I enjoy taking my kids here because it's just the right size and not overwhelming for my special needs son. I first came here during my friend's daughter's birthday. I loved the set up and all that the place provided for the party (cute table set up, pizza etc). One thing that really stuck out to me was how my special needs son was not overwhelmed or overstimulated despite the kids and noise compared to other play areas we've been to. I took my kids again this past weekend and they had a great time. Overall, I like how it's not too big that I can still sit and relax while keeping an eye on my kids. It's also very toddler friendly. There is a mini coffee station for us tired parents (lol) and snacks for purchase. You can totally bring your own food though and eat while the kids play. Play and Beyond Fun Zone is always a pleasure to take our four and two year old in for some indoor play time. The actual playground is perfect for smaller kids who can play safely and enjoy all the things an indoor playground should have, and also has a game room for bigger kids to play around in too. Whenever our 16 year old tags along with my wife he enjoyed playing the arcade games they have. It's always clean, plays fun music, has fun lighting, dining tables for lunch whenever we bring McDonald's for the kids, and has restrooms that are kept up nicely! The staff working at Play and Beyond are always truly personal and friendly. If I could give this place six stars I would, just because every time we go our kids have such a wonderful time. It's always nice knowing we could have an indoor playground where our littles can frolic around without us constantly having to make sure they're okay. What an amazing find so close to our house! The lady upfront is very helpful and has built a wonderful little place for young kids to enjoy. This is a hidden gem in Azusa. I came across it while looking for somewhere indoor to take my toddler to play. He absolutely loves it here. It is small but offers so much to do for the littles. There are two giant jungle gyms - both have slides, one has a trampoline and the other a ball pit. There is a toy room and ride on cars. My favorite thing is that is it so clean. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their business and keeping it looking nice. There are tables for the adults with phone chargers. It's a great place to take your little ones to play. It's small enough that you can sit and relax and see them from anywhere in the room. The entire place is child friendly so no need to worry! read more

My husband and I found Play and Beyond Fun Zone here on Yelp when we began to look at indoor playgrounds to host our daughter's 5th birthday. It was not only exactly what we had in mind but it even exceeded our expectations. Not only does it have 2 awesome play structures (complete with a trampoline AND a ball pit) but we also loved that it has a room for infants/toddlers as well as an attached game room with air hockey, foosball, and some arcade games. To top it off: it is so clean! I would even say it's the cleanest indoor place I have been to. When we met Diana she explained to us that they not only love hosting parties but that they also take care of everything so that we as parents get to show up and just enjoy the special day. She wasn't kidding, we didn't have to stress about anything at all, they handled EVERYTHING. Leading up to the big day I had some questions and no matter how many times I called Diana was always super friendly and responsive. We showed up on the day of the party and we were blown away by how amazing everything looked. The decorations, the table settings, the cake, and even the music were on theme and our daughter was beside herself with excitement. The party went so smoothly and we all had a wonderful time. The adults were able to sit, relax, and visit while the kids had a blast running around, playing, and eating. Not only did Play and Beyond Fun Zone handle setup but they also took care of the cleanup! The whole thing was so stress free and so well done, we cannot thank them enough for such a perfect day helping us celebrate our sweet girl. We will definitely be back, our daughter is already asking when we can go play again. For being on the smaller side for an indoor playground, Play and Beyond Fun Zone is a wonderful indoor playground with lots to offer. It's larger once you get inside with two large two story play gyms, an arcade room, rideable toys, trampoline, slides, TV that was playing Disney clips, playroom for smaller kids, and two bathrooms. They offer included amenities like free coffee, candy, and the arcade games are free to play as well. The owner here was very kind and took great care of us. It was our first time going to an indoor play gym, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I called before we went to see what age is recommended for their play gym. Was answered by a lady, most likely the owner, and was told, it is good for 9months to 13 years old. No reservation needed, 2 hours limit, and you need grippy socks. If you don't have it, can buy from them for $3/pair. 2 adults are free per kid. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was empty. Maybe because they are kind of new (opened in 02/2023)? Regardless, it's okay, since we have the place to ourselves along with our friends. By the time, some other parties showed up, we were about to leave. We all had fun. They also offer free coffee, if you ever need it. Very clean and nice. Definitely will be back. They have 2 restrooms, but only one has a diaper changing station. The only thing I recommend is to install another diaper changing area in the other restroom, so don't need to wait for just that one restroom. read more

