Mac and cheese fries with chicken
    Donna D.

We drove down from Aurora to try this restaurant and we will definitely be back. The food was excellent. Our server Maci was very nice and helpful. She recommended an off-menu item that definitely needs to be added. It was Mac & cheese with fries, fried chicken, cheese, ranch and buffalo sauce. Sounds weird; tastes amazing. We were also very excited about the vegetarian options as my husband is vegetarian. He loved the samosa burger. My daughter liked her chicken tenders but definitely wants the Mac and cheese next time. Also the food was HOT when it came out. So good! Great find in Castle Pines!

Gino!!! Probably one of the best bourbon selections and music venues south of Denver. Killer drinks and bourbon. Our new "go to". Thank you.

This is the 14er. Supposedly half pound burger. Seemed like a 5-6oz burger.

Got the 14er burger. 100% not 1/2 lb. Probably 5-6oz at most. Taste was fine. Wasn't great but also not bad. Poor waitress was running all over the place. Took 30 min after sitting down to get addressed. The 4 of us were talking about going to great divide instead but then the waitress came over. Took a long time to get our drinks, a long time to get food, a long time to get refill on drinks. Again, food was ok and waitress was clearly understaffed. Wouldn't make this a regular location to dine at

My boyfriend and I came here on a Wednesday night for dinner. I didn't know there would be live music so that was an added bonus! We ordered pizza and the pretzel and both were good! This is close to us so we are looking forward to coming back.

Convenient location, yet crazy pub menu includes tandori chicken and other Thai and Indian foods. Beer selection has the most popular, although the two crafts I've tried had oxidized. WBG menu equally interesting, lower priced no-name wines, and high-end wines. The wine I tried I knew, but it had unfortunately oxidized. Need either more turnover, or smaller BTG wine list. Because of location have tried it three times, always friendly staff, but needs help. Weather has not cooperated with my visits, but outside beer garden looks to have possibilities. Cheers,

I agree with what others have said about this place. It's clear the building wasn't built to be a…read moresports bar, but I commend owners for at least trying. There are TVs everywhere, and the sound is loud and even pumped into the bathrooms. That said, it's an odd setup all the way around. We showed up on a Saturday night during the NFL playoffs and found the first-floor bar area to be packed. As others have mentioned, it feels very tight and cramped downstairs. Nobody greeted us, and honestly, we couldn't find anyone who wasn't running around crazy, so after taking a pass around the bar, we took the stairs to the second-floor game room, which was also packed. Nobody to ask there either, so we continued to wander. We found a little side room with four tables and two TVs that was empty. I found someone walking by, asked if the section was open, they said it was, so we sat down. A little while later, a waitress came by to take our orders. We each tried a house lager but decided on a pint each of the Avalanche. Not starving, we ordered the $10 nachos so we'd have something to nibble on while drinking and watching football. Beers came out a little while later, and then we waited. Eventually, a group of four Bears fans came in and sat down at a table near us. A little while they ordered. Not long after that, their food came. They noticed the surprise in that theirs came out before ours did. We mentioned to the server, and he went to go check. Then our waitress (who we didn't see too often) swung by. Then a guy who may have been the manager, swung by. Eventually, our nachos came out. The manager came back by, apologized again, and offered a free dessert to make up for it. I will say, the nachos were really large and quite good. A good deal for $10. Would definitely get them again. We finished our food, the manager came by again, and talked about the dessert options. My wife went with the hot brownie sundae. Looking forward to that, we were then disappointed again when the manager came by a little while later to let us know they were out of both brownies AND vanilla ice cream. How does that happen? He offered an alternate dessert, and after my wife declined, he said he'd take the $10 nachos off the bill. At least that's what she thought he said. When we got the bill, it showed only a $5 credit. Oh well. I wasn't going to make a big deal about it, but again, disappointment. I'm guessing we'll give them another shot at some point, as we did see a few things on the menu that looked good. I heard there's a third floor restaurant that will open at some point. I never found stairs to get up there, but they're around somewhere. It wasn't a particularly relaxing experience, and as of now, it doesn't have that cozy, neighborhood sports bar vibe. We'll see how it gets broken in during years to come.

