Going here has been the worst RV shopping experience I've had since I started looking for an RV. After doing extensive research on the net decided Fun Town RV was the go to place because of large inventory and would not be under sold. Drove over 400 miles and spent the night in Cleburne TX , then waited an hour parked on the street until they unlocked the gates the next morning. Already knowing what I wanted to purchase and thinking I would leave with new travel trailer quickly turned into a total fail. After entering the sales department not one person asked or offered to assist, show, help do anything. After stumbling around looking at brochures for 30 minutes and employees zipping by not offering to help or show me anything....... out the exit I went. They were right about not being under sold, they missed this easy sale. I DO NOT recommend nor will i ever be back. read more

I would never suggest to anyone to buy from here. They may be the cheapest, but the customer service is horrible. Took our trailer in for warranty work after only having it for a month, promised we would have it back by Christmas, after dropping it off December 4th!! All they know how to do in the service department is tell you LIES or always blaming someone else for their mistakes!!! This is the service management!! Totally pathetic!! I've bought two $60,000 plus trailers here. Sales; they're all about you. Then once you buy, you're garbage. Their service center is a joke. Constant turnover of staff. I had one RV there for 6 weeks and on the date I was to pick up, they finally did some repairs. Most repairs weren't even finished! I took it back a second time and they still can't get them done!! They are always backed up and full of excuses. Spend the extra $$ and buy somewhere else that has a better service center. You will be happy you did. Trust me!!!!! read more

We have been looking at RVs for a couple of years and knew the floorplan we wanted. Our sales person was Connor. He was very helpful in answering all our questions. He was very personable and honest. We purchased the trailer and Connor even helped us with the inspection/walk thru. We had a lot of questions and probably spent a couple of hours on this task. He made sure that we got answers to all of our questions. We really love our new trailer. You should get a raise Connor. :-) read more

Do not purchase from these people. You will get the promises of warranty repair options which are a full blown out lie. I went with the question of can my rv if i purchase, be repaired and serviced in florida where i will reside. I got an answer of you can only have repairs by funtown service centers and just over in Georgia or Alabama we have repair facilities. After i purchased it was no, we only have facilities near texas and you have yo use them. Then i was told another rv service center could do the repair thru them and they would set it up. Next i was told i had to drive 1200 miles back to texas for the repairs. They scheduled for a Thursday and Friday repair snd i gave in and just drove back for the defective repairs to an island placed in a wrong location that when you closed the slide it crushed the refrigerator doors. When i arrived for the scheduled repair, i was told they do nog schedule repairs and it would be possibly 3to4 days before they could even look at my rv to assess the rv. Now this rv was assessed two months previous and they ordered the parts from the factory to repair the refrigerator doors. I was furious. 1200 miles on a timeline to get repairs in an rv i live in only to be shut down. $4000 in expenses to get nothing from these people. Oh and i forget to mention they called on saturday saying they could go ahead and make the repairs if i took it back to them. Day late, dollar short. read more

Strictly speaking for the sales side here. My wife son and I went in to look at trailers right before new years. It was freezing cold outside but the showrooms here are all inside so we could shop in comfort. Our sales person was very accommodating and not pushy. We got a really good price on the unit and they gave me a number for my trade without having to see it. The delivery process was thorough and the person who did it listened to all our questions. read more

I meant to write this review in July 2015. It's a very long convoluted story, so I won't go into it. Bottom line I needed to trade in my old RV, purchase a new one, and take receipt of the new one within a 7 day period. We showed up unannounced on a Monday morning prior to them even opening. We were immediately assigned Darren Pack. As we already knew what we wanted he simply had to check their stock. Their stock is massive. Within 4 hours we were walking out the door. All paperwork and financing handled. 5 days later we picked up a brand new unit. If you've ever purchased an RV before, you know this is practically unheard of. This was the worst rv buying experience for me and my first time buying an rv to boot. We bought a nice used rv and drove about 20 minutes up the road to head home and the roof came off. We took it back Dean Smith was great he told us that should not happen and they would get on it first thing Monday morning. So a couple days I call to try to get a update on when it would be finished no one talked to me nor called me back. Then Dean Smith tried to tell us its our fault we shouldnt have been pulling the rv so fast 20 miles up the road . When the rv was complete we get a text from William Ward saying " it's done!!!! Come get it." Not even a phone call nor apology for the wasted time nothing. We drive up a second time to find our rv in the used lot unlocked for people to walk through. We had to fix our hitch which they knocked out of alignment , and back the rv all the way out of there yard and get our slides in and ready to haul ourselves. Not too mention they left shavings of materials and dust all over the rv. I was under the impression when you buy something it comes home clean. I would like to think working on someone's RV, vehicle or anything you would know to clean up after yourselves. Dean Smith for being the sales manager was very rude and unprofessional on how this was handled. Being I am a paying customer I would think I would deserve a lot more then what I got. I would never go back here again. On another note the gentleman who did my loan I believe his name was Connor was an absolute gem very nice and professional and pleasure to work with. Also Tyler the gentlemen who came out to show us the do's and donts of the rv was very kind and knowledgeable. I do not recommend this place And hope there customer service improves significantly. read more

