Professional, easy to schedule and Tech was great. First had winter service. Had an issue later about a month. I changed their filter out and put in HEPA filter. Issue was a newer furnace with filter needing changed from HEPA filter to one allowing more air circulation New thermostat helped as well. I bought that. Paid for 2 service calls and got an awesome running furnace as well a great lesson on how to use my system properly. Furnace was put in by energy assistance just never received book. My igniter went out on my furnace. George, from Furnace World, had one in his truck and proceeded to replace it, without giving me a quote on the cost of service and of the part itself. Once he completed the installation of the new part, he quoted me a price of $800 for the igniter. He said that was too much and thought it was an error in his 'new price parts catalog' and then quoted me a price of $400 from the 'previous' price parts catalog. He also said that he would forego the $100 service and diagnostic fee due to the price of the part. I did a search the next day on the Internet for the cost of an igniter for the model and make of my furnace, and found out that I could have bought it online for $79.00. If I had purchased online and even shipping it overnight, the part itself would not have cost more than $100. So, if you are looking to get screwed with YOUR PANTS ON, give Furnace World a call. They'll be happy to take your money. read more

Our heater had been shutting off randomly for the past couple months then would turn back on or we'd have to go in the crawl space and unplug the heater. Finally got fed up with doing so and was recommended to Furnace World. Talk about customer service! These guys were on time, even put on booties in the house and were in and out within 30 min! My techs were Tom and Andrew, both very knowledgeable techs that answered all my questions and throughly walked me through what ended up being a bad flame sensor. I can not say enough about how professional Larry is. I was told by a different company that I needed $1200-1400 in repairs on my AC but I really should just replace my 15 year old Lennox unit (that has never given me problems). Made an appointment 3 weeks ago to have someone come out and do diagnostic on my gas fireplace that hasn't worked since I moved in 2 years ago. It was $89 to have a diagnostic done and I was told he would do an estimate based on his findings. My appointment window was 11-1pm. At 11:05, Luke called me to let me know he was 15 minutes away. Fabulous! Was so worried it would be like waiting for the cable man. Luke was very professional, knew exactly what he was doing. He showed me some do's and don't, worked really hard to get it running without replacing anything. In the end, he had to replace a gas and the thing that lights the pilot. Total cost $149 and done, cleaned up and beautiful in 1 hour. Heeven took the time to arrange the logs just right so the flame looked fabulous. The service way exceeded my expectations. read more

Recently, our old furnace rolled over and died. While the technician from the utilities company was red-tagging our furnace, my husband asked who he'd recommend. They are not supposed to give referrals but he'd heard Furnace World was very good. I called the next business day and within 3 days, we had our new, efficient Trane furnace installed. These folks are great. Totally professional. There are lots of different gas fireplaces with lots of nuances. After I was unable to reach the dealer for my fireplace, I contacted furnace world. They diagnosed and repaired an issue that was specific to my particular model. They called ahead each time they came out. They didn't need to, but it's nice. The gentleman that did the repair was a nice fellow and he wore a mask. You could tell that he knew what he was doing. I've had some nightmare fireplace repair situations-ones were you really weren't confident that your house was left in a safe condition. Not the case with this company. Our fireplace works great. Wow, not sure what to say about the aggressiveness of the man who came to follow up on an issue with first repairman's work(Luke) on our upstairs furnace, which turned into a whole snowball effect.Our Nest humidifier went offline after his second visit so they sent another guy "supervisor"(Tom)he came in angry and combative about Luke's work. My husband and I were taken aback with complete snit he threw and stormed out saying he couldn't fix it and was calling his boss. All I can say is the experience was crazy, unprofessional and mind blowing! How is this okay to treat customers this badly in their own home? read more

