Ever since Tim started managing the place, the quality of Funugyz has increased ten fold. It's a whole new staff, who are great, and the kitchen absolutely kills it now! I actually come in to just get food on occasion! Since my last post, I visit more regularly. It's a pretty awesome place to get tore up. I get to play darts, shoot pool, play poker, etc. I'm pretty sure, I feel more comfortable at Funugyz now then I did before. Over the years, the drinks have gone up in price but hey, that's inflation baby! Expect to spend about $30-$50 if you're going to be drinking a few shots and drinking a few tanks. read more

Returned to Denver for a little fun and family time over Easter weekend and you cannot visit without hitting this watering hole for a great time. Lived in Denver for about 12 years and love everything about it and then I found this place by accident. It is hid away in a small strip mall kinda out of site to most normal people. Took a customer to lunch here one day and became a regular after that. I hit Denver about 3 times a year and this is usually my first stop. If you are looking for the best looking servers and a great beer and drink selection then here's your sign but if you are a serious wing fanatic then dude you have found your heaven here for damn sure. I love hot and spice everything and my fav here are the Boulder Golds. The most wonderful sauce with jalepinos I have ever had in this life time for damn sure. Great pork green chilli and the fries are to die for. Hell I loved this place so much I even took time out of my busy work life to work here in the evening and on weekends just to get a feel of the funugyz love. Definitely the best country music bar in Parker. If you like country you can count on hearing it here. But I don't. Used to be a regular. Might as well change the name back to Stock Exchange (Parker old timers will get the reference) if you're going to keep playing country music. To be fair, great wait staff and good food. I actually went here trying to go to a different local bar than I normally go to. Last time I went here I pulled into the parking lot just to find out that it was closed... after taking a closer look it was closed for remodeling (much needed). So, when I went this time, I really didn't know what to expect. Upon walking in, you could tell the owners put a significant amount of money into the bar to draw in a fun crowd. The bar was nice, the decor was upated, tv's all over the place. This is the type of sports bar that I like to frequent. Along with that, the bar tender was extremely friendly and had her attention across the entire bar. It wasn't that busy on this particular night, this would normally give the bartender the opportunity to be lazy, it was the EXACT opposite! They were on top of it (one of the other bartenders was in training) If you like wings, you will love the wings here. I dont know if they have specials or not... but if they do, I will definitely make it a point to come back and get some, they were excellent! Yo this place is a little gem. I came in here cause I was starving and they had a funny name. I didn't expect much, crappy bar food. I ordered two appetizers cause I wanted fried food so I got the mushrooms and spicy Cauliflower apps. I was seriously expecting the same crap every bar uses that they buy froZen from Costco or whatever and throw it in the fryer. These guys actually breaded the veggies themselves so the mushrooms were fresh, it was actually pretty amazing. Our waitress seemed like she was new there to the job but made up for her lack of expertise with charm. She got our order right and drinks were kept full but you could tell she was still learning. Long time patron (usually 3x a month) of FuNuGyz and not sure WTF is up, but service and food quantity and quality have gone through the floor. Although we never received food today, have not been happy the last 3x I've been in. We just walked out after sitting with no service for 15+ min when not even busy. We waited over 10 minutes for drinks - got them and no one came back to take orders after having 3 empty drinks on the table. Wasn't busy - just no one there that gave two craps about service. Didn't recognize anyone on staff after not going in for a month or so and no one cared if we stayed or left. Left enough cash on the table to cover our three drinks and left. May try it again in a few weeks because we loved the regulars - but didn't recognize anyone on staff today. Did ownership change? read more

Alright, let's consider the options in the area... If you are under 35 this is probably the place you want to be. The bar food is decent, the drink prices are good and the atmosphere nice. I've been putting off coming here for a while, why I don't know. Perhaps it has something to do with being in the "ghetto" of Parker. I loved, loved the old Funugyz location on Cottonwood. They're food was good, stuff for kids and just all round good time. Well, went to the new location for the second time tonight. It's pretty awful compared to the old one. I'm sure new cooks, etc. Server was not good, wings were below average (ordered buffalo hot wings--no heat at all. Wings were underdone and not crispy even with the drop sauce on them. Asked for sauce on the side so we'd have some flavor. Added hot sauce. ) They were also small and $12 for about 8 of them. Chips and salsa were also below Taco Bell quality. Tasted old and flavorless. I am so disappointed. My friend and I said we'd meet there again but no food. It's too bad. Now that the new location is up and hopping I figured an updated review was in order. The new location is a wonderful spot, and even though it's right across the street from the old, it's now even easier to walk on over for a bite and a beer or 5! The new location just feels so much classier. The reclaimed barn wood wall and bowling alley bar tops add a nice charm, but you still know you're in a bar where drinks and solid bar snacks come first. The patio with the large garage doors opening up to the inside will be fantastic now that the warmer weather is arriving. There's an updated menu, but all of my old favorites remain. The wings are still absolutely top notch (boulder gold is amazing!) and the burgers still fresh and tasty. The fries, OMG the fries, still amazing. I've been told they eliminated freezers, so everything is nice and fresh. Service can still be a bit on the slow side if you aren't at the bar, and prices do seem to be up a bit, but with all the improvements at the new location it will certainly remain a go-to spot for me. read more