This is our second and FINAL PURCHASE from Fun Town RV/ Cleburne, Texas. The sales staff are remarkable and very knowledgeable. BUT once you purchase a unit your basically on your own. The first time we had our Spartan Toy Hauler out going from Texas to Nevada the water heater went out (Never got to use it) we called to try and get directions on trouble shooting and left a message at the Service Department and NO ONE CALLED BACK. ITS BEEN 8 DAYS and still never heard from them you never get to talk with a real person just have to leave a message and be at their mercy. WE texted our salesman but he could do nothing other than give us the phone number of Coach Net-This too is a joke once you trouble shoot with how you have tried to repair the problem your left on your own with them telling you to take it to Fun Town Service Dept. When your spending this kind of money and have no service department to even speak with leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The prices are cheap but so are the units and you can not expect NO service at all. WE are home now and have put in another phone call to try to have the water heater fixed and many other items that have fallen apart while on the road. Lets see how long this will take for them to call us back. SAVE yourself some heart ache and buy from a reputable dealer that takes care of customers needs you might spend a little more money but honestly in the long run its worth every dime. The first unit was a bumper pull and it was also in need of serious repairs but we gave them the benefit of doubt and have come to the conclusion once you purchase from FUN TOWN RV your on your own as far as service and your going to need service on these units. We bought a RV from the Denton Center, The company will screw you over in a heart beat! We paid 10K for a used RV wanted to exchange it the next week for something bigger. Rodney the sales man stated the RV was on worth 6500. 5 Days before he presented paperwork showing the value of the RV at 11K. I have tried multiple times to work out a resolution! Purchased a 5th wheel from Micah Hill almost 2 months ago site unseen. I cannot speak highly enough of Micah, he took his time, walked me through my first RV purchase and never once made me feel rushed or pressured. When I came to pick up the 5th wheel with my wife.and 3 kids he made them feel welcomed and made sure I had what I needed to get going. People PLEASE do not take your motorhome or your trailer to the service department- we have a very expensive rig and they wreaked the back end of it, tore off the whole license plate and pretended it didn't happen- then they let our brand new battery run down until it was dead and all they had to do was push a damn button and they failed to tell us it was dead so we were stuck there until we could find a new one- and no help from them!!!! We bought a 2017 wildwood 30bkqss in October of 2016 parked at lake lot used on weekends found issues of shower not sealed door not closing to bathroom and outdoor kitchen door not closing right called for service appt was given one 4weeks out in December told 6-8 weeks to get work done actually took 3-4 months and lots of calls when picked up remote would not work took 3 hrs for them to find out fuse blown and replace then this past summer refrigerator busted out bottom of cabinet called and was told had several do that they put too large of fridge in trailer so got rid of unit it also was falling apart due to staples that were falling out which btw is how things are put together in it oh and outdoor kitchen door they supposed to have replaced was never done just siliconed it so it was again filling with water causing it to swell and not close properly so we go back to buy a fifth wheel and mention troubles with other trailer and told oh that's because those are cheaply built made for first timers about ruined me from owning another but tried again anyway asked for cost of things to be added to unit was told would call manufacturer and get them give me a couple days that was in October of this year still to this day including a so called general manager calling and being told he would have it the next day of which never happened so we started looked at other dealers found one out of state who kept in contact and got us buying from them even with cost of going from Texas to Ohio to get still saving 10k + over what anyone else can sell it for read more

Just spent over 50k on a 2020 model that is unusable due to air conditioner and refrigerator not working upon delivery. Bought the 4K dollar "service package" and can't get anyone out to look at it because my package doesn't kick in for 30 days. Have spent well over 12 hours on the phone through dozens of separate calls. This has been a horrible experience so far. Once you pick yours up, plan on it being your problem. read more

