I called and was easily able to reserve a board, bindings, and boots. I came to pick them up and everything was ready. I returned them the next day. Since I decided to have an early morning walk in this park at 5 am, I didn't have difficulty finding a parking spot at the top side of the park. I love hearing all the birds in this park. It's so relaxing and you feel so close to nature. The hiking/walking trail is one mile to walk around the circumference of the park. Be mindful though, the trail is a dirt pathway and if they recently watered the grass, then you'll encounter patches of mud. The trees and bushes are numbered so you can look up what type of plant they are, but they're indigenous to the area. There were only a few people taking their morning walks and others taking their dogs out for a walk as well. I only noticed a few poop droppings from dogs where their owners didn't pick up after them, but other than that, this park makes you feel like you're taking a hike in nature. To the far right, is a grassy meadow where you can have a picnic. There are no picnic benches there though. This is area was completely green from the care and watering. Great place to bring your dog to run freely chasing Frisbees or balls. Also, there are no public restrooms at this park. However, I did notice one water fountain and people must have left bowls there for their dogs to drink out of. Overall, a beautiful park to visit and enjoy nature.

It functions as a town square and is used for…read moreconcerts, special events such as the Art Walk and Movies in the Park, and other public productions. It's occasionally enclosed to be used as a beer garden during downtown events. It's home to the annual Christmas tree as well as the Sister Cities clock, restored paintings on the brick wall and other public art. It's also a quiet, shady place to sit and eat at the tables or benches. While there's all that good stuff, the real problem with it is that it can get quite filthy; for example, I once encountered an apparent human turd there.

Located downtown is this great little park in the heart of the city. It's very small but it is a…read morenice place to take a break after window shopping downtown State Street or to have a bite under the sun. This park is used for many great activities. During Thursdays Market Night you can always find great entertainment from a local band, or occasionally see a local school perform on the weekend. During the holidays, it is the center of excitement hosting the tree lighting ceremony as well as the New Year's Eve Orange Drop. I highly recommend checking out this little park when looking for a nice place to relax or have a fun activity.

The oak trees are a huge plus. There's actual shade here, not just a few patches, which makes a big difference in this area. If you hike out far enough you'll find old abandoned houses and structures, which is honestly one of the coolest parts. It gives the whole place a bit of history and something extra to explore. Also great for horseback riding and a solid spot to bring food and picnic without dealing with crowds. Simple, quiet, and worth going back to.

Don't know what I was thinking, woke up and dragged my husband and my daughter on the hottest days to decide to hike lol!!! Be sure to wear a hat and bring water , this particular trail is my least favorite. I don't recommend to bring your fur baby , if you do. Please be careful this area has lots of over grown horse tail grass, it is so harmful to your fur babies. I would recommend to come during winter and cooler temperatures.

There are multiple trails that lead you to different places and some require you to go through very steep, rocky, and thorny paths. When we were coming down the trail, i realized there was one big path that can be taken there. Becareful as some parts are steep! I slid down a hill and took my friend down with me!

Parking is kind of a hassle just don't park on the red curbs and watch out for no parking signs in the neighborhood and you should be fine. Just park along a proper curb as there is no lot to park in here. The views keep getting better and better as you ascend but the very top is breathtaking. You have 360 degree views of the Inland Empire very cool spot. Be careful as some of the edges have steep drop offs. Perfect hike for the moderate hiker.
