The office is very clean and well put together. The staff are all great except for one of the women who does the actual lasering. My first visit was with Michelle, who is super sweet, my second was with the other woman who was really rude and actually forgot to even do both of my underarms. She was so rushed and complained that I didn't shave close enough that I just didn't say anything about the underarm thing. All my visits past that have been with Wendy, though, and she's a total doll. I love her! The assistants and receptionists have all been great. I'm a tad dissapointed with the results, though, which is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. I got the full body laser treatment with 6 sessions. I've finished my upper body and I still have to shave my underarms every other day, like usual, though the hair HAS thinned significantly. I've seen a reduction on my face but definitely not what I was hoping for. I'm on #4 with my lower so I'll update that later but even with that I've hardly seen a reduction. Hopefully it'll get better. I think the biggest problem is that it was really talked up the first few sessions when I mentioned how much I hated my body hair ( I have PCOS which causes dark, course hair on my very pale skin) and they just kept rambling about how when I was done with these sessions I'll never have to deal with it again. I think it was talked up so much that the results didn't match the expectation. If I purchased a full new round I think it would be closer to what I had in mind (and, yes, I do know that it will never be 100% gone and often slowly comes back) but I'm just not sure if I'm willing to make that financial investment again. I'd been saving for a while for this one. UPDATE* Done with all my sessions and am about 6 months out and see almost no reduction in hair growth anywhere but my face as I paid for a few extra sessions there. Even there, though, I still have to wax my lip weekly, pluck my chin, my legs literally look like I did nothing to them, my underarms are still being shaved every day (though, at least, are slightly patchy in some spots), and I am overall heartbroken by having wasted $1,000 on something that did nothing. Anything that did look better after the sessions has come back in full. I could have bought razors, hair removal creams and waxing strips for years with that money. read more

I got Botox injections here and had to wait a while before they saw me. They didn't ask whether I had gotten Botox before, so I let them know it was my first time. It basically took them less than 1 minute to do the injections, which they did without ice, and without taking enough time to blot the blood droplets from my forehead. However, not knowing differently I thought everything was fine (but my recent experience at a much nicer place has changed my opinion considerably). I definitely felt like they were in a hurry to stab me and get me out, and they didn't give the customary warnings (like don't drink alcohol for 6 hours or exercise, etc). Maybe the consent forms said something about that, I can't recall. Anyway, to be fair, I was concerned about getting all 25 units in my forehead as my dermatologist said I should be fine with 10, and the woman was nice enough to do 15 and let me come in for the additional 10 if I wanted in 2 weeks, even though they usually don't let you split treatments. I ended up returning for the last 10 units. When I got my treatment today at Laser Derma Care Center, they told me I could come in for a free touch-up around 2 weeks from now if I notice that the area isn't completely relaxed, and FUN by Michelle certainly didn't give me that option. read more

Today, I experienced my first laser hair removal treatment. Wendy (PA) performed my treatment and she was SO wonderful!! She was very informative about the process, which made me a lot more comfortable. Wendy is extremely nice and has an energetic demeanor that I love! I disagree with the previous review of the facility being out of the way and hard to find. I found the clinic immediately and when scheduling my apt. on the phone the receptionist was very thorough about giving me directions and she was also extremely nice : ) I did wait a little in the waiting room but that was because I was about 15 minutes early. I really liked how fast the treatment process was, Wendy was fast but thorough and also kind. She talked to me during the laser hair removal, which made the slight pain of the treatment even more tolerable. I also liked that they didn't push me to purchase products or other services. I cannot comment too much about the actual cost of the services they offer since I did not pay full price for services. I found FUN by Michelle on Groupon and purchased 6 treatments for only $199 (for a medium sized area), which is a great deal!! I really hope they offer more Groupon deals in the future! My next laser hair removal treatment will be in 6 weeks and performed by Michelle (the owner and also a PA). I hear she is also very nice and that I will love her as well! Does not last. Had laser hair Removal done for 6 sessions and it all grew back within a year, purchased another Groupon to see if I few more treatments would do the trick but them was told that you cannot use a 2nd Groupon even if it had been years prior. Only one per a lifetime. Groupon would not give me my money back. They would only let me have a Groupon credit. So so dissatisfied. So I'm out $ 200 and I still have a hairy face. The services here absolutely do not work. I bought laser hair removal and chin lift velashape, both of which did not work. I don't know why I went back for the second service when the first one didn't work. The staff is subpar and the place is cute. No matter what, it is not worth going here because the services DON'T WORK. My chin and hair are EXACTLY the same. I, too, was told that yes, I would see complete results by the end of treatment and then at the end was told that you have to buy several more treatments to see results. Such a ripoff. read more