Now, think how much more of nuisance its going to be when you have an issue. Calls go unreturned as well as emails. Ok, I thought I was done but it seems NOT! If I could give a negative rating I would. My Daughter and family were staying in the trailer and two things THAT I WAS CHARGED FOR were not taken care of. One of the damaged blinds was NOT replaced and even though we were ASSURED the water and drainage systems were checked and the leak if the bathroom sink was fixed...THE LEAK WAS NOT REPAIRED..IT STILL LEAKS!!! If someone at Fun Town reads this know that I am calling on Monday and I want to speak with the General Manager, I work with clients EVERYDAY working to fulfill their requests and if myself or any of my crews displayed this level of incompetence I HAVE AND WOULD FIRE THEIR BUTTS!!!! Wow!!! In 31 years of purchasing automobiles, RV's, UTV's, and boats, I have never seen a more disorganized operation in my life. Don't get me wrong, the sales person was nice and informative, the sales manager was very nice and helpful, and service was ok, but man, finance was the most atrocious cluster I have ever seen. I don't mean getting approved or funding was bad, it was the finance guy, his crappy attitude, lack of caring, and don't follow through effort. We bought in OK but live in Texas. They collected sales tax for Texas, OK inspection, and OK registration. Plus, I had to call 5 times and take a day off to get final paper work Which they never gave me. Also, first payment date was wrong (people who are once a month check understands this comment), and when I talked to this guy, he said "What do you want me to do about it". Plus, never followed through with paper work after "Yes I will send it to you". Had to get corporate to fix paper work just to register in Texas. Cluster operation. Do yourself a favor and stay a way from Funtown. All the excitement over purchasing a new RV gone. Need to rename to BUMTOWN since all the hassle bums you out. read more

WOW!! I would recommend this place and their services to anyone!! This is the second time we have done business with Funtime RV in Cleburne Tx. THANK YOU Angie Cook! We were first time rv'ers and wanted to give it a try and Angie worked hard for us. Well..needless to say..we needed a bigger unit. So we contacted Angie and let her know what type of unit we wanted and the price range, and about 2 months later she called and she had found what we wanted.The service we received the first time (5-16) was good...about a 7...but this time a 10!! The staff was phenomenal... Thank you Shannon for the quick and easy sign out. Thank you Dan for working hard and getting great financing. Thank you Sonny for a great customer walk thru that was very professional and friendly. Even though it was 95 degrees, he took his time and answered all the questions we had and never rushed us. He even installed some small accessories we had purchased for the trailer. The whole experience was organized and impressionable. Thank you Mike for your hard work. Mike really came thru for us...we dropped a bomb on the Hitch department and he got us a new hitch installed in about 30 minutes..even with all the people that were there and getting their trailers. Overall I was very impressed with the process and the people who worked in their service department. This was a brand new higher end 5th wheel that I had bought there 4 weeks earlier and after coming back from a 4 week trip I was on the roof cleaning and noticed that the rubber roof was not installed properly at the factory, it wasn't attached to the front cap, in a rain storm it would have been horrible and I was surprised that no one noticed it before me. When I brought it in to get it fixed the process was quite painless and was fixed in about 4 to 5 hours until it came time to leave. I hooked up my truck and proceeded to leave but when I turned the corner my auto-sliding hitch spun 90 degrees and slammed all the way back to the back of the bed of the truck and the tongue of the 5th wheel hit the top cosmetic piece of my tailgate. I called the technicians out and said something was wrong and they said oh no they forgot to put the capture plate back on and apologized profusely and took pictures. When they called their supervisor his only comment on the phone to them was "the customer is responsible for removing and installing the capture plate". So the tech apologized in advance and asked not to shoot the messenger and related the message to me. I bought the trailer, hitch all new from them 4 weeks earlier, I had no idea what a capture plate was or how it worked, I have been pulling 5th wheel RV trailers for 20 years. They took it off and I didn't know it and I wouldn't have noticed it anyway since I had never seen one before. We were all astounded that they didn't offer to fix the problem especially as it was probably only $100 plastic piece and didn't hit the metal part of the gate. I always hoped that the first damage to my new truck would be something I didn't and wasn't someone else's responsibility. Considering they just finished 4-5 hours of warranty work you would think they would take some responsibility for what happened. read more

