Vacation was nice as expected, but when I got ahold of a ScootCoupe, I was begging myself to know why I hadn't done this before!! No, seriously, I didn't think this thing would turn so many heads. Wholesome smiles from all the locals as my girlfriend and I putted up the A1A. I felt that the Floridans were really happy for me the way they pointed as they leaned in to their partners saying, "that looks fun." At first, I rented it for 4 hours. First I went North (from Deerfield) where I caught amazing views of the sea. We stopped and took seaside selfies. Then, we went south to Ft. Lauderdale. Going up the drawbridge was a climb, but going down was like a roller coaster ride. We maintained a modest speed of 30mph with the occasional 35mph, and we never utilized the seat belts. I was a tad rambunctious with the road runner-sounding little horn, but overall a great joy. We discovered the best beaches from the ScootCoupe cruise; places I would've been to bored to travel to by car. After totaling 45 miles, I had to call and ask if I could extend the rental term to 24 hours. That was a superb choice. With our newfound time extension, we stopped at a McDonalds and had a sandwich in the shade. Satisfied with our lunch, we cruised north again, stopped to grab swimwear, and looking for beach parking. One park was $25, so I turned around and left. A couple miles up the road, we found a small park where there were no car parking spots, but plenty of motorcycle parking spots. $3/hour(max) @South Beach Park Pavilion at the end of E Palmetto Park Rd.. The coupe fit perfectly in a motorcycle space. After enjoying amazing, post-Christmas day, sea temps, we took back to the road and went back to our hotel for dinner. We felt like true road warriors. Eager to get back on the ScootCoupe, it was time for some gasoline. Finding that Chevron made my car run noticeably better than Ohio gasoline, I figured, correctly that it was (probably) the best option for ScootCoupe(er-ee doo). $3 filled the tank, happily. And on we went North, again. It was a nice drive past hundreds of Million-dollar mansions, and a few scenic ocean views. Bring your sunscreen for this trip; I was looking like a lobster when I got off. Finally, we took one last night cruise, just to top it off before we went back to our hotel to sleep. All in all, I think we went about 150mi total on the thing. Throughout our road faring journey, we kindly, and easily, (probably illegally) veered over into the bike lane and threw up a peace sign to signify to drivers that they can pass. The ScootCoupe comes equipped with chrome-like Roll-bars (good for visibility), rear view mirrors, seatbelts, good suspension, lockable dash and trunk, a couple bike locks, a horn, headlights, high beams, a speedometer, digital odometer, fuel gauge, tachometer, and sharp, front amd rear brakes. Not to mention an ample horn. Very safe; perfect for kids or couples. In all honesty, I am now looking into buying one of these little beasts. The host man was very cool, friendly, and knowledgeable. Please don't give this company any of your business. They are disrespectful and unprofessional. I can't believe a company like this is still in business. Long story short, the man working there gave us 2 broken bikes, cussed in our face and rode off on his bike without giving us a chance to speak. We returned the bikes and never got our $180 dollars back. They refused to work with us and call us back after several messages. It created a couple stressful days on our vacation dealing with disputing a charge on my credit card and being ignored by a "company." Again, please don't give this company any business. Please rent else where. read more

I went here to rent kayaks they are not only over priced but their customer service sucks! The person who was helping me seemed to know absolutely nothing. Every question I asked his respond was "I don't know that's a good question". I decided not to rent from there since he couldn't answer any of my questions. Also didn't like that he answered his cell phone in the middle of our conversation. read more

It was "alright" the bikes were awesome. My sister and I went to Deerfield for a mini vacation and wanted to ride around the area for a day. My only downside about the bikes that I wished i knew before booking is that they dont have water bottle holders or baskets. Riding around all day trying to hold my water bottle was a little annoying but otherwise it was great for the price! read more

If I could give less than one start I would, what an horrible experience. My husband and I rented to bikes. When we rode of the chains popped went back got new bikes, same thing. And when we just didn't want to ride anymore. The manger or owner MAXWELL was rude and disgusting. Save your money and the Trouble and rent some where else. read more

The WORST kayak rental experience. I made a reservation for a kayak rental for 4pm and called ahead to confirm before I drove 30 minutes. I arrived 5 minutes late and was told they were closing in an hour and could no longer rent the kayak. The man was rude and walked away saying nothing. DO NOT COME HERE. My friend came the next day and the kayak was falling apart and they didn't get a refund either! Ridiculous. read more

Highly recommend Fun Rentals for renting bikes. Very reasonably priced and we had bikes in excellent condition with multi speed and the owner added bike bags for our incidentals. Open early and we retruned the bikes a little later than we were supposed to and he didn't charge us. Priceswere much better than other bike rental places in the area which we have used in the past. Well we rented from them for our vacation, out of the 5 bikes we had we had problems with three. Just normal riding around town and the chains popped off constantly and ended up with a flat tire. We had no way to transport to broken bike back and they had no service to pick it up. The guys also didn't seem very apologetic at all. Overall not the best customer service. read more

We rented 2 bicycles for a few hours. Very reasonably priced and easy to deal with. The bikes were decent with variable speed. But better than bikes rented on vacations elsewhere. We rode north on A1A, very nice ride. Will be returning again tomorrow with some folks we met at our resort. read more