We are so glad that we found this place on Yelp. We came when there was a private event but the lady let us in shortly after it ended at 4pm. They were super apologetic for having us wait for just a few minutes. Checked in was fast and easy. $20 per kid with complimentary coffee/tea! Everything inside is still fairly new with the indoor playground looking like it's gently used and clean. The hand drawn pictures on the wall and Disney music and videos made the place pleasant and inviting for all. Only criticism is that since the place is new, there's not that many kids around for our kids to play with. I'm sure that won't be an issue once words get out about this place. This is my ideal playground. My nephew is 2 and I was trying to figure out how to tire him out. I'm pretty grossed out of public playgrounds. A friend promised this place to be clean and boy was it clean!! It is very toddler friendly. It was $20 for 2 hours but they are not strict and even let us stay pass our time. If you buy a package it'll be $15 per 2 hours. There were plenty of seating and we brought our own snacks and drinks. The lady at the register was very friendly and answered all my questions. Such a fun place for my 1.5 year old twins! Everything is laid out nicely with great viewpoints for parents to watch or join in. I loved that there was a nice section to sit without feeling like you were a mile away from the action. Everything was very clean and neat and most importantly entertaining for my kiddos. It was all stuff you don't typically have in your own home and well with the money. The staff was also so so friendly and sweet. The ONLY down side was that it was hot. We went first thing in the morning and it was easily a miserable 95 outside and it felt like the AC just couldn't keep up or most likely was just turned on for the day. The videos and pictures don't do the place justice. It's bigger! There's a separate room just for the little littles, a room for the teens! And the teens and adults can play with their kids! This was like my second or third time here. The location itself isn't bad. It is sort of hidden at the end of a plaza. Parking is decent. It is a smaller play center and whenever we go it's never crowded so I don't see that being an issue. As far as the service goes, I don't recommend this place. It's supposed to feel like a safe space for your kids to roam around and play. Not here. The lady at the front desk is rude. At least greet your customers with a hi and smile when they walk in. I immediately saw the difference in how she treats her "favorites". When we walked in she had a b face on with an attitude it was pretty awkward, when her "favorites" walked in a bit after us she was allllll smiles and giggles and even talking to their child, when she hasn't even glanced or said a word to my child. Aren't you in a kids business? Word of advice, engage with ALL your customers, both the parents AND the kids. Then she tried to stop us and tell us in a rude way about our socks how they weren't grip socks. That just already put a bad taste in my mouth I was close to getting my money back and leaving, but I stayed because my child really wanted to play. So we go inside and my child goes off to play. I guess they had a separate room for the smaller babies, which they didn't have before the last time we went there. The last time we went that door was closed. So while my child is playing with one of the baby toys that was outside of the room, not once but TWICE, this lady comes after my child snatched the toy from him almost scolding him telling him not to play with the baby toy inside the ball pit, then she comes again and tells him not to play inside the jump area. As any parent, no parent wants to see that nor will take that lightly. Her excuse was that she "didn't want him to get hurt". Well there's a different and better way to approach that instead of scolding and snatching from other parents kids. That just makes HER look bad. THEN CLOSE THE BABY ROOM DOOR OR PUT UP A SIGN NOT TO TAKE THOSE TOYS OUT OR PUT A SIGN OF AGE RESTRICTIONS!!!! That's their responsibility and she literally came after my child two separate times to SCOLD him "don't do that" and "don't play with that there". How are we supposed to know when they don't even have signs anywhere?? At least let the parents aware if she sees that so the parents can redirect their own kids. Get out of here lady!!! Who do you think you are? After the second time I seen that I grabbed my son and walked the f out. That was $20 down the drain for a bad experience and not coming back again. I don't see how ANY parent will sit there and be ok with that type of treatment??? Do better!!! UPDATE- RESPONSE TO THE BUSINESS OWNER: No you weren't "kindly" reminding us, you were insisting rudely. And no my child was NOT engaging in "dangerous behavior" like you just said. Oh please. You're full of it. Stop making excuses for your unkind and unprofessional behavior. You came and grabbed the toy away from my child in a mean way and slammed it somewhere else saying to play there. You were MEAN. My child even told me he felt a type of way and he even felt that you were being mean to him. You don't just take away toys from kids and slam it somewhere else and ordering them to do things your way. There's a proper way to go about things and what you did was highly unprofessional and uncalled for. I had to step in and grab my son and leave. You were also standing around chit chatting with your "favorites" and just going after my child, like you have something against him or something? We've been to pretty much all other indoor playgrounds and never once felt violated and mistreated like the way we did when we were at your business.