We decided to give Funtown a second chance since 3 years ago they failed miserably at selling us a fifth wheel! Sales staff is very rude and not helpful! We ended up purchasing a fifth wheel from United RV and the purchase was very smooth and we felt like we got a good deal. So we found a used Fifth wheel at Funtown and it was advertised at 32,775 on their website, then 3 days later it rose to 34,995. I had taken pictures of the original advertisement to show my wife the RV. I called Junior Santos who we had talked to on our previous visit. Nice guy, but he spent half the time talking about his failed Baseball career than selling us a RV, I am surprised his head would even fit in a RV! They would not honor the price even though I had a picture of the advertisement, Junior said the lady fat fingered the price on their website and she was going to be wrote up, unfortunate but not my fault! All I was asking was just honor the price I saw advertised, we are serious buyers and I felt like they did not take us seriously! Again a failed attempt on Funtown in selling us a RV, I will not step foot on their lot again and definitely not refer anyone to Funtown! He answered every question. If we wanted to see on top of the camper, he went on top, he got under it, he never complained. If I could do it over again I wouldn't purchase from them. They are not close to where we live, but are the only place authorized to service our unit. Don't bother with their "Service Plan". Most of the time we needed service we had to wait 1 or more months to get our unit in. Also more than once they kept our unit a month or longer "fixing it" waiting for parts etc. Considering this is peak camping season coming up, our unit will not be available for use (leaking toilet when water connection is turned on) for over half the summer at least if not the entire summer. Fun Town RV should change their name to Waiting Around RV! read more

Fun Town recently provided us with excellent customer service. We purchased our trailer in Cleburne in February. Our sales rep Tony was up front, honest, and attentive. Everything he said came true on paper! We had a positive purchase experience due to him. Recently we had an issue after hours with the tongue jack. Another Tony in the service yard in Cleburne took our call, we brought the trailer in the next day, and a replacement was installed while we were at lunch! Our overall experience with FUNTOWN RV in Cleburne was not so fun! We were extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service, sale staff knowledge of the product they're selling, and lack of communication,,I can go one but I really want to keep this review short. It's ridiculous that so many involved know nothing about the products they sell. What should have taken 2 hours tops took 7 hours before we walked out the door with our new RV. It was 104* that day in June 2018 and no one offered to help or to send help to transfer our personal possessions from our old unit to the new one. They made mistakes on our paperwork with spelling names, title info, address, and the $$ of the purchase. They would make one correction only to make another mistake, much like the repairs they had to correct. The wood interior steps were scratched from rocks in their shoes. We had to finally stop them or we would have been there forever! At one point we caught an employee taking a break in our air conditioned unit. Enough is enough! We will never buy from this company again and don't recommend them to anyone! read more

We took our trailer in for a warranty repair on the 7 pin connector and an insurance repair of the awning on May 2, 2015. On May 5th Wayne, the service manager, said he would get the parts ordered and it would take about 2 weeks for them to come in. My insurance company sent them a check for the repairs. After a lot of phone calls back and forth, I spoke with Kerri on June 12th. All he could tell me was that the parts had been ordered on May 6th. The next day Kerri called me back and asked if he do it for $$$ and I wouldn't have to file an insurance claim, would that be ok? I advised him that my insurance company had already sent him a check. I also questioned how he suddenly had parts when yesterday he did not. He said he did have some of the parts and he would try to get it in the shop and have it out by next Saturday. The following Saturday, June 20th, I called in the morning but had to leave a message. By late afternoon no one had called me back so I called the service department and asked to speak to a manager. The receptionist said that I had to talk to the technician (Kerri) because he knew what was going on. After holding for nearly 30 minutes, I told the receptionist that I wanted to speak to a manager over Wayne. I was transferred to Mike Tomlin's voicemail. Wednesday June 24th when I had not receive a call back from Mike, I called back and asked to speak to another manager so I was transferred to a sales manager's voicemail. He did not call me back either. On June 25th, my husband called and spoke with Curtis who said the trailer was ready. After driving over an hour to get there to pick it up, Curtis looks at the invoice and notices that the awning was supposed to be repaired. He advises my husband that the awning had not been repaired. At this point my husband told Curtis to just refund the insurance check and we would just take it some place else for repairs. Before leaving, he stopped in the sales office and asked who he could talk to about the horrible service we had received but was told that there was no one there and we had to go through the service department. After getting it home, we noticed that the 7 pin connector had not even been replaced. So after having our trailer for nearly 8 weeks they did not do any of the work we had it in for. Every time we talked to someone they gave us a different story. I am in disbelief that managers at a company can not bother to call a customer back, that after nearly 8 weeks our trailer is still not fixed, and that we have absolutely no one we can complain to. read more

