First time coming to Funbox and my child loved it! The bounce house pretty huge compared to a regular bounce house. There's 3 slides, inflated characters which are so cute! It appears clean and the staff is vacuuming constantly. You have to wear grip socks which are sold before entry. There is plenty of seating for those who will not go inside. They provide free lockers for your things. The place offers free arcade games which is pretty cool! Although it says 90 mins, I don't think they will ask you to step out. We only stayed for an hour as it gets very tiring. It is located in the Santa Anita mall, park close to Cheesecake Factory and Benihana. It is right in there as you enter; beside Lucky Strike & Dave & Busters. Overall, I highly recommend this place! read more

Went to Funbox with my family and had a really fun time. The whole place has a really energetic vibe and is great for families or groups just looking to have fun and be active. ::Experience:: You need to buy grip socks and they give you a wristband with your play time. Make sure to fill out the waiver before going in. They also have vending machines for snacks and drinks, and the cotton candy machine was really cool; you can pick a design and watch it get made. ::Customer Service:: I bought tokens for the arcade games, but the arcade games are actually free and the tokens are only for the claw machines. Aaron took the time to clearly explain everything to us and made sure we understood what happened with the tokens. We originally thought the machines were taking our money or broken. We appreciated that Aaron retuned the coins we lost in the arcade games. Brian also assisted us when one of the coins got stuck in a claw machine and fixed it quickly. Is a lot better and more fun than the ones that tour. I know Funbox does its tour, and we went to their Panorama City one, and it was not that great. The place was dirty and it was hot. This one works because it is clean, and it's a permanent location. Yes, it's smaller than the ones that tour but is still fun and has a lot to do for the kiddos. My kids can spend lots of time here and be extremely tired by the end of it. We came on April 4th, the day before Easter, and they had Easter egg hunts going on. They hid a bunch of eggs inside the inflatables, and people had to go find them. The kids had a blast doing this. The best part is that this place has a small arcade, and it is included in admission. The arcade games are free, and there are many of them, which is amazing. This place gets the golden noodle for fun. Time increments are 90 minutes, which is more than enough time. The place is kept clean, and all the staff were helpful and fun. It gets packed but is still enjoyable and fun. They try to help with crowds by having the time schedules, which works. They do this by wristbands, and each color represents your slot time. I had a blast and my kids had a blast. We're considering having my son's party here next. read more

We had our daughter's birthday party at Funbox Arcadia and had a wonderful experience overall! The staff was very friendly and helpful . Our host , I think her name is Kristy, help us to set up and was always checking in to see if we needed anything. This place provided a red cart to transport our party supplies, which was very thoughtful. We also loved that the party area already felt festive and fun, so we didn't need to bring many decorations or balloons. The entire facility was very clean and well organized. There were also a few pleasant surprises that made the day extra special. The mascot came by to take photos with our birthday girl and our family, and we received a beautiful acrylic photo keepsake with both pictures. My girl also loved the little goodie bag that mascot gave to her. The kids had an amazing time and didn't want to leave. I also like that there is a mini fridge in our party room so we could keep our popsicles frozen until the end of the party. Another thing I would like to mention, is this place didn't feel overly crowded or too noisy, even though it was a Saturday afternoon (maybe we were lucky that day) If I had a couple of things to add on, I would love to have a little more setup time for us before the party starts, since we're only allowed to arrive 15 minutes early. We also wished the mascot could have stayed just a little longer (until we finish the birthday song) Overall, we're very happy we chose Funbox Arcadia for our daughter's birthday celebration. Went here for my friend's little girls birthday party & had a fun time with our friend group! The huge bounce house was actually really fun & enjoyable even for us adults. The decor in the private room we rented for her birthday was so cute. Even had a little sign in front of the door! Super cute! They had a refrigerator in the room but did not work so that kinds sucked. Wish it had worked so we could have kept our sodas, food cold. The staff... they kinda have no clue what's going on in front of house lol we ran into soooo many problems just checking in for our party. The girl that checked us in last night was very slow, she might have been new because she seemed a little clueless as to what to do, she couldn't find the birthday girls name, she had my friend repeat her telephone number about 4 times til she finally got it & it clicked... very odd. She had them pay, when it was already covered so they had to get refunded! It was just a mess! They either need to train their employees a little better on how to do things around there & maybe be a little more friendlier to their guests. No one was extremely helpful. It was our first time there so we had no idea where the rooms were they were just like it's over there in the back to your left. So we had to go find it ourselves like a maze instead of being guided. I went to FunBox with my sons, aged 5 and 3, and met up with two of my kindergartener's friends and their respective parents one Saturday last month. I feel like I've been to most of the indoor playgrounds across greater L.A., and this one was particularly impressive, if not without its annoyances. First among these was that it was kind of hard to find, especially for one parent dealing with two children. I wasn't surprised that it was in the Santa Anita Mall, where I'd been once before for a birthday party at the now defunct Jump 'n Jammin (I suspect Funbox took over that space, as it basically serves the same purpose). But it was hard to figure out where to park, and I had to walk quite a bit before I got to FunBox. All of us were late, in fact, which was unfortunate, as our tickets only let us in between 11:00 and 12:30. The place was quite busy, but it was easy to show our tickets and walk in, and the kindergarteners promptly disappeared into the giant box of fun. We grown-ups found a table to put our stuff down and hang out. The centerpiece of the play space was an enormous inflatable structure, far beyond the scope of any bounce house I'd ever seen. It looked cool and fun to explore, a deep little city block of safe play zones. My older boy had a blast going through it with his friends, and I didn't see him for long stretches at a time. My three-year-old, on the other hand, was afraid to go in, and cried vehemently when I tried to carry him inside, in the hopes that he'd see that it was interesting and not in the least bit scary. He screamed--weirdly clear-eyed for a crying child--"Why did you take me when I said 'no'?" He hung out with the grown-ups instead, and bopped around the arcade games near the seating area, which were, thankfully, free to play. A few things were not included with the price of admission, and I successfully declined to buy him cotton candy from the crazy cotton candy machine. When 12:30 rolled around, we left to get lunch, feeding the kids at Noodle St. when we missed our check-in window at Din Tai Fung (I recommend getting on the waitlist as soon as you arrive at FunBox, then allowing yourself a healthy ten minutes to walk across the mall). The Santa Anita mall is pretty far from us, and it took over an hour to get home, but we made a day of this FunBox outing. Both of my kids have requested to go back, oddly enough, fear and fascination being close allies for a three-year-old. I'd like to take them again, in part so I can check out that daunting inflatable myself. read more

