It's always a fun night at funny bone! I love how the vibes are relaxed. You can watch a comedian and still hangout with your friends. The comedians are right there up close with you. For food, the quesadillas are great. We also loved the buffalo dip. The fried mushrooms were not our favorite. The s'mores cake was an 8/10. It looked amazing and I loved dipping the graham crackers in the chocolate and marshmallow. The cake portion was a little dry tho. Drinks were perfect. This last time we visited I will have to say really didn't help me like it at all. Parking used to be free with validation. Now it's just a discount and you have to pay online via. QR code app. Which isn't the venue's doing it's the Pointe's fault but maybe the venue could start to push back on that. Also, in this most recent experience our server must have just com from his smoke break because I was sure I was smoking with him when he took our order. Then no matter how many times we tried to get his attention to order more he didn't make eye contact or try to help us. When we finally did get another drink order he brought the wrong drink and then when I returned it he also then had put it on the bill of our table mates (note you'll share tables with people you don't know unless you buy a whole 4 or 6 top). Plus grat is auto added and like I know the server needs to make a living but I hate being forced into a tip that isn't deserved. read more

Usually the food is really good. I enjoyed lots of food here, even pork rinds. They were recently bought by a new company & their name changed. I always/usually have to sit with other people, only once or twice I got a table by myself next to a wall in a weird position near the front. I ordered the burger last time & it was DRY! It was overcooked and dry, no flavor, no ketchup, no server to request any. The pepper tasted good & I used that to try to swallow the burger, so dry.... Came to see a show with my friends on a weeknight. The staff was very efficient and got us seated quickly. We ordered a round of drinks and appetizers to share. We had the shrimp, buffalo chicken dip, fried pickles, and the spinach dip. We really enjoyed the buffalo chicken dip and the pickles the most. We had to beg 3 different people to get silverware and napkins. Once the show started, it was a little hard to get a drink refill, but that did happen. The food was very reasonably priced. Came here to watch Steve O do his show. Not allowed to take any photos while here but Stevo did allow for photos at the end of his show. You do get seated on a first come first serve basis so I would definitely recommend getting their early if you want good seats. They also have a menu at the table that you can order drinks and food prior to the show start. Your server will come back around if you need any refills during the show so that was nice. Attended a recent event here with a friend and had a solid evening out! We started the afternoon nearby at one of the many restaurants / bars at Pointe. From there we headed over on time for 'door open' and the line moved fast with several employees checking tickets and providing wrist bands. A host took us to our seats near the mid point of the seating area and not far from the main stage. They do offer food and drinks for those who want to do it all in the same spot! I had a glass of wine while my friend opted for one of their cocktails. The venue itself has been around for a bit, and despite a name change, it has remained roughly the same. They have a stage in the center against the wall with seating surrounding. If you have a smaller group you'll likely be sat with others you may not know as they do have communal seating to fit more patrons in. The show, sound and lighting were well handled and the staff moved food and beverage orders quickly. Once the show was over they moved around with handheld devices to close out tabs and usher everyone back out to the main areas, which include a bar and general holding / standing area. They do offer discounted parking on signage as you exit, so be sure you don't miss that if you parked in the garage! Overall: A Solid venue for a fun show! Poor selections for women who don't want a greasy, gas-filled meal, How about a wine tray for one? You'd have to try really hard to have a bad time here. Weeknight, weekend, the talent varies. I love seeing lesser known acts who have a really polished set, vs some really well known people who are often trying new jokes for the first time! The food is actually really good! Servers are always nice, in my experience they always pace themselves so that you are offered about 2 drinks throughout the show. My only negative comment was this past Wednesday the woman at the hostess stand had everyone upset! She was rude, the power trips kept coming with her telling people to move two steps to the left for no reason, and telling staff to send people to the back of the line if their partner had to go to the restroom. I've been coming here for several years and and the staff have always been helpful. You can even score discounted tickets sometimes if you sign up for their emails. You can order drinks and/or food. Service can take long sometimes but if you're having a good time it's hard to notice. The venue has plenty of seating but still small enough that you can get a good view no matter where you sit. I've been here on a few occasions and the experience is generally the same. Comedians vary in terms of talent, but most recently we came for a specific human- not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The food is standard bar food, nothing to write home but it did come out hot. The pretzels and beer cheese came with 3 long soft pretzels that resembled an Olive Garden breadstick, but a pretzel. Pickle chips were part of their rotating menu and they were good, best eaten hot. They have a good variety of drinks to choose from. My only issue with this last visit was that our server seemed to skip our table a few times when we would have ordered another round. Finally got his attention but the reorder was wrong. More importantly, there was no two item minimum to watch the show, as you see in other comedy clubs. The venue is located upstairs of the entertainment plaza, and had awning for coverage while waiting outside to get in. We came in for our office Christmas party and had a less than ideal experience. We came to see Steven Ho after having dinner. The primary issues we had were with staff and beverages. Seating is first come first served. We all sat at tables one employee directed us to. Some of our group sat at the wrong tables. She tired to direct us but was very unclear just saying "no this one." And gesturing to the entire room as if we knew what she meant. Another employee came over and told us we had to move again. We didn't understand what he said and he got frustrated. Getting seated was confusing and staff seemed stressed even though we were on time. We ordered some beverages and they were frankly