Newest update. I got a call at 8:35am today from Pam, a representative from Dr. Reyes' office saying that they were not going to grant me the refund. As soon as I said "ok" they hung up on me. I immediately called back, confused about the details of their decision as well as curious of who Dr. Reyes was. I spoke with Pam from FUN by Michelle and asked why they choose not to refund my money. She said Michelle examined my eye, which she says was noted in my file and that michelle saw no damage. I immediately responded back stating that no examination took place. She said it was noted in my file but when I asked her what eye it was she said she didn't have the answer. This unprofessional at its finest. I have already seen a specialist who has professionally examined my eye in which he used colored eye drops and a black light to see the damage/injury that was caused by the laser. When i spoke with michelle on Monday November 18th, in one of the rooms i sat on a chair and she leaned on the table with her arms folded. no gloves, no eye kit for triage. michelle lied about examining my eye...and she is not a doctor. In my profession i understand that files and patient information cannot be fabricated. Michelle should not have her license to work on people nor work in a profession that involves people's health. This is an unnecessary battle that could have been solved without malpractice attorneys. But this business surely does not act professional by using scare tactics and blowing me off. Love this place! Being a Med-spa-aholic, I've tried many places over the years. This is my new "go to".

This is the worst injection of Radiesse (filler) in my nasal folds around my mouth. I have ever received! I am very bruised! I have never been this bruised before. My upper lip area is huge. I didn't ask to have my lips done either. My lower lip is regular, so I LOOK very FUNNY.. The Bruising will take 2 weeks to be completely gone. I won't be able to go out for several days! I have had some minor swelling in the past but it was gone within 4 days. This is the first time I have had it done by a NON-Physician. I think I will stick to the Drs. If I do it again! My coupon had expired but she did still give me the groupon price. And she was very friendly and nice. but....... I thought she did do it in a hurry. Usually It is done with the client laying down. I love FUN by Michelle. I have had a number of procedures over the years. Some have delivered dramatic results, some have been worth the effort, but maybe not "life changing". In all cases, the staff and Michelle are wonderful to work with; they have never promised more than they can deliver. They have never tried to upsell a product or pressure me into a procedure. Ask them for advice and they always deliver. I have found that the most important thing is to listen to the experts and then decide for yourself if it is worth the time and money. Honestly, this one star is ONLY for the super nice Susie who works in the front and Betty. I have been coming to this place for a while now and I have been getting laser treatments for the longest time so, I know how it works. I had always gotten Betty who is great and does her job well. However, I was very unlucky the other day to get Michelle (the actual owner) as my laser specialist. She started the session immediately talking about what I need to do for my face. While she was doing the laser she didn't ask "how are you" or to just be quite and concentrate on what she needed to do. But nooooo, she discussed the facial treatments I needed, the rejuvenation treatments I needed. She finished in 1/4 of the time that Betty used to spend on me. Immediately she goes out comes back in and has all the lotions and products she "thinks" I need to buy. I went along and didn't complain because I never do. BUT, after a few days passed I noticed their were patches of prickly hair coming out in different areas. They were not the kind of hairs that were going to fall off after the procedure. These are prickly hairs indicating that she missed A LOT of spots on the treated area. I still wasn't super upset because I thought "I've been with them for a few years they are going to take care of their HUGE mistake and their loyal customer." So, I give them a call and after a few phone calls I get the worst reply. Michelle wouldn't even speak to me she had her "office manager" call and they gave a very simple, firm NO. She said, "Michelle thinks she did a good job and she has her physician's assistant degree". I mean she think she did a good job? Ridiculous!!! I don't care how much education you have, that doesn't mean you can't make a mistake or do a bad job. I literally have patches of prickly hair on my face because the supposed owner did a terrible job. DON'T ever come here!!! I'm not sure how she got her degree or even opened this business because she obviously doesn't know anything about her work or customer service. They are obviously just trying to make money. I feel bad for her because she not only lost a very loyal customer but she can never get anywhere treating her customers this way. There's a reason this place is rated 3 stars, the universe is being kind to them- it should be less. I was there on a Groupon, which was probably my first mistake, for IPL about a year ago. I purchased 1 Groupon for 2 treatments, and I saw no change at all to my age spots/discoloration, that my dermatologist usually can eliminate in 1-2 visits. The only reason I do not continue with him is that I'm trying to find good IPL closer to home. So anyway, to give them the benefit of the doubt, I thought I'd try it again but put the treatments closer together as sometimes this makes a difference per my Dermatologist, even FUN did not educate me that this is the case. So a year later I purchased another Groupon and wanted to try it again. They would not honor it because it said limit 1 when I purchased it. Nowhere on this Groupon did it say 1 in a lifetime, new customers only, introductory offer only, etc as other Groupons do, so in the absence of those details, It appeared to mean that you can only buy and use 1 at a time. So I did. Consider this, if you have a limit of items you can buy on special at Costco or any grocery store, doesn't it it usually mean that's the limit you can buy at that time, and not that you can't ever use a coupon for that item again??? So I asked them to honor it, and they said no, quite rudely. They refused to try to work out the issue at all and I commented on the poor customer service, somewhat in a state of shock. I said I would then have to dispute it with Groupon, to which they basically said 'so go ahead and good luck." When Groupon wouldn't refund it either, including refusing to give me Groupon bucks instead of cash back even for this $154 purchase, I asked Fun by Michelle if they would at least honor the purchase price towards A FULL PRICE SERVICE which they also refused. Clearly, they don't like being called on their poor customer serviced, and became passive aggressive with me due to it. FUN has good Groupon deals. Who doesn't? But after this incident I'm realizing there is a reason they have to run them day after day year after year, as the office manager actually bragged about. It's because they can't keep decent clientele because of poor results and poor customer service. They can only get them in one time with cheap deals. You won't go back for the results, and if there is an issue, you're going to be SOL and they will not care one bit. Avoid this place. read more