When we arrived, they weren't prepared and quickly pulled a table together but missed a chair and setup. This is simple but speaks to oversight and lack of attentiveness. After borrowing a chair from another table, our group sat down and no later than 30 seconds our server was asking what drinks we wanted to order. It would have been helpful to point out the drink menu or give a recommendation versus demanding to know what we wanted. The interior is noisy and covered in carpet. Over half of our orders came out wrong- wrong protein on the wrong plate with wrong side. And to top it all off, did the kitchen lose their seasoning rack? Nothing was seasoned. The steaks were a poor cut, overcooked, the poor vegetables looked like they were boiled and thrown in a serving bowl, and the baked potatoes were either straight up plain or obviously sitting under a heat lamp because the cheese was dried. I envisioned the kitchen cooking in silo, throwing their portions on a plate with no consideration of the whole meal. It's giving cafeteria food. When we go out, we measure quality by evaluating whether we could cook it as well at home. This failed by a significant margin. I'd love to support local restaurants but at this price point and lack of quality, we'll try elsewhere, anywhere but here.

The other daughter, also wanting something different, had the green chili burrito. She wasn't as impressed with the dish, saying it didn't have much taste, even after adding good amounts of salt and pepper. The burrito was described as "mid", which I guess means 'not very good.' Listen up, you beautiful degenerates of Colorado -- if you're anywhere near Castle Rock and you DON'T drop everything to go to The Brinkerhoff, you're actively choosing a life of sadness and regret. This place is perched up there like a goddamn castle overlooking the kingdom, windows so meticulously clean I could see my future in them (and it was eating more ribeye). The views? ABSURD. I'm talking "postcard from heaven" levels of ridiculous. You'll be stuffing your face while staring at scenery that makes you question why you ever lived in a basement apartment. The ambiance inside is straight-up opulent too -- crystal chandeliers dripping like diamonds, stone walls, red leather booths, and that massive framed vintage Beech 18 airplane photo that hits different. Speaking of which... My best friend Rob took one look at that classic twin-prop Beech 18 on the wall and the hairs on his arms stood straight up. Turns out he actually flew one of those exact legends back in the day. There's a killer story behind it -- ask the staff about it, they'll hook you up with the full tale. Goosebumps guaranteed. This place doesn't just serve dinner; it triggers full-on life flashbacks. The food? ABSURDITY-INDUCING. I'm still recovering. * Spicy Hiramasa Roll -- TO. DIE. FOR. Spicy tuna, avocado, cucumber, and pure culinary sorcery. One bite and I ascended. I blacked out and woke up speaking fluent sushi. * Big Island Ribeye (16oz, soy-marinated) -- OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. Juicy, flavorful, marinated in what I can only assume is liquid gold and unicorn tears. MUST GET. I would fight a bear for this steak. I would marry this steak. Hell, I'd let this steak ruin my credit score. * Chipotle Glazed Wagyu Short Ribs -- These bad boys were so awesome I almost proposed. Sweet, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth perfection that made me question every other rib I've ever had. They were basically foreplay for the main course. And don't even get me started on the STAFF. These legends deserve their own parade. Big shoutout to our waiter Larson -- the man dropped recommendations like they were bars in a rap battle. 10/10 service, zero notes. GM Lisa came in hot on the 4th of July, straight from the sister property Sierra, working like a boss and being the friendliest, most knowledgeable human alive. Absolute queen behavior. GM Heather rolled up, made sure everything was flawless, and then dropped restaurant history knowledge like a TED Talk. I felt cultured AND fed. And eternal props to Chloe & Keiley in reservations -- we showed up AN HOUR LATE like the chaotic gremlins we are, and they still saved our seats. That's not service, that's sorcery. This crew isn't just outstanding -- they're the Avengers of hospitality. Outstanding food + god-tier staff + Beech 18 nostalgia that gives your pilot buddy chills = I'm moving in. 10/10. 100/10. Infinity/10. It's a MUST-GO when you're in Castle Rock. Bring your appetite, bring your people, bring stretchy pants, and bring your best stories. I'm already planning my return like it's a religious pilgrimage. Brinkerhoff, you absolute madlads -- thank you for existing. I love you. Never change. (Go. Now.
