If you purchase a bundle they will steal everything in the bundle and not return it to you. I reported them to the BBB and have made a police report on their theft. I even have a recording of them saying sorry for not returning my items and that they will send it. However, they never send the item and will deny it. The most horrible company I ever had to deal with. Will be going to small claims court if they dont send it back. I have ordered two high end cameras with lenses from Fumfie. Both arrived within delivery window in excellent, brand new condition. Prices are unbeatable and roughly 30-50% below what other sites are offering. I have two recommendations when ordering from this site: Understand that the order will not be processed right away. This company does have a marketing strategy that involves a follow-up phone call with suggestions for additional purchases. I have waited to order lenses knowing what was to come, and on another occasion declined, which was gracefully accepted. I would also recommend using paypall if you are concerned about site security. When considering the cost savings, I would also suggest considering using overnight shipping. I would use this company again and have been able to upgrade my gear as a result of the excellent prices offered. read more