Just want to start by saying that I have purchased 3 campers from two different dealerships in past. With that said, I have been trying to locate a Forest River Geo Pro 17PR which is hard to find in my area. By chance my wife located a 2018 17PR at Funtown RV Rockwall, TX via online. I made contact by telephone with a salesman named Chris who was very friendly and professional. I advised him that I was very interested in the camper, but would like to travel out and look at it after negotiating a price. After some back and forth on the price, a purchase price was set. At this point the dealer wanted a 1,000$ deposit before they would secure the camper for purchase. I explained to the salesman, that I would bring a check for the purchase price and buy the camper if it was as promised. The salesman advised that they could not secure it for me without the deposit. I advised them that I understood and would just take the chance on traveling over to look and purchase. Then, I was advised the PDI could not be done until the deposit was received and they could not guarantee it would be completed on the day of purchase. I was told they had several campers going out and time would be limited. So, I advised the salesman I would make the deposit, but I was not at all happy with doing so. I felt as though they had me in a situation where I would have to purchase a camper from them or lose a 1,000$. The salesman calls me the next morning and advised the PDI was actually done the day before and was ready (go figure). On arrival, I briefly looked over the camper in the rain and asked a few questions about operation. After dealing with the finance manager (unimpressed), I met the salesman in the showroom and he expressed some words of encouragement and wished me off. I was then outside by myself to hook up everything in the rain and 40 degree temps. When hooking up I noticed the battery covers were not secured and I did not know where the keys were to lock compartments. After a few minutes, a guy walked by and asked if I needed assistance and I told him yes and explained the issues. After several minutes, we finally got ever thing situated for travel. At no point did the salesman even offer to check in to see if I got hooked up. After arriving home and looking a little closer at the camper, I discovered that I traveled over 200 miles with both black and grey water tanks completely full of water. Additionally, the camper's Murphy bed was almost detached from the camper walls, the rear bed door gasket was detached in one area, the entry door was sprung due to improper closure with the door steps. I find it very hard to believe that the person(s) performing the PDI did not see these issues. I sent the salesman a text that evening informing him that I would be in touch with him on Monday to address my concerns with hope that he would respond back. As to date, I have not heard from anyone from the dealership. This was/has been the worst experience with purchasing a camper trailer. I will update my rating if anything changes, but from ratings here and elsewhere I doubt that will happen. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. The service department will destroy any positive experience you may have from purchasing your RV. Our 5th wheel has been in the there for 2 !/2 weeks with no end in sight. We took it in to add a 2nd A/C to the bedroom in which we were told it was in stock and could be done while we waited. It didn't/hasn't happened. The service rep has NEVER called me. I always have to call him, leave a message, wait for him to call me back, and then get the run around. The sales department was outstanding, but not sure if it is worth it now. read more

Purchased a special order Cedar Creek from Funtown RV...Gary K. Was my sales person and then he had to have a couple surgeries on his knee so I was handed off. They were very disorganized and it didnt seem like I had a file or they didnt talk to each other. I was traveling from CA to Cleburne to trade one in and,I was constantly contacted by different people to hurry and get there. I understand when someone is out but this was a real circus. When we finally got here it took them a week to contact me. Then that day it was a rush to PI the unit and the service person figured since we were full timers that we didn't need to know anything so they didn't cover half the stuff and then off to finance which I was told I had to get insurance that day no problem so I had the company send the forms to their office..I called Amy and she acted like I was bothering her. Once they got the $$$$ they didn't want anything to do with us. We were to pick it up the next week which I got a called that they didn't order the satellite so we had to wait. I called later that week and was told I was scheduled to be there at 11:30 that day. I told them no way. I was told to pick it up the next day. They were to place them next to each which they didnt. 8 hours later I asked to help hitch up and show me how to work the backup camera and I was trying to close the steps and they were stuck so Travis said they needed WD40 but he couldn't be bother to get some. We got back to the park and it was not cleaned by them and we had 6 issues so I called service on 3 separate times to this day no return call. Gary told me by email that Bart would call me. 3 weeks later no call. Funtown RV will not be a place I buy from or recommend. ...I had to contact Cedar Creek directly. ..they are helping me fix my issues and sent me the parts. Funtown RV is company that is run like a zoo where everyone only knows and care about the customer until they got your money. Wish I could give them negative 5 stars. read more

