Her enthusiasm and love for animals is apparent as soon as you meet her. Whenever I tell my babies that Estelle will be by for a walk, their tails start wagging! They really love her! I initially found her through yelp and contacted her due to all the raving reviews about her-- all true!! After every visit she txts a report and it is very thorough -- it's the next best thing after being able to check in on your babies yourself. One of my babies got super sick recently and for a while we thought that we would have to make the difficult decision to let him go. Estelle was so incredibly compassionate throughout the whole ordeal-- coming to see him at the hospital and staying by our side-- I credit her completely for getting us through that difficult time. Thankfully, he's so much better now and we're all just so grateful to Estelle! For the comprehensive service she provides, her rates are so reasonable!! Her rates are actually lower than her competitors and she does a better job! What more could you ask for?

She sends updates when they are en route to and from my house and always lets me know when he is safe and sound at home. She also sends pictures and videos from his day, so I know he is taken care of and loved. They have been the best to work with, and I would recommend to anyone! They are THE place to trust with your fur baby. Update- we've been using pdwalks for some time now, and has continued to be the best daycare option for Coach. We brought our pup to her so she could evaluate what was going on, and when he came home, she walked us through a step by step process that allowed him to be confident being home alone again. I was seriously concerned that we wouldn't be able to leave him alone ever again, but Elena knew what to do, and encouraged us to patiently stick with the program. Now we can leave him at home and he's relaxed and happy. The vet could only recommend that we drug him. Elena really knows dogs and she is excellent at giving them a voice. We are so grateful. I've been bringing my dogs here for years first my late dog, and now my current miniature schnauzer. If you look back at my previous review photos, you'll see the PERFECT schnauzer cut they used to do. Consistent. Professional. Distinguished little gentleman energy. Recently though, scheduling became nearly impossible. Every conversation sounded like: "Let me confirm if our groomer is actually working that day..." After weeks of trying to coordinate schedules, my schnauzer's hair got longer than ever. He loves wearing shirts, so yes, he had some matting. I paid extra for de-matting and gave very clear instructions: shave the skirt, but keep a full beard along with his chest and paws fluffy. Y'all... when I picked him up, I genuinely did not recognize my own dog. He walked in looking like a miniature schnauzer and walked out looking like a scrappy chihuahua named Peanut. They shaved EVERYTHING. His entire body, his face, even his whiskers. HIS WHISKERS. WTF. I know hair grows back and thankfully it's summer, but I honestly felt bad for him. As someone with longer hair myself, if somebody sat me down and buzzed me to the skin without warning, I'd probably need emotional support and a hoodie for a month. My dog still seems happy and unbothered, but I'm traumatized enough for both of us. After years of loyalty, this was incredibly disappointing and totally unacceptable. We will never come back..

From the first stay, I could tell they actually understand dogs, not just watch them. He came back relaxed, clean, and acting like himself, which says everything. The communication was solid, and I didn't have to chase anyone for updates. Place is clean, staff is friendly, and more importantly, they know what they're doing. I trust them with my dog, and that's not something I say lightly.

After having our previous petsitter hike their rates up beyond what we could comfortably pay, we reached out to Jessica for help and she was nothing short of amazing. She was able to handle our often unfriendly chihuahua without problem and we could tell she really cared for our animals. As a veterinarian, I have pretty high standards for animal care. Our pets are family and we are always nervous trusting a new person to take care of them when we can't be there. Jessica isn't the type of person to send a text or email each time she visits, but was happy to give updates when asked and responded promptly to messages. When we got back home, I found a stack of progress notes with sweet tidbits about the pets for each visit. We are so happy we found her and would recommend her 100%!

In the past, we used a local kennel, and each time we did, Angel was a nervous wreck when we picked her up. She was just miserable! This time we didn't want to do that to her, so the hunt was on for an alternative. Thanks to social media, I was already familiar with Jessica, the owner of Wags and Whiskers, due to me following her company on twitter quite some time ago. I have read her tweets, and read her great blog, and even purchased a toy she recommended for Angel that ended up being one of Angel's favorites! So, I decided to contact her and see if she was up for the task. I emailed her what I needed done, and she replied almost immediately with the answers to my questions! This was a great sign! Jessica requested that she come over and meet Angel to be sure Angel was comfortable with her, so we set a date a time. Jessica arrived promptly with a staff member and I could tell immediately she was passionate about her job. Angel and her got along great! We chatted about the details of when to feed etc, and I just knew Angel would be in good hands. When we returned from our trip, we were greeted by a happy dog! No nervousness or sickness like when she was at the kennels! On the counter we found notes that shared the things Jessica and Angel did during her visits...this was great!!! It was nice to know that Angel had a buddy while we were gone! If you are looking for someone who will come to your home while you are gone, and take care of your pets, I wholeheartedly recommend Wags and Whiskers for the job!!

Wonderful service. we have got to know the wonderful staff and sitters she has. The best thing about them is the personalized service they provide. its like a family atmosphere. this is so important because when we travel several times a year, we feel very safe and comfortable with their taking care of our cats, which is soooo important. We can actually enjoy our vacations knowing our cats are well taken care of.. When one of our cats passed away 2 years ago, Nicole sent a beautiful card and a picture that i didnt even know she had of our Chance. It brought tears to our eyes and i still have that Polaroid on the front of our refrigerator .. Just a great group of people from Nicole to top down to the managemnt and sitters.