I was so impressed with Furnace World when they serviced our gas fireplace. The gentleman that I spoke with on the phone was very patient and helpful. The technician who worked on our fireplace, George, was fantastic. He was very friendly which made it very pleasant to have him in our home. He identified several safety issues with our fireplace and fixed all of them on the spot. He did a level 2 cleaning which made it absolutely immaculate. I can't say enough about George. We had scheduled a level 3 cleaning with the extra scrubbing to get the soot off the glass. He said we didn't need it, did the level 2 instead, got the glass clean without the extra scrubbing and saved us $150. He found a little rust on the edge of the fireplace. We had the paint on hand, so he touched it up for us, which saved us taking the fireplace apart again ourselves. Then he updated our Nest because he's both a Nest Pro and just an awesome person. He was kind to my little boy and respectful of our home. I imagine that if we had a dog, it would have followed George home. He's just that great. We recently had our furnace replaced by Furnace World. It was a complicated situation that related to some damage likely related to the original builder and other problems likely caused by a previous owner. Because of those issues, finding the problem required quite a bit of time and the repair and new installation were complicated. Over the span of several days, multiple workers and the owner of Furnace World were at our house. This was not because they were not working quickly. On the contrary, they were very thorough but there were three separate problems that were identified. Each and every employee of Furnace World was polite, conscientious and very helpful. All of them took care to cover our carpet, wear booties and clean up thoroughly after a job was done. We now have a beautiful new furnace that is working well and the owner was very fair in the pricing of the new furnace and labor, given the amount of work that had to be done. I highly recommend Furnace World. I believe that the employees and the owner went above and beyond what was required of them and that their workmanship was of the highest quality. Top notch service, from beginning to end! We knew our furnace was on the way out, as it was 21 years old, but hoped to get one more winter out of it. Less than two weeks ago it started telling us it was dying, as it was getting louder and louder. We contacted F.W. to get an appointment for a quote for a new furnace. The manager, Joe, was very kind and patient with me as I asked several questions over the phone. He even let me move my appointment up a day early a few days later, as my furnace got even worse. Jeremy came out on time and was absolutely fantastic! He asked me several questions as to what our needs were and then looked at my furnace and proceeded to answer my many questions, and gave me a quote for different options on the spot. We were confident that FW was the right company to work with. The next night my furnace died a very loud death. While I wasn't surprise this happened, I was still freaking out. Jeremy was at my door within thirty minutes with two space heaters, which did a great job keeping us warm until we got the new furnace a few days later. He turned off the electric switch to the furnace and closed off the gas line, which helped me relax knowing that nothing dangerous could happen (i.e. fire, gas leak). Most importantly of all, he was there for us when we needed help! A few days later Micah and Luke came early and worked efficiently and timely in installing our new furnace. Follow up to previous review about angry and unacceptable service. If I could give them zero stars I would because no customer should be treated as aggressive and badly as we were. Talking to Steve after first guy(,snowballed problems with upstairs heater and heat completely stopped working, he also disconnected Nest and humidifier). Second guy came in to see what happened and he turned angry and stormed out when we complained about obvious problems created by first guy. It was extremely uncomfortable to have someone that angry in my house. He was asked to leave and started pushing the Nest buttons and delayed leaving. We finally called Climate Solutions and he fixed everything in 6 minutes!! 6 minutes!!! It was so disturbing and unbelievable that after over 500$ we had to call someone else to fix the messes created by Furnace World and their complete lack of professionalism and customer service. read more

After being a customer for 15 +, I come home to no heat despite my furnace just being serviced by this company a week ago today, and the response I receive? We're all booked, call this other company who did not return my call despite me leaving on the voicemail that I have a disabled parent. So I called Affordable Plumbing and Heating that I have no relationship with, and they were here within 30 minutes of my call. 10/12/2016 - Last week I couldn't light the pilot light on my furnace. I called another furnace company.. After a $383.00 bill my pilot was lit, and to my horror my furnace was left in a very unsafe condition. There are no words to express how grateful I am for Lisa's diligence in repairing my furnace and providing me the Comfort annual program. She insisted a tech was sent out immediately. Lisa's tech spent one hour, 15 minutes and check and cleaned everything possible. The first tech spent 7 minutes creating a dangerous situation, collected a phenomenal cost, and said that I needed parts that are functioning just fine. Due to Furnace World and their very caring and conscientious owner and technician, I am thankful to say my daughter and I are alive today! Thank you Lisa, from the bottom of our hearts! I used the services of Furnace World in mid-January 2017. They accomplished a Safety Inspection of 2 separate furnaces in my home. I was hoping for a better experience based on the quantity of their positive reviews; unfortunately, my experience wasn't that great. Following are the highlights from my experience: - When the technician arrived, he started looking at the downstairs furnace and I mentioned I was selling the home and he started throwing out other things I should do...water heater check, humidifier check, full tune-up as opposed to a safety check, etc. Everything was an additional charge. I realize I'm getting upsold, but what he was saying sounded reasonable, so I said OK. Then he immediately seems annoyed by all the extra things he has to do and says he'll have to check with the main office to see if I need rescheduled to another appointment. You just sold me extra services...good job...don't be annoyed that you were successful! So, he calls the main office up and I'm in the room and, in an exasperated tone, he's mentioning all the extra services he needs to do. I can clearly hear the owner on the phone also frustrated, "I e-mailed and talked to this guy...blah blah blah" and starts trash talking...really?!?! He got to his phone volume, but not in time to prevent a really bad impression. - Part of the miscommunication here was that I'm not an expert on furnaces. I thought the furnaces would be cleaned as well because the service I signed up for states, "polish the flame sensor (which when dirty is a common reason a furnace will fail to ignite)." I thought the furnace would be cleaned based on that, but apparently, that's a different service. Another miscommunication that led to this whole situation was the fact that I had two furnaces in the house and I didn't realize that I needed to tell them about each one. Ok...I'll own that. Was I at zero fault here...no...but I'm not the furnace expert...that's why I hire furnace experts. The attitudes and demeanors that followed were just unprofessional and not warranted though. - The technician finds a gas leak on the downstairs furnace and charges the fee to fix that and then proceeds to the upstairs furnace. The upstairs furnace is a pain. It's in the attic and difficult to navigate to. I feel for the guy. But...he's up their cursing at the thing and muttering and clearly frustrated...loud enough that I could hear it outside of the attic. Don't do that...just don't...it's not professional. - So I have to leave at this point. When scheduling I'd mentioned that I had a hard stop at a certain time and when they scheduled the two hour window I let them know that if it were closer to the start of that window there wouldn't be a problem, if it were near the end we'd run out of time. I was told it shouldn't be a problem...well...it was. I leave and he's still doing the upstairs furnace. I get a call right away that the same part has a gas leak in the upstairs furnace but for that furnace (same part, same model, same everything) it's going to cost 4 times as much. I'm told that there was a lot more labor in swapping that one out, but when I looked later it's in the exact same spot at the front that the downstairs one was. I felt like the price hopped by a multiple of 4 only because I had to leave. Overall, I felt like this was probably a great company that was having a bad day. I don't know. I cannot recommend their services though based on my experience. I had tentatively scheduled another Safety/Inspection on another house with them, but won't be following through with that. I'll be seeking out another provider. read more