I went to my cousin's birthday and this place was just ok. Very small inside and in all the rooms. Staff is very pushy my getting you out of there before your time is up. Very few jumpers. But they have a blow in the dark jumper and T-shirts and dicks you get when you jump which is cool. I will probably never go back again. Very well situated in Arcadia mall so it's very convenient. It's colorful and lots of machines. The kids love jumping around. But it's very very very hot. Even when you're not jumping and watching, there's not enough AC on a cool day. If you have small kids there's a lot of big kids so a bit dangerous. There's a small kid section but big kids will go in it too. There's not enough tables and chairs for parents to wait around if you're not in a party in the back. They do provide socks but you'll need lots of water to cool off read more

My two kids and and their friend ages 7 and 9 were at Funbox from 3:30-5pm today. A group of three teens were very aggressive with them. They cursed at our kids, physically pushed them off an area where they wanted to play and kicked their friend. The employee who was in the play area was staring at his phone while this was happening. When my kids and their friend went up to the staff member, the rules were not enforced and the staff member told my kids to just stay away from them. I spoke to the front desk staff member and he never asked if the teens were still there nor did they ask for details. He just said "thanks for letting us know." Basically, this was another staff member who was not interested in enforcing rules. The staff does not pay close attention to unsafe and aggressive behavior. The staff also does not enforce rules. Their lax attitude will result in someone getting hurt. I do not recommend Funbox. read more

Birthday parties are always fun-- but for parents who are setting up, tearing down, planning.. it can be very stressful. FUNBOX made our special day SO EASY! The only thing I was stressing about was when to do cake and presents, but FUNBOX even had that time set aside and planned into our schedule! The character came out to sing with us and they even gave her a gift of her favorite movie (KPop Demon Hunters)-- which I thought was the sweetest thing ever! The glow in the dark was super cool-- all of the parents were on there in awe and it was so nice to see them have fun jumping as well! Great place for both young and old. Celebrated my lil cousin bday here and I was not quite happy. The place was not that clean or tidy all around. I did not like the set up of the private bday rooms and how far it is to find it. The rooms are insanely small making it hard to breathe, and everyone was pretty uncomfortable. The Customer service was not that great in my opinion and the rushed us. Only thing I like is the location at the Santa Anita mall and the shirts they gave for party goers. read more

We threw a birthday party here and funbox was fantastic! The booking process was easy. We're able to drop off our decorations the day before the party and the staff were able to decorate for us. The Funbox Staff made the party set up so easy for us! The tables had balloons centerpieces, table cloth and decorations already set up! They supplied lots of water and juices in the fridge. There's also enough space to store your items in their fridge. The tables already came with cups, utensils, plates and napkins. When it was time for cake, the funbox mascot came with a thoughtful present. The birthday theme was gudetama and the party planner gave the birthday girl a gudetama plushie. The kids had fun even though we wish we were given more jumping time. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a birthday parties or some casual jumping fun :) read more

Took my 3 year old toddler around noon on a weekday. Was not expecting to see so many older kids at this time which was a bit disappointing since they can be brutal. Establishment was clean but I did have issues with locating it inside the mall, ( it's right in front of the food court) overall would recommend , I would've just loved a young kids hour or something more accommodating to the you get kids. Such a great place to zone out as a parent. You can just purchase the time and then have your kids just get rid of all their energy so they can sleep better at night. The jump house itself is super clean. I will say expect your kids to come out sweaty and dirty. Like my kids bath water every time we come here is black. You do have to make sure to bring grip socks or you have to purchase it from them. One thing they can improve on is getting their lines more organized and the staff more trained in accommodating a huge rush of people. One time when I went, I felt like each staff member was telling me different things. It got confusing.
