Well I was invited to my cousins sons wedding and luckily had my GPS to get me to this location which actually isn't too far off the Pennyrile parkway. The farm is quite large and I noticed it was accommodating two weddings in one weekend. The one I was attending had an outdoor setup for the ceremony by a very beautiful lake. There was nice shade from the ample trees nearby as well. It looked like a beautiful place to get married. The great thing was the building for the reception is right here and there was ample parking too. There is a nice size space for tables and they had a nice area in the middle for dancing. The food for the rehearsal dinner was pasta and lasagna and I had some of both. The food for the wedding was pork chicken and three sides. All of it was pretty good for a catered meal. We had a good time and the bar area was a great set up as well. If you are in western Kentucky and looking for a farm wedding you should definitely check Burdoc Farms out.

This event was free for the general public and spectacular. They had colorful booths of different countries. Everyone looked gorgeous dressed in colorful or bejeweled costumes. The event was an explosion of color, music, art, international countries, children, and fun. I passed the info to lots of people but no one went. You got a passport and stamped at each country. The place was full of love, children, and art. The had an arts and crafts area for children and adults. I made a jeweled cherry blossom tree there. If you were hungry, they had food trucks outside and a food/ drink place inside. The food smelled delicious. I did not eat any though. There was non stop live entertainment from different countries on a stage. They also had a story time tent. I came later during the day, but the place was busy. If you have children, enjoy art, or love international festivals, I would strongly encourage you to go to this event next year. It is fun and free entertainment. The art work was very impressive. I love the Native American Indian art painted by a teenager named Juan. I wanted to buy a card or print of his painting of a Cherokee Indian on the Trail of Tears. I ate some food from Mexico-yum, talked to a beautiful girl in the Venezuelan booth, made a jeweled cherry blossom tree, and met a cool Russian artist designing tarot cards. I wanted to take a picture of a buck deer made of barb wire. My favorite booth was of Japan. It was the most beautiful and creative booth. I liked having a bunny origami made for me with my name on the back. Watching the lady draw in Japanese calligraphy and seeing beautiful women and children in kimonos were very beautiful and enchanting to me. All in all a spectacular day and mini adventure at 2019 Hopkinsville International Festival.

Note to self: Do not recommend starting your first day with the all over body conditioning workout. Haha. It's a great program to help you build strength, endurance, and... coordination!! lol I'm gaining confidence and stamina also, but I find myself really needing to focus on my balance and coordination while doing some of the exercises. It's a good thing using muscles that I didn't know were there or hadn't used in years. Doing some of the movements seem easy, but become challenging after a few reps or the first few seconds! lol Needless to say, I signed up for the month trial and also joined as a member after that month! I feel better and stronger (& sore needing recovery time) after each session. It's worth it for my overall health! This is the first location on Lowe's Drive next to a Korean Restaurant. Their times start at 4:30am on weekdays and as late as 6:30pm workouts Mondays through Thursdays. Closed on Sundays, but open for morning workouts on Saturdays! It's easy to find a time to go. I like the Sango location also. It's smaller and newer. I'll have to do a separate review for them! Hey! If you're thinking about it, please tell them that I sent you! One of my favorite running paths in the world! When I was a…read morelittle girl this used to be railroad tracks. We would get off the school bus and walk down the tracks to get home. Now it's a clean, shaded walking, running biking path. The city of Clarksville turned the old railroad tracks into a walking path with a bathroom. I usually start at the Mary's Oak parking lot entrance and run to the bathroom. It's exactly 2 miles out. There are clear distance markers along the path. There's another parking lot at the bathroom area. They have bikes you can rent there. I have been down further past the bathrooms and it's absolutely gorgeous that way. A couple of steep hills keep me off that part of the path. Have seen deer, bobcats and tons of birds and squirrels, Sometimes I have found cute painted rocks here as well. Bravo Clarksville!