Really impressed with the response and expertise this company brought when they fixed my gas fireplace today. I called at the end of the day yesterday and they came out early afternoon today. George was thorough, and helped me understand some basics I could do myself if i had a similar issue in the future. The cost for the repair was much less than i expected. furnace world is phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!! luke is fantastic young man who know furnace repair very well...does a super job.....our furnace stopped working during that bitter cold oct 2019....luke came out quick after we called , even thou they were booked solid....the roofers from the fountain hail storms, knocked a lot of dirt down the furnace pipe......the filter caught some of the dirt, but the furnace was really dirty, and stopped running.......luke got it all cleaned, even thou carrier furnace is tight, hard to work on, luke did it, and did a super job.....furnace world is great!!!!!!!!! thank you so much++++ read more

As a mom with 3 small children, I'm always a little nervous about what type of person will be coming into my home to do any type of repair. George from Furnace World showed up today to do some work on my fireplaces & my concerns quickly disappeared. He was very professional and knowledgeable, in addition to being very personable. My kids loved him and would not leave him alone to do his work! He didn't seem to mind & even let them "help" a bit and taught them a lot about safety when it comes to carbon monoxide and fireplaces. I wouldn't normally give a HVAC company a 5 star but part of that is that every time I have called, Steve has answered the phone and been able to intelligently talk about my concerns. I have a rental property and needed to get a red tag that was unjustifiably placed by Colorado springs utilities. The CS utility people couldn't identify the source of CO gas which turned out to be the tenants warming up their older vehicle partly outside of the garage. Long story short, the techs at furnace world spent hours troubleshooting the source and figured it out. Initially, the inspection price is just a little higher with furnace world but you get professionalism, not a company that scares you and recommends higher cost repairs. In my experience they were honest and professional, they answered the phone when I NEEDED them to and they didn't try to rip me off. read more

Not impressed. Furnace World overcharges for work they do. I recently received an estimate of $2680 to install Aprilaire 800 residential steam humidifier. Let's do the math. The humidifier itself costs about $729.99 (Amazon). The remaining $1950.01 cost would then be attributable to labor for humidifier install and electrical services (to include permit). Though, I was told only electrical work would be to swap electrical outlet/faceplate. No new electrical circuit would be established, thus limiting humidifier output. Not something I want as a homeowner looking to humidify home. So with almost no electrical work to be done, it seems the remaining costs (not including humidifier cost) was really for humidifier install labor. Ridiculous. Don't let the Dave Ramsey endorsement fool you. Matter of fact, he'd probably pull his endorsement if he only knew of experiences like mine with this company. read more

Truly excellent customer service and work from Steve who initially took my call to help diagnose the problem over the phone and George who did the actual work in getting my furnace back in working order. Couldn't be more happy with my experience from Furnace World. I called and talked to Steve on Tuesday. He was able to quickly diagnose the main possible cause of my furnace failing and I was able to text him pictures and model/serial numbers for him to get all of the necessary information to their technician George. George arrived exactly on time on Wednesday and was able to run several checks before fixing my furnace, all within an hour. It runs perfectly now. He was also able to get it all ready for winter as well without charging me. Additionally, he was also able to see a faulty install on my water heater and was able to quickly fix that as well.
