Fun dress up with props and runway for the kids.

Decided to take our 6 year old and 1.5 year old. You basically sit in 4 different rooms, listen to the staff rep and then you create craft or crayon/marker with your child. Here's my top tips to visiting this place: 1. Make sure each kid has an adult to help them, the staff isn't hands on with the kids or assists them. 2. Mom's - do not bring a heavy bag, consider a lighter backpack or a hands free bag option because there's no area to leave your things while you're walking from room to room. 3. If you have little ones, bring easy to clean up snacks. You can purchase snack items inside too. 3. Be super careful with the ink when you make markers, they are hard to clean off. Also! You get a bag to keep all the stuff you make along with fun stuff to take home. Our son loved that part lol! Lots of parking, snacks and trinkets to buy. There are restrooms and it's spacious. Learning about their business history & how they make their markers and crayons was interesting, I enjoyed our rep tour. There's no place to hang out outside as it's a busy street and the location is not a super attractive walking area. Overall, very unique and enjoyable for the kiddos.

The teachers / staff here are amazing and patient. Overall, I took a 3 year old & my husband- the activities were pretty cool, but not really for toddlers. There is a a lot of mechanics/ science taught & their attention span doesn't mesh well. If you have a middle aged child, this is a perfect experience because they're able to learn about the concepts and processes of machinery etc. I wouldn't go back unless my child was older. There was a crayon making experience with a molded / holiday shaped crayon (pumpkin), we made 2 markers each , also created these transparent filmed crafts that represent how colors can be blended + create a new color. After that, there was a painting experience with washable body paint & washable body crayons. After, the kids can walk on the runway , which was cool but didn't really make sense. Overall, the kids clearly don't care and just do what is fun lol. I also saw a little snack bar and gift shop available. It does suck that parents get charged full price even if they don't want to participate with craft making , but since we had to pay fully price we partook in the crafts too. I understand that they need their money, but it should at LEAST be discounted if a parent only wants to supervise / assist their kid(s).

Awesome place. My family and i had a great time. My 7&8 year olds loved it. My husband and I even had fun too. Definitely a great experience to do at least once. I would recommend bringing children who would be able to sit/listen & follow directions as the activities on the tour are all hands on. At the end of the tour, they have a free play area for snacks and costume dress up which was great to relax and unwind before leaving.

Great experience, about 2 hours will suffice, recommend for ages 4 and up. Staff was great and even the adults will enjoy.

My first time here and it was such a fun experience. My nephew had a field trip here and I was able to go with him. I've never been here, so I didn't know what to expect, but after I found out what you can do here, my inner child was excited. I like how there are different areas where you learn/watch what you will be doing. There is a step by step video they show you so you know what to do. I was with my niece and I got to help her make markers and crayons. Definitely recommend as a fun learning experience for your kids.

Hello, is this place suitable for a 9 year old's birthday? All the pics seem to be of young kids and I didn't want her to be bored. Are there activities catered for the older kids? Thank you

I'd say the place is more appropriate for kids up to age 6, max 7. It's neat but there isn't much to do for older kids and the activities are very short, which is great for younger kids with short attention span.

Is this place good for 2 yo?

Hi, thanks for asking. Lucky Art Crayonology welcomes children of all ages. But I would say children over 3 years old will be more familiar with the Do-it-yourself (DIY) contents. Thank you!!

Why are adults and kids the same price? What if adults don't want to participate? Why do you charge the same amount of fee?

the reason why adults and children are the same price because it is a small company and really when you get into the activity rooms the adults like to do the DIY more than the kids this is someone's lively hood if you can't pay for both you have to… Read more

FINALLY REOPENED!! They been through a lot since their opening and it was worth it!…read more We went to their Vista location a few weeks ago and it was amazing (see my review for Vista) and the Rancho location was even better. The lines to get in last weekend was literally out the door. It felt like I was waiting to get into a club LOL Rancho is about 27,000 sq ft of kid focused activities. A lot of their set up was similar to Vista but there are things that I liked better at the Rancho one. First let's talk about pricing as that is super important. It's $30 for the full day and ins and out privileges are allowed. We went during their reopening weekend and admission and parties were 50% off. So I def had to book my little one's party. Their snack bar is so reasonable priced. I have been to other indoor playgrounds and snacks are so expensive where a can of soda was $5. Secondly, the play structures, interactive actives and jumpers are huge. The jumper was so big that it had a basketball court, climbing apparatus and mini obstacle course inside (much bigger than Vista). The multi level play structure had a basketball/soccer court inside, touch screen projection video game and many slides ( I count at least 4). The toddler area had a ball out and slide and had this spaceship where it would drop balls into the ball out. This is where all the kiddos were cause it was so fun. In the toddler area, there was a mini jumper so the toddlers could also enjoy a jumper and be safe from the bigger kiddos. Oh! There was a trampoline in the toddler area too! Overall I'm still really impressed with Play City and can't wait to go back. As the summer is coming and staying away from outside playground while not impacting play time...Play City is the answer. Ninja Factory is an indoor playground for older kiddos should be opening in 3-4 weeks. Same owners so you know it's going to be great!

I've literally been waiting for this place to reopen since the original grand opening…read more First of all the bathrooms were super clean. And the AC actually worked. If you're a parent, you already know that alone is a win. It was busy, but not the kind of busy where you're stressed the whole time. My son was still able to run straight to all the fun spots and actually try everything without waiting forever. That made such a difference. I did overhear a parent frustrated that they charge for infants (0-11 months). Parents can come in free to supervise, which is nice, but you do have to pay if you plan to jump. We went during a 50% off weekend, so two hours at half price felt like a total mom win. Also they allow outside food, which I honestly love. Someone had an entire box of Costco pizza, and I saw another parent with Uber Eats McDonald's. No overpriced snack-bar pressure, just bring your own food. I've been going back and forth about the membership... but $54.99 a month (with one buddy pass) and $89.99 for VIP just feels a little steep for our budget right now. Maybe if they run a special or adjust pricing. Overall though we had a really good time and we'll definitely be back.

I like that it's not too much busy here, usually under 8 kids, which is good. Im afraid of those playgrounds in the mall, way too crowded; not safe or fun at all. I like how clean /organized the staff keep this place, they always organize the toys that the kids are throwing around, and they are all very nice and kind to children, such as Citaly, super nice, which is another point I'd like to come back again and again. It's quite spacious and there are just such a variety of activities for kids, from playing in a ball pit, to stacking random foam blocks, to playing in an area filled with random electronic entertainment (like mario kart and coloring fish), to actual play area with slides and padded obstacles. Even after seeing some of the lower reviews, I still think it is relatively clean considering the amount of traffic the weekend or evening may bring. I didn't really see anything that was broken or not working, and even when the mario kart system bugged out and was on a default screen, a staff member quickly did a reset and got it back into working order within 10 minutes or so. A consideration to be made is the fact that not all the parents are attentive with their kids, so there were definitely some kids that are just disrupting other kids playing or being obnoxious/rude. It's inevitable but also makes it feel like some parents literally just let their kids do whatever with little supervision, knowing that they are within the indoor playground. For example, my 1 year old was sitting on the padded carousel, and an older kid (at least 6 y.o.) jumped into the middle of the carousel and started dancing around wildly, which would've been fine until he almost fell on top of my much smaller child. It should also be noted that the area was marked for 2 y.o. or younger, but there's pretty much no enforcement of the space. Otherwise, it's a really cool spot for kids to burn a few hours and I still think it's remarkable that they fit so many different things to do in the same area.
