Looked for previous positive review in regards to buying a bike ( saras great) , to attach but can't find. long story short i got back into bicycling - and after 40 years out of saddle, electric made me feel like a 20yr old bike packer I use to be. (And might be again) . So like a true biker I bought too many bikes and had a garage a car can't go into. My wifes laughing -but disapproved. I told Bryan the owner my situation. he agreed to swap my used Pedego for a smaller one so my wife could ride. Keep in mind, swapping bikes and spending time on indecisive people is not how you make money in business but... Sara worked on it and made it look brand new. Unsafe, Overpriced, and Completely Disappointing Rental Experience (Stagecoach Beware) I've been a loyal Pedego owner for years and have always loved my personal bike, which is exactly why I chose to rent four bikes from them for Coachella weekend 2. I paid $720 for the weekend--a discounted rate from the original $960 (or $240 per bike). For that price, I expected a minimum level of safety and professionalism. What I got was a total disregard for both. Out of the four bikes delivered, only one had a light. The other three had no lights installed at all. And Pedego knew exactly what these bikes were being used for. The store is located near the festival and even mentioned they were sold out because of Coachella. So how do you knowingly send bikes out for nighttime use with no way to see in the dark? It's not just careless--it's dangerous. This is basic safety. Because of that negligence, I ended up not using the bikes at all. It simply wasn't safe to ride them at night, especially around festival traffic. So in the end, Pedego got paid--and I got four unusable bikes. This wasn't a minor oversight. It was negligence. And for a brand I've supported and recommended for years, it's a huge disappointment. Pedego should be ashamed of how thoughtless this was. If you're charging nearly $1,000 for a weekend rental, the bare minimum is making sure the bikes are safe to ride. I won't be renting from them again--and I strongly suggest others think twice before doing so either. read more

Wow! We could not ask for better customer service than working with Christian. We purchased a chariot that required drilling to attach it to our Pedego e-bike. Christian accomplished it quickly and kindly. Our toddler loves the chariot, and we love the e-bikes! Many memories will be had thanks to this business. Side note, thank you, Christian, for also attaching the cup holder and pumping up the tires! A mother cannot ask for more than a content toddler, a little exercise, and access to caffeine. I called around looking for someone to put together bikes for my kids for Christmas. They even came to my house to pick up the bikes in the boxes and bring them back to their shop to assemble. Let me start out by saving I am probably one of the most enthusiastic Pedego owners you will ever meet. I have been vacationing in Palm Springs for the last 2 months when my 8 year old Pedego comfort cruiser lost power. I was absolutely devastated as I ride my bike daily while in Palm Springs. I called my local store in Oregon & received the kindest most professional treatment any customer would be thrilled to get. He called Pedego's corporate office to troubleshoot the issue with my bike. He called me to let me know what he & the corporate techs determined was the answer to my problem. But he did not stop there he offered to call the Palm Springs store to share what the troubleshooting session uncovered. Later he called me back stating that it might be better if I called the store directly because they seemed to busy to chat with him. I called the store immediately & they were extremely rude but said they would call me back in 30 minutes to see if they could get the parts & do the repairs before I returned to Oregon. I had not received a return call 30 hours later so I called again & left a message. The following day I called again & left another message. 3 days after the initial call I called 1 last time & left a final message. If you looking to buy a quality Ebike consider Pedego.
