The furniture co store (both Shawn and Ray) called me today, the day after my previous review was posted in Yelp. Shawn was being honest and told me that he has read my previous review. They (both Shawn and Ray) apologized; and, Shawn have asked me how they can make up their bad customer service that I recently received. Also, Ray explained to me regarding the day of incident that I mentioned in the previous review. Ray stated that they had to deal with other stressful situation (while Ray not feeling well on that day as well), that made both of them being emotional; afterwards, they regretted acting like that. As they apologized and provided the good service overall, I am moving up the stars. I also added a full view of my customized sofa looks like, so the customers can view. P.S. This was my second time shopping and spending a lot of money at this store. We went to so many different furniture shops looking for the perfect couch. Everywhere we went, we received a "We can get this to you in 6 months". We tried out Pottery Barn, West Elm, Restoration Hardware, and saw this review when we were searching in the Folsom area. They had really good reviews and ratings so we gave it a shot. The parking lot is a little sketch but we were surprised at the customer service and options. We found a couch that we could customize and are very happy with the end results. We were quoted a 3 month wait time but it arrived within 2! The delivery was organized and they cleaned up after. Highly recommend! read more

We been searching for a couch to fall in love without the BIG price tag. On a late Sunday evening we stopped in the store to just see what all the hype was all about and by hype...I mean all these positive reviews on Yelp must mean something! Lol We were helped right away and felt very comfortable. We didn't feel pressured to buy and we enjoyed that they had a nice show room with a lot of sectionals and couches to pick from. We fell in love with a beautiful white coach and we decided to get it. The price was also right and had free delivery as well. After waiting only 9 days we received our couch. There was a slight miscommunications with the delivery date but they came back the next day and assembled and set up the couch. Everyone I interacted with was very nice. AMAZING place and second to none SERVICE!!!! My wife and I went out looking for a sectional or a sofa/love seat for our new place, I did my homework by yelping best furniture stores and did some research on what material, cushion, wood framing and brands to look for. We looked at multiple stores and were not very satisfied... there was a lack of information given or what we thought were overly priced. We narrowed our choice to a sectional and a sofa/love seat we both liked at another store, we left due to the store closing and undecided on which one to get. I decided on going to Furniture Co. after reading all their great reviews. I had previously passed on Furniture Co. due to the location, and let me tell you, after walking in, this place is bigger than what you see from the outside. The furniture they have is well-known furniture brands. Shawn introduced himself and showed me right to all the sectionals and sofa/loveseats. He was very informative and gave me a great price on a couple of pieces I loved. I told him I would be back with my wife the next day. When my wife and I arrived, Shawn greeted me by my first name, he remembered. I showed my wife what Shawn previously showed, but she was still undecided. We asked Shawn if he could get the exact sofa/loveseat my wife really liked at the previous store, but he didn't have them in the showroom. He was able to find it online and beat the other stores price easily and promised he could get them delivered in a week. The delivery guys were just as good as Shawn's service, 5 star!!! Still love my bed I got from them last year, so I decided to go ask about the matching night stands. They have such a great show room and they have such a great selection of items- I decided to look at their sectional sofas and all the workers are so helpful and ready to answer any questions. I held off on sofas and decided to just place an order for my matching night stands and it was so easy. They were able to look them up in the catalog and quoted me $120/ea and threw in free delivery and set up! I thought that was really fair considering RC Willey nightstands are like $349+. They called me and kept me up to date on delivery and the guys dropping off were so polite and got them set up in no time. I came here based on the average Yelp reviews. The front entrance makes this store look small but it's larger on the inside once you enter. Immediately upon entry I was greeted and shown around to different pieces of furniture. After not finding something on the show room I was asked to come to the back and find something online to be ordered. This is where you may view pictures pulled from both a paper and internet catalog for a "special order". You can tell the store prioritizes inventory and maximizes the amount of furniture to demo. The estimated delivery time was underestimated by about a week. Granted shipping estimates from production at the time of this purchase was volatile pretty much everywhere and if you see something on the showroom there's a higher chance of it being in stock than it being a special order. Customer service will be kind enough to give you delivery "estimates", but also let you know that delays are a possibility and not in their control. When you order something on the internet you take a gamble at how it will feel in person. When buying special orders you want there to be a satisfaction guarantee. What I find buying through Furniture Co is that although it might not be written in a contract, you are dealing with a private owner and not a billion dollar corporation that has their hands tied with terms and conditions. 99% of the time you can work something out with the private owner. The furniture delivery crew may not be familiar with every model of the 1000's of models available but they did take off their shoes when moving it onto the carpet. Last, if you intend to communicate, phone or in-person communication works the best. Everything can be explained and sorted out in a 2 minute phone conversation as opposed to waiting days for an email response. I revised this review because I finally had time to speak with Shawn and he ultimately wants every customer to be satisfied with their furniture. read more