We purchased a used 2016 travel trailer in March. We discovered the door key missing upon delivery and was originally informed by the rep/manager that we would have to buy a new locking mechanism. I obviously would have no part in that, so the rep "quietly" loaned me his master key and ordered me a replacement key. I later returned the master upon receipt of the replacement key. That was issue #1. Issue # 2 began when we originally looked at the unit and I noticed the cover to the battery was not secured. I attempted to operate the electric jack and determined that the battery was dead. I pointed this out to the rep who informed me that this would be checked and replaced/repaired as needed. We purchased the unit and a month later I find that the once again, the jack/stabilizer would not work on 12v alone. I emailed the rep who somehow made me understand that I must have been trying to operate this incorrectly. It is now July, and for the first time in need to operate the jack on 12v and as you expect, will not work. I pull the fuse link and the battery, have it tested to find that the battery is bad. I call the rep who spoke with his manager and was informed that it is what it is and I will need to buy a battery. The cost of a battery is small in comparison to money spent however it is the principle. What I've learned after a few calls is these folks want these units off the lots and forget about it. Why would you not apologize, deliver what you promise and replace the battery? I commented that I did not expect a new battery, just what should come with the unit. The trailer is a 2016, wouldn't you think that a battery would last more than a year? How would you handle this if the unit was brand new and I returned it 4 months later? You would put a new battery in it. Not sure how true, however I do not think this is the rep's issue and belong's to the manager. It's a shame as I expect to replace this unit in a few years and these folks have lost my, as well as anyone else who ask me, business moving forward. Bought a new 2015 Palomino Sabre fifth wheel and had electrical problems first day I used it. Contacted my salesman Wendell Gray and got no help whatsoever. I ended up getting charged $440 to fix the problem on a brand new trailer. They do not do a very good check of trailers they sell and could care less about customer service once you buy it. Fun Town RV Clearburne, their sales department they bend over backwards, But their service department is horrible, we used our RV twice . The second time out our water tank fell out ! It's taken 3 months so far with scheduling an appointment and getting the repairs completed! They don't return your calls! Beware !!! read more

We came to Fun Town RV to purchase a fifth wheel September 30th which was to be our permanent residence for the foreseeable future while our home is being renovated with the intent to sell and we decide what we want to do next.. The sales person was great and we found one we loved. We were shown what the terms would be estimated at based on our credit. We decided to go ahead with the purchase and put quite a bit of money down. We were called the next day and told we were not approved for financing and our deposit would be put in mail that day. After 2 weeks of several calls, getting transferred to voicemails, and dealing with people who can't tell us anything about the status of our money we have not received it back yet. We still have the intention of buying a fifth wheel out right with cash after our home sale, we will not be coming to Fun Town RV based on this experience. We have had to make other housing arrangements which without that money has put us in a bind due to plumbing and electrical problems that have been discovered during our remodel. They are all over you when they are trying to make a sale but if your not approved then they immediately forget about you! I feel like they have essentially stolen my money. If we do not receive it back this week we will be taking further action. read more