I recently finished my 5th session of laser hair removal for my chin with Michelle the owner and I barely notice a difference in my facial hair. On day one, Michelle told me that I would definitely need more sessions than the 6 I had bought from groupon and I was so naive to believe her. She finishes the sessions so fast which means she doesn't apply the laser well. A few days ago, my dermatologist told me that I have a perfect complexion for laser hair removal and if haven't noticed significant changes so far it's because I have basically been scammed. I purchased a groupon for my fiancé for full back. I am a RN and I used to personally treat him when I worked at a medspa a few years ago. Time only allowed 2 or 3 sessions but with those there was significant reduction in the area. His first visit with this establishment showed no improvements- the hair didn't even shed, which is what is supposed to happen. So either the settings were too low, or this laser does not work well. The hair that grew back is very coarse and when looking at his back, it looks identical to what it was previous to his treatment here. I've lasered literally thousands of people and, while of course one treatment isn't an instant fix, you see some differences- even patchiness, at times. Not the case. Perhaps it's the laser they use, perhaps it's the nurse performing the treatment not being thorough- I'm not sure. I wish I would've read the reviews stating an individual had 4 treatments and saw no results- instead experienced new growth in treatment areas. The hours are terrible! I REALLY wish I saw this prior to purchasing. M-F 9-5! Not open on weekends. Really? No working individual can seek treatment in that time. His first appointment was the end of July, his 2nd will be Oct 14 because Mondays and Wednesdays are the only days they take patients later, but obviously, that time fills up quickly. I inquired on even a partial refund since he did use 1 treatment and my request was denied. Getting him in for treatments is going to be a nightmare and if they continue to be ineffective and spaced too far apart, this is going to be $400 down the drain. The 1 star goes to customer service- the saving grace for this place. The girls are very sweet and accommodating and at least tried to squeeze him in but there is no flexibility in the business hours to allow them to do much. He states the establishment is clean and looks nice and the procedure was pretty painless compared to a laser I used to use on him, but he's disappointed in the results, too, and states he'd prefer the pain with results over no change. Perhaps this place is amazing with other services, I can't say, but we will not be purchasing additional treatments here nor can we recommend others to do so. read more