The food here is pretty good, nice variety of bar foods, the menu looks very interesting and the few items we had were all pretty good. The only reason we will not return is that compared to similar bars in the area, the prices are a bit steep. 12 bucks for 3 chicken strips and a handful of fries isn't worth it, most of the prices are on par with this as well, so it's a bit of a bummer. read more

Food is great, served hot not cold as for the beer the coldest coolers in town. Remember this is a new location south from the other location. Great place for lunch the kitchen does it right. Wow. What happened to FuNuGyz? We have been loyal patrons for the past several years, and for good reason. Their food and service were amazing! Then today we went in and were met with an alternate universe: same building, same menu, but different staff, like they'd been transported and replaced. We sat for 10 minutes or so waiting on drinks, but then another 20 waiting for them to return and take our food order, which they never did. So we left cash to cover our drinks and left without any acknowledgement from the staff. FuNuGyz has always been a hidden gem of a local spot, and it's very disappointing to see what's happened. My advice: find staff passionate about service, driven with a sense of urgency. Then I'll be back. read more

I know I gave them a horrible rating before but we thought we would give them another chance. I'm glad we did. Went yesterday . Asiumed easy in and out to check out the new themein parker. Tag in newspaper. Busier than I read from some other reviewers, although prices.....ok...I understand that bartenders these days are magicians who handcraft cocktails with ingredients brought in by sherpas from far-away lands, but this $11 cocktail business is a bit obscene. They were good, for sure, but not worth the price. Anymore you pay for the conversation with Ann or Stacy or helga... which btw , the bartenders are easy on the eyes here. The atmosphere is fantastic, but again, not worth the price. It got really packed with a lot of people, really quick. Understaffed . Understandable for being new ... or re new. That being said, it is pretty cool, and everyone is pretty friendly, and the atmosphere inside is pretty fantastic. Gotta be if I found myself coming home 4 hours later. Awesome conversation if sit at bar and get to talk to them working behind the bar. I tested the one gal that was there who serve me lunch earlier, they must teach em well, she passed the worthy liquor chat. I love this neighborhood bar! Great food and drink specials, fast and friendly staff. The bar tenders can make you anything - try the bucket of margarita! A great place for all our friends and neighbors to get together and have a good time. Possibly one of the only bars in town following COVID safety rules, all staff wearing masks, tables safely distanced and sanatizing all surfaces between guests. I used to love the food here, but now that they changed the menu, it is very disappointing. They used to have the best fried mushrooms I'd ever eaten. Now they're off the menu. Friends and I went there: 2 had hamburgers and both said they were really salty. I felt like the buffalo wing sauce wasn't as good as it used to be. We might still go back for the Bloody Mary bar, but we used to go there also on other days for the good food. Now...meh. read more

So we went to see if it has gotten better today and holy shit it's gotten worse owner just leaves when ever leaving the staff to run things like cool you trust them but I didn't get anything right I ordered a SAUSAGE breakfast burrito I got bacon. Funugyz is always consistent, and has very good specials. It is dive type bar, maybe a little nicer. People are friendly, food is good and they have updated their dart boards! A couple of pool tables line the front of the bar, and there is ample room to walk around without interfering with a game. It's a nice enough bar with plenty of pool tables. But the service is terrible. I went there several times with a friend of mine and each time it took forever for a waitress to come buy and check on us, and the bar tenders seemed like they were being by inconvenienced each time I went to get a drink from them. We were not rude or pushy, we generally go out of our way to NOT be that way. But it sure felt as though we pissed someone off. This happened on week nights where they were not very busy either. I'm done with this place. I don't generally like to write negative reviews unless there have been multiple bad experiences because any place can have a bad night or someone can have an off day, but 3 times in a row is enough. read more

Was there with friends the other night. Live music was great. We ended up spending most of the time out on their patio since it was a nice night. If you haven't checked out their new patio upgrades, you definitely should. Had the chicken wings and they were the BOMB! Moscow mule was also great.