disgusting. We got dirty martinis and I couldn't even drink mine. It was like straight cheap gin with a few olives. I took one sip and couldn't bear it, which says a lot since I love gin and dirty martinis. There was a lady during the show that was clearly intoxicated. She kept yelling out during the comedy routine. She was distributive for nearly the entire show and they only kicked her out right towards the end. That situation should have been managed better. You have to wait to be seated, it is first come first serve for the tables and if you want to sit with friends everyone has to be there all together. We got seated with two other ladies and was provided drink and food menus, we each ordered a drink I got an alcohol drink that came in. So this is interesting. I arrived at 6:30 which was when the doors were scheduled to open because I was wearing heels and wanted to walk straight to my table. However, I was the 10th person in line and was not expecting to still wait almost 15 mins before the loved started moving. They first came through to make sure everyone had their IDs and provided a wristband. Then as we came in, they checked our bags and scanned our tickets, then offered us a bottle of water. I do love they walked us to our seats instead of it being open seating and I am guessing that is to control the table settings. I was solo so sat at a solo or odd group number table. They offered two specials for dinner that evening which consisted of slow roasted beef short ribs with mashed potatoes and veggies or creamy Tuscan chicken served over penne pasta with fresh basil and sun dried tomatoes. Yummy, right? Yeah, that's what I thought so I went with the short rib. It was surprisingly tender and the mashed potatoes were good as well. I quickly packaged half of it at because I knew I could devour all of it lol Service was good and I enjoyed the show with playful banter amongst those at my table. Was in town with friends (girls-trip) and attended a show at this establishment. We were seated up front and was hoping that we didn't end up being the "butt" of some of the jokes. We went to Funny Bone for the first time to watch Nacho Redondo, a Venezuelan comedian. He was great! Not exactly the kind of show we were expecting, but it was still really good. When we got there, there was already a small line, but luckily, the staff had us wait inside, which was awesome because it was super hot outside. Once the doors opened, the line moved quickly. They had two staff members checking IDs. As soon as we checked in, we were offered water, which we weren't expecting but were very thankful for. We ordered fries, but they weren't that great. They have some great comedians come there. They also have a fairly big food menu and drink menu for a comedy show however they pack you in there so tight. TL;DR: Intimate venue, good acoustics, decent show prices, friendly staff, food is pretty good but a little pricey, they validate parking, good rotation of comics. This venue is a nice, intimate location. It's a little in the small inside, but the trade off is that it provides a more intimate experience. This is my first time here, but based on the ads for the other upcoming comedians at this venue, I saw several other names that I recognized. The acoustics were also very good, which is great for me because I have a bad ear. The food was pretty good. It was a little on the pricey side, but obviously the food isn't the main attraction for this venue. It is nice that there is friendly table service throughout the show so your glass doesn't have to stay empty during the show! I also really appreciate that they are very straightforward about the 18% gratuity that's already included on all bills, rather than some places who don't tell you in advance. Here, they have it noted prominently in the menu and even on the scrolling screens on the TVs. The transparency is greatly appreciated! We ordered the Buffalo chicken dip which was quite tasty, and the General Tso's Chicken Sandwich, and the battered fried fish sandwich. The dip was great, and the sandwiches were decent. I'm coming for the food next time. The comedy is good too! We usually have to rush out of the house after work to make it here so we can't really have a meal before hand (at least for the early show), but rest assured if you're hungry, there's food. Food wise, the fried chicken is crispy and delicious. The club sandwich will fill you up. The sweet potato fries were some of the best ever. And the buffalo chicken dip, or more importantly, the crackers that came with it were so F'ing good that Jeeves is ready to quit his Ask Jeeves gig because I ask daily "Where can I get me some Improv Crackers?" Comedy is subjective, but I will say the staff is pretty good. They still have a camera crew running around snapping photos for sale like it's 1985. I'm not sure how well they do, but they do keep doing it every time, so people must be buying the photos. In the digital world, it's nice for the nostalgia of an actual photograph (or an inkjet printout with a shiny cover). They're just way overpriced for a memorable photo. We saw a few comics here and enjoyed every show. This last time we saw Kevin James Thorton and up until a few days before the show, I though we were seeing Kevin James. What's next? Chris Rock McGillicuddy? Jerry Seinfeld Smith? Louis Seakay? Mitch Hedberg Jones? Daniel Tosh Tiger? John Mullaney Thorton? Anyway, even someone you don't know can be funny too (unless they're driving a white van and ask you to help them find their lost dog). Yes, it can be an expensive night out, but you can eat beforehand and have a few beers and get out cheap. PBR Pounders are only $5 so it's possible to get out for a decent price. They also have a $9 soft drink which offers refills, but with the amount of tables the staff takes care of, you'll probably only get 1 refill (maybe 2 if you suck down the first one quickly and get the attention of the server). A small group of us came Sunday night to see Craig Conant. The venue is an intimate place with the two layers of seating and high tops in the back. There's pretty decent view from every seat (I've been here several times so I can vouch for that). They pack the house so be prepared to be comfortable with your neighbors. If you're a party of two, you'll likely be sharing a table with others (not in your party). I personally think it's a fun way to meet new people but I know not everyone loves that so worth a mention. The food is decent. We had salads, shrimp appetizer and quesadilla. I left full and satisfied. There is a waitress assigned to each section that will take your order. The bar located just outside the club is open prior to the show, yes you can bring drinks in if purchased from the bar. Check online for talent and events. TIP! They have a ticket validating machine located at the end of the bar, SCAN YOUR TICKET BEFORE THE SHOW! There is always a wild line to validate after so knock it out and avoid the wait.