I purchased a Groupon for 6 laser treatments & after 5 I have VERY minimal results, I have very light complexion with black corse hair, I've been told that's a great combination for hair removal. I've just walked out of my 6th session UNTREATED due to the fact I sat in room for 30min without one person coming in!! I will attempt a thorough review of both the positives and negatives. Please keep in mind the only treatment I have received is laser hair removal so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of other treatments. I have been to FUN by Michelle at least 18 times over the last 2 years. Facility: Although the shop is on the second floor of a building with some very rickety stairs, it is otherwise very nice. It is clean, modern, and comfortable. While it is not high-end per se, it is well-maintained and sanitary. Staff: The women at the front desk and the assistants to the technicians are always friendly and helpful, although they are not very sociable. They make reminder calls, which is nice, and I never have to wait very long. I found Michelle to be abrasive and abrupt, and she even scolded an employee in front of me on one visit, which was awkward. I have also had two encounters with employees who told me they are afraid of Michelle and feel uncomfortable working with her. That being said, I am not sure if that is more a problem with Michelle, or a problem with her employees. The other laser technician is awesome. She is very friendly and attentive, and she takes the time to learn about your goals for treatment and focus on those areas. Treatment in the moment: Be careful to review what is covered in a full-body package, because there are key areas of your body you may expect are included and are not. For example, they do not do your legs, your happy trail (below your belly button on your stomach), or low on your lower back (they considered it to be my butt, which is not covered, but it is an area well above where my bathing suit bottom stops.) Otherwise, the treatment experience overall was not unpleasant. I have experienced very little pain, and really only experience pain when I suggest they increase the strength of the laser. They are quick and efficient. The assistant covers the areas in a gel that is messy, but they remove it afterwards and have wipes, a sink, and paper towels for you to clean up before you get dressed again. My primary technician was always checking on me to see where I was still noticing hair and making sure to take extra time in those areas to make sure they were displaying a reaction. She also always checked in to make sure I wasn't experiencing pain or excessive heat during treatment. Treatment results: I have received 12 sessions of full-body treatment. There is definitely a reduction in hair, but they certainly oversell the results. I had read a lot about it and knew it might not be a complete elimination of hair, and while Michelle did indicate that to me in the consultation, I was repeatedly told there shouldn't be any hair at the end and that they were surprised when I reported I still had a good amount of hair. After 12 treatments, my underarms are almost hairless and saw the best results by far, my forearms are at about a 50% reduction, my big toes are maybe at a 50% reduction, and my Brazilian area is maybe at 60%. I have a few specific stubborn hairs on my chin and between my eyebrows that are still here after 12 treatments as well. They eliminated legs from the full-body treatment between my first 6th and 7th treatment, so my legs still have to be shaved daily but only had 6 treatments. Overall, these results are in line with what I could realistically expect, but not from the way they discussed them in-session. It has been several weeks since my last treatment, so there still may be more hair to return that I haven't seen yet, and I imagine it will come back over time at least some, so I will try to report again at the end. The bottom line is that I am far less hairy than I was when I started, and I am pleased with that, but don't expect a miracle. I still have to shave my legs and pluck hairs on my face, but I feel in the realm of normal amounts of hair now, as opposed to extremely hairy when I started. Summary: Overall kind staff and efficient, with a few professionalism issues. Nice facility, clean. Decent but not amazing results from laser treatments. I am not sure the results would have been worth the money it would cost without a Groupon deal, and I am not sure if my results are on par with what they expect or if I really had surprisingly stubborn hair, but I wish they had been more realistic in talking all the time about the magical results I would likely have so that I could maintain my realistic expectations. read more

I went in for my small area laser hair removal appt. The receptionist was very sweet and nice. Some other staff lady who didn't even bother to introduce herself or address me my my name walked me back to the room and seemed to be in a great rush to start the procedure. Then some other lady in a white coat walked in ( also didnot introduce herself) and started talking about how the procedure was going to be fast and that it might not work even after 6 treatments and i might need more. I was not explained the procedure or its risks etc even though i was made to sign forms in the front that stated that all this would be explained. This lady also seemed in a rush to get my tx done. she didnt even bother to look at the area with concern. just kept saying "dont worry i am going over it". after the procedure which literally took less than 5 mins she wanted to walk me out as soon as she could and was evasive about answering my questions. The office looks nice but the back office staff really needs to explain the procedure to clients and not rush the appointments like they did for me. I will have to go back to get the rest of the treatments because my money is stuck with them but will not be buying any treatments form them in the future. Very dissapointed. read more

I was there for botox through groupon and I am quite sure she diluted the botox. I would give her 1 star but yelp seems to filter all the really bad reviews. I have had botox on several occasions and she injected me with more than usual. I had virtually ZERO results. I went back after 10 days and she even admitted that i had very little results - she would not refund me and only offered to inject me with more fake botox - AT A cost!!! This is strictly a review for laser hair removal. First let me say that yes, the staff was great, but I can't help but feel ripped off. I can honestly say I should have just given them my money. The results from their laser was non existent. I thought maybe after 4 sessions I would have noticed SOME results..nope. I'm realizing now that it's the way they actually do the procedure(having gone to another place & received excellent results notable after 1 session) The way the laser was waved over my skin in such a quick manner & whenever the laser would go off, that was the lucky square inch that would receive the laser. How is that going to work? The laser should be placed (& actually go off) on every part of the area you paid for! 30 minutes for whole upper or whole lower body is definitely not enough time. Scheduling was always booked out, & I was so discouraged with the lack of results that I gave up. Do yourself a favor & try another place that will actually perform the procedure correctly. read more