High volume Equates to Poor Customer Service... Similar to high volume car dealerships, high volume RV dealerships are interested in pushing inventory than customer satisfaction. I had a terrible experience in the purchase of my travel trailer and was "forced' into one than I did want. I was showed limited models and was told by the salesman that slide-outs where out of my price range. Low and behold after I signed my paper work and waiting on a walkthrough I was walking around their main showroom I found a slide-out in the same price range. Here is the kicker when I tried to see if I could switch to the new trailer at the same price I was told that it could not be done because the paperwork had been submitted and they had been funded and nothing could be done. A week later I receive a call from the lender to confirm some items and I asked them if they could have changed the travel trailer and they stated that wouldn't have been an issue. So I feel like I was forced into this travel trailer to ensure they kept their volume requirements. Here is the other kicker, while trying to switch with finance I suggested that I just pay off the travel trailer I just purchased and then trade for the trailer I want. This is verbatim what the finance manager said to me: "Just like a new car, even though I had not driven the travel trailer off the lot, once I signed the paperwork the travel trailer is considered used and I would only get a used trade-in value." WHAT!? I did not even take possession of the trailer, but because I signed the paperwork it is a used trailer. Again, this is another example of a "high volume" dealer tactic. Finally, their main slogan on the website is "Nobody beats our prices guaranteed." Do your homework and just perform an internet search (Google or Bing) for your RV model. You will find numerous places with a cheaper price. Save and Print out these internet adds and take them to the salesmen at Funtown RV and watch the amount of excuses you will receive of why they "will not" match that price. This is a blatant example of false advertising, and they need disclaimers on their website (similar to the small text at the end of a car commercial) which they do not provide. Luckily, we have the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) with Truth in Advertising and Marketing laws to protect the consumer. I have filed a complaint with the FTC, and if enough people came forward who's low price guarantee was not honored by Funtown RV, a class action lawsuit could be filed against Funtown RV. One positive note, the service department (Bart and team) was extremely helpful and spent several hours getting my travel trailer hooked up, and took the time to instruct me on towing the travel trailer. The service department defiantly understands the meaning of "customer satisfaction." Maybe they should be moved to managing the company and running finance. In summary, if you are going to purchase an RV I would recommend shopping with the smaller dealerships first as you will receive a higher quality of customer service than a high volume dealer like Funtown RV. If you are going to purchase from Funtown ensure the RV you have chosen is the one you want because once you sign that paperwork it is yours. I personally decided to try another dealership, and they offered to give me the full purchase price for the travel trailer I purchased from Funtown, and worked with me to select the RV of my dreams. Thus, the competition, not Funtown RV, ensured the customer was "completely satisfied!" read more

We purchased a Forest River Toy Hauler (our second one from Fun Town) and I will say I will never recommend or do business with them again. The first was a 35 ft Hyper Lite toy Hauler and never had any problems with it. That is the secret to buying from them. The Second was a 44ft HLR Thunderbolt toy Hauler and now here is the secret. They will do almost anything to sale you one but once you sign the paperwork their true colors come out. First it is a $80,000.00 toy hauler and they delayed us picking it up. Then as that day came is was not cleaned inside or out and the trailer lights did not work. So the next day I went to pick it up and it was still dirty inside and out and it was new! I had to take delivery as we where heading to FL for my daughters wedding. Well, while in FL I had to fix four leaks and a few other issues. We spent two weeks in Fl and had a total of 15 issues (some minor) but on the way back the winter package fell out from the ran. So when I returned I took it into them for warranty repairs. (Good luck with that). They took about two weeks to repair and the process was not good. The bottom winter package was not repaired correctly, all they did was replace the isolation and bolt the cover back up. To my surprise when I got it home I was still missing screws and the front part was still hanging down to allow future rain to gather as you drive in rain. I am still waiting for three more warranty parts and God forbid some one return a phone call... I also went to complain to the serve department and the sales manager who said he would call me back but that never happened. I have to many complaints to mention, I am just giving those who are looking to buy a heads up. If I had to do it again I would have bought the Cyclone from a different dealer and hope to receive better treatment after the sale. Yes, I would have paid more for the Toy Hauler to get that better treatment and service. Good luck to all who read this and still purchase from them. Follow up to this post. It has been two weeks since they supposedly ship via ups some warranty items and still have not received them. We live only about 45 miles from Fun Town so I am guessing they are lost. Also according to Matt he is here to help and not sure with what. I sent him pics of the underbelly that was not repaired properly the first time and will only collect water in the future again. I know I am only one voice but I hope this makes one person change their mind about dealing there. Again, this RV is only 5 months old and to have these issues and more I did not mention is insane. Matt informed me I can say whatever I like about Fun Town that is my choice, well he is correct it is my choice not to recommend this business to anyone. It is up to you to listen or not. Not being from the area, Googled searched Forest River Dealer and seeing the great reviews, I called service to set appointment for service to be let down by being told you didnt purchase here, can't service your RV. Seriously who wouldn't want to get paid for warranty work?? Obviously the RV wasn't purchased here, need help and can't get any. Watch out folks, even if dealership is a dealer that carries a specific manufacturer line, such as Forest River mean you will be taken care of. Not the morale I was expecting from apparently a 5 star dealership! You certainly may make a great deal and have a wonderful salesperson, but where do you go after the sale and you aren't anywhere near the dealership you purchased originally for service/ warranty work???? read more

Guess what folks!!! Yet again more lies!! Just found out our trailer is almost belly deep in MUD in their service lot!! Was supposed to be picked up by the manufacturer over a week ago!!! What to do next... lawyer... perhaps... contact local news channels with everyone else who has problems with them I bet something just might get done!