I am very disappointed in the quality of the couches I purchased. They broke apart quickly and the cushions have all flattened. The picture posted is the back of the couch. It's not a small trim piece but the part you lean on and expect to be sturdy. Seeing as it's only put together by staples I can see why it fell apart so quickly. During the sale everything went great. Ray was good to deal with and we were happy with the purchase. The issues started a year and a half later when the cordless recliner stopped working. Ray offered to send his guys out to look at it. It took some time to get them out, but they did try to get it to work, but couldn't. They said they'd go back to the office and contact the manufacturer. I never heard back. Since they never told me the name of the manufacturer, I had to track it down via Google. The manufacturer, Parker House, was extremely helpful. With their help, I was able to confirm that it was a faulty battery and could be replaced under the 3-year warranty. Parker House just needed confirmation from the store of when and where I bought it. I talked to Ray and he was extremely rude and unhelpful. He insisted that it wasn't under warranty and that Parker House wouldn't help. Fortunately, Parker House honored the warranty anyway and I was able to install the new battery myself and the recliner is working again. read more

My best friend got her couch from this place three years ago and it held up nicely so I decided to come here as well. Because of covid I didn't get my couch for a month since they are made to order- I needed a specific size and layout. It is honestly worth the wait because I love everything about my couch!! The salesman was polite and patient with my indecisiveness and all my questions. The couch I got came with pillows of my choice which is perfect for the decor of the rest of my home. Don't be fooled by the curbside appeal because once you walk inside they have a gorgeous clean show room- I even found an accent chair that I bought as well! First timers here saw all the great reviews and it was close to home so we decided to come by to look for a bed frame. Walked in and was greeted by a gentlemen name Shawn. We looked but we didn't see what we wanted on the show floor so Shawn told us he had a whole catalog we can look at to look for what we wanted. Finally found what we wanted and he said it would take about 10-14 days to be delivered. So everything seems to be going okay until we got it delivered and assembled. The gentlemens that came spoke little to no English which was fine. As long as everything was done. So after the frame was put together I ask the gentlemen if it's okay if they can put the bed on the frame to make sure it fit okay. But one of the gentlemen gave me the money sign with his hands and said it's gonna cost me extra. I'm 6 months pregnant and was planning on giving them a $40 tip. This has to be one of the best furniture stores in Sacramento! Special shout out to David who made this such a seamless and great experience for my partner and I! We spend our Labor Day weekend shopping around the Sacramento area for a good deal on a living room and dinning room set. No other furniture store came close to the deal David gave us at Furniture Co, so we had to come back and see him! We loved the fact we could 100% customize the sectional we had picked out from the showroom. The fabric, the pillows, the lay-out of the sectional, even the style of studs, we chose to our liking 100%. AND the turnaround from when the factory will make our custom piece to delivery is 12- business days. Which all other places quoted me anywhere from 4-12 weeks with an additional charge. This is the "hole in the wall" furniture store! It's so hidden but when you get there you'll be so amazed of all the different furniture they have. I have been looking for the right color and right size sofa for almost a month already and I heard of this place from a friend. Sir, your response is a complete lie. First of all you never offered me to pay for the visit. Which I had done just to have you here to see the problem. Secondly when I moved (just 3 months after the assemble done by your people) I noticed THEN that not original hardware were used on the assembly of each seat. I saved the screw head I found on the floor behind the couch and the other half is still stuck in the hole. Very cheap screws were used and the screws' head were cut off when couch is in use. These screws are for wood purpose not metal purpose! But if you insist on your lie about being my falt could please explain how the stitches are coming undone???? And how the hooks dont keep the couch connected???? This is not the first couch of my life and it does not take a rock scientist to disassemble a sectional couch. I will recommend Furniture Outlet to my friends and family for furniture purchases. Perhaps look around at the big stores, but BUY here! They carry most of the major brands like Ashley, Coaster, as well as others so chances are they can order what you want if it's not on the floor. Other reviews mentioned the store being in a shady area and call me tough, but this little 4'11" girl didn't bat an eyelash, neither did her anxious mother! The store is not large like some warehouse retailers but they maximize use of the space they have. There is a large inventory of beautiful quality furniture. I could tell the pieces were tastefully selected as I've been to some other stores where the furniture displayed were tacky and OOGLY, irregardless of cost. No pressure shopping/sales. Calm and honest people. Shawn was a pleasure to work with. He was happy to order the catalogue items that I wanted. He worked with me on the prices: matching other retailers. I was unsure of my mattress firmness preference and thickness of boxspring suitable for my bed design.
