Road Bear RV Rentals

Road Bear RV Rentals

We've now rented from Road Bear twice for trips around 2-3 weeks long. Their rigs are in excellent…read morecondition and on the occasions where we did have an issue (there's always going to be some issue with an RV when you drive it for a few weeks), their customer service line and related support was great. We definitely plan to rent from them again!

Rented a RV 21 months ago B-WAC-2253177. The trip an RV was a disaster, but I never wrote a review…read moreabout it because Road Bear was going to do the right thing and give us a redo trip. Just called today to set up our trip and how lucky for me they "updated" there system and any old reservation from 2023 and back are no longer in the system. The trip started fine until we reached the RV park at 12am. No water hoses, sewage lines or TV cable for full hook ups, NOTHING. Next the slide pop out had trouble opening. Next the fridge stopped working and a strong smell of ammonia was coming from it, next the CO2 alarm started going off and never shut off. The alarm was so loud (and rightfully) so the RV park made us leave. We then had to rent a hotel for the duration of our trip. The 1800 roadside service number I called had me on hold for over a hour with finally no one to service us. This all sounds like the worst experience right? Yes, but I was told my account would be noted and a redo trip was appropriate. I didn't want my money back. I wanted exactly what they said they would do. Family trips are not easy and not something we can do every year, but 21 months later and a baby later we decided to have another go at RV'ing. I've rented before from Road Bear and every time we had a issue they solved it, but now with "The new system" I'm screwed? So when you rent from them babysit and double check their work, make sure everything is working and all equipment is ready and if you have any issues just know they will fight you now tooth and nail on their screw up thanks to the "new system". I was told by someone I was clearly bothering that an upper management person would reach out to tell me in a higher paid voice I'm SOL.

Angela was our salesperson, and she was absolutely amazing! She was super kind, patient, and genuinely cared. She listened to what we wanted, what we needed, and our budget. Since this was our first RV, we had a lot of questions, and she never once tried to upsell us or make us feel pressured. She kept in communication with us throughout the entire process and even checked in after everything was finished. You really can't ask for better customer service than that! Alex Noon in finance was also fantastic. Let's be honest paperwork is usually the most overwhelming part but he took his time explaining every single document. He never made us feel rushed, even when we asked him to go over a few things twice. Haha! Carlos, who did our service walkthrough, was incredibly informative. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and gave us helpful tips on the do's and don'ts of RV ownership. By the time we left, we actually felt confident that we could do this, and that meant a lot as first-time RV owners. Overall, our experience was wonderful from start to finish. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. I would absolutely recommend Blue Compass, especially this location, to anyone looking for an RV. You won't be disappointed! And if you stop by... tell them I sent you! See you on the rode! :)

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I brought my RV to Lazydays Las Vegas in March 2025 for…read moreseveral critical repairs--including sealing deteriorated body seams, fixing a crooked auto-leveling jack, diagnosing a gray/black tank leak, testing the battery system, and more. After months of silence, I was suddenly told in June that the location had been sold, was permanently closing for renovations, and that I had just days to retrieve my RV or it would be towed. I was also assured--just days before pickup--that all work had been completed. When I picked it up, only one issue (a broken vent fan) had actually been repaired. Every other item was either ignored, misdiagnosed, or falsely marked as complete. I was even charged for work that was never done--something Lazydays later admitted, but only refunded after I escalated the issue. The most disturbing part? A Lazydays corporate representative admitted in writing that the shop lacked time and resources to properly perform repairs due to the pending sale. Yet they still took my vehicle, charged me, and handed it back in worse shape than before. I'm a 100% disabled veteran and rely on my RV for housing and work. Lazydays showed zero accountability, misrepresented their services, and put my safety and livelihood at risk. I strongly urge others to avoid doing business with this company. If this is how they treat veterans and working professionals, I'd hate to see how they handle average customers. Note: This occurred at the Las Vegas location just before it closed, but reflects the conduct of Lazydays corporate and regional leadership who remain active in the company.

Left messages, texts and a lot of times no response or I'll call you in a bit....Nothing. Even called HQ in Tampa to get help. They did help as much as they could to get us answers. Finally fed up with everything, Lazydays said, "you can come pick it up Tuesday". After finally getting the amount due and getting there, no one was to be found, all in a meeting. 2 1/2 hours later, we finally see our RV. Shades were not put back up, had to wait to get that done. Second set of keys MISSING! We know where they were, got home searched the RV, no Keys. Searched our garage where other keys are kept NOTHING!!! Can't get into the under or lock it back up. Gas tank, LOCKED. Now after all of this we need to hire a locksmith to get us into everything and rekey. Long story short.....if you need something done ASAP, don't go here.
