And all their workers are so friendly, always making small talk with you and helping you get to know your board and equipments. This year we need to extend our rental an extra day and that was painless as well. When you come back to return, just drop off outside and show them your paperwork, it's a very quick process. Just a tip, there are 2 locations pretty close to each other so remember which one you rented from. :)

We got a tandem kayak and it was so convenient to just be able to walk over to Boulder Bay Park and start kayaking. The woman who helped us rent them at the front desk also kindly reminded us to bring sunscreen and water, and even refilled my water bottle for me. Thanks a ton for a great time! Eddie quoted me $15 and put it right up in the rack while we waited. He ended up spending way longer than I'm sure he had expected to because a few other links were messed up. In the end, he fixed it and as he was taking the bike off the rack he saw the handlebars were a little loose. Without thinking twice he loosened up the goose neck, made a few adjustments and then tightened everything up. Then he took n the bike over to the air and made sure the tire pressures were right. I told him to charge me more than the $15 he quoted, but he refused. These guys and gals at AV bikes are great. They know what they're doing and treat you like a customer should be treated. They've earned my business and I will send anyone who asks for a good bike shop their way.

All I needed was to exchange some inexpensive tubes for my service Dogs trailer. The were 20 dollars, they went flat after one use. When I originally purchased them, she sold me the wrong size, so I had to buy larger tires. They wrote me a receipt on the back of a piece of register paper, not sure why. I'm guessing that they were the crap tubes that they were just trying to get rid of. She explained, "they are thorn resistant, not thorn proof". That said, I just wanted better tubes for his trailer. I asked her if she would just credit me 20 towards purchasing a better inner tube product from there store, she said no ! I asked her if she was okay with losing a good customer over 20 dollars and stated that bad reviews can hurt a business. I have had jobs in my life, and reputation is everything !!! Looked for previous positive review in regards to buying a bike ( saras great) , to attach but…read morecan't find. long story short i got back into bicycling - and after 40 years out of saddle, electric made me feel like a 20yr old bike packer I use to be. (And might be again) . So like a true biker I bought too many bikes and had a garage a car can't go into. My wifes laughing -but disapproved. I told Bryan the owner my situation. he agreed to swap my used Pedego for a smaller one so my wife could ride. Keep in mind, swapping bikes and spending time on indecisive people is not how you make money in business but... Sara worked on it and made it look brand new. My wife rode it and loved it ( e bike baby!!) . --Now we are both to blame for a crowded garage. So.... All is right in the world again . Thanks guys
