I took our 2000 Dodge Dakota to several big name collision repair centers and they had huge estimates and seemed uninterested and were obviously just in business to gouge insurance companies. One conversation with Gary, and I knew I had finally found the right shop. First off, Gary's shop is clean, there's not a bunch of junk and garbage all over the place. Also, Gary himself took care of us from start to finish. His estimate was entirely fair and nearly HALF of what the others were charging for the same work! We picked up our Dodge today and WOW! I can't believe it's the same truck that barely crawled onto his lot. He and his team did an amazing job, matching the paint, replacing the passenger door, repairing the fender, the trim etc. The truck was washed, vacuumed and even smelled nice. To make a longer story short, I took my 1968 Camaro to Wally's speed shop to get some work done…read more After inspecting my car I was hit with a $5,500 estimate, to which I agreed to pay, 6-13-18. (Proof below). Two months later I was sent an invoice for $6,700. Owner of shop cited extra work that needed to be done as the reason. So I went in to pick up my car with $5,200 cash and paid the rest on my debit card. My car was dirty, had loose wires hanging by the pedals that I had to tuck myself, the front tires rubbed at full lockout due to new rotors in the front. I noticed a dent on my hood that was caused by the nut on the air cleaner not being tightened down. And worst of all, not a single lugnut was torqued down, I verified and torqued them all after one was found on the ground next to the tire after I brought the car home. I called the owner and told him I wasn't happy about going way over budget for such shotty work. He told me he would make it right but never did. I left a less than impressive review on the Facebook the other day and the owner decided to argue with me and ultimately told me that he only charged me $5500 instead of the $6700 I actually paid. Even as I sent him the emails and txt messages from when the work was completed. He also came up with every excuse in the book as to why the lugnuts were loose, And why their work was so bad. This business took me for a ride, charge me premium prices, only to pocket some cash. And lie about it later. If you value you car, or your pocketbook. Stay away from this business. When I called to ask what the part replacement would cost, I was told, "It would be parts & labor." So I would be CHARGED TWICE for the same problem - which they never fixed in the first place.
