The selection in the online posted pictures wasn't exactly what I was looking for but he showed me additional products that matched what I wanted perfectly. I discovered Furniture Elegance through Facebook Marketplace and dealt with the owner, Kamal. We went to his warehouse/showroom in North Highlands and fell in love with the same beautiful comfy sectional couch with storage ottoman he posted on FB Marketplace. We got an amazing deal for it at $550 for being brand new/straight from the box including delivery and assembly. CONS: They are kind of hard to get a hold of when you try to call them and there was a hiccup with the delivery dates/time but Kamal himself made things right by delivering it himself and compensating us for the inconvenience. I drove all the way up from Lodi after negotiating a price through Facebook marketplace on a dresser just listed. After arriving the employee called his boss and they would not honor the negotiated price and said the item was previously sold a few days ago. I informed him I just negotiated the deal with whoever advertised it for them and it was just posted that morning. This was a dresser by Ashley. Long story short they had the dresser in the back but were a bunch of weasels and I left without buying it and got a nice 2 hour drive out of it for nothing. I searched on Craigslist and FB Marketplace for days before finally going to this place in person. You know what? Beds are so cumbersome to transport, disassemble, and reassemble, and these prices are so fair, that I think it's well worth it to get them new! I'm paying the same or even less by getting them new from here (a kids' bunk bed with trundle and a mid-century modern queen). I most appreciate that Erica sat down with me and leaned through catalogs. She listened to what I was looking for and helped me find it. The catalogs have a TON to choose from, and I appreciate the personal service and knowledge. ********** Edit: My invoice said to allow 1-2 weeks for delivery, but now, 3.5 weeks later, part of our order still hasn't been delivered, but I'm so tired of Kamal saying he'll call me back but not, saying he'll deliver something but never coming, responding with excuses/reasons instead of apologizing, etc... I would rather just consider this order DONE and CLOSED rather than have to continue dealing with him. I ordered online elsewhere for cheaper, and at least now I know it will be delivered when it says. It's the same as ordering it from a catalog from Furniture Elegance because either way, I can't see/test the product first. But this way I don't wait around all day, only to call Kamal at 4pm and hear him explain why he won't deliver that day after all (with no apologies). Over and over. Erica was great in helping me at the warehouse, and Todd was kind, professional, and speedy in delivery and assembling. But Kamal, the owner, just can't manage his business and doesn't understand the need to communicate with or notify people or apologize for inconveniences. I can't count how many times he said he'd call me back but never did. And in total, there were 3 days when he said he'd deliver something but did not. I understand if his supplier can't get the product to him, he can't help that, but he NEEDS to inform the customer, so that they don't cancel work/plans to wait around! Also, be wary of 5 star reviews you see of them... they offer Starbucks gift cards or discounts in exchange for 5-star reviews. After my good experience at the warehouse, I agreed to it. So, true to my word, I'm keeping this review as 5 stars, but I want to inform other customers of their business practices so others can set their expectations appropriately. read more

Really bad customer service and will NOT return text or calls. So from the my 1st experience was not very great. We met with the lady with the dog and she informed us the owner was on his way, as he was the only one able to look up pricing for furniture in the catalogs. (No problem) we wait patiently. Finally he arrives and he shows us pricing and says he will be right back as he helps another client. We waited again for about 20 minutes and thr woman with the dog comes over and apologizes and say he will be with us shortly. He comes back over and he tells us what we want isn't in stock. He says he wants to check 1 more thing. We wait another 45 minutes. We get up to look for him and hes helping someone else. So we leave. No one acknowledges or says anything. Silly me, I decide to return a week later because I did in fact see a egg shape swing that I liked that while I was there. So the manager greets me and apologizes for the inconvenience stating he was short on help and he has been really busy. At that moment I decided to leave the let the 1st experience go. He was kind and honest. He had the guy bring the swing from the back. ( it wasn't assembled. It was wrapped in tarp and some sort of sheet/cloth material) He stated he will sell me the one I saw for $250.00 and said ok. ( they are NOT sold as a set) then I decided well I will get 2. He said ok that one is $250 as well. No problem ( Me assuming they will be identical in size) Long story short, They are not. He delievers them a day later... set them up.. leaves. After a few days we are ready to enjoy our swings and something isn't right. I look at them and I'm like they are 2 different sizes. One is so small an adult can not fully sit in it. So I called Furniture Elegance a few times before I finally got an answer. They lady with the dog picked up (I say that because I dont know her name. Not sure if she even mentioned it) I explain the situation about the swings not being the same size her response: "well they are considered a set so that's how they come. If I order another thats what will happen so I dont know what to tell you" However per my 1st visit it was told my the owner that they aren't a set. More so I've seen PLENTY of furniture places sell them. They are NOT sold as a set. In fact he had another gray one sitting there solo. So that was a lie. So I ask for the owner, she stated he wasn't in and try his cell. She gave me his cell number which I already had actually. So I reached out. Sent a text. Sent pics of the chairs....asking to order a bigger one no response. We kept the foam on it to maintain the condition.( See pics ) I was very kind. Offered to drop off and pick up myself. The part that makes it rather unfortunate is even if that was something that was not an option, atleast communicate that. Speak up, be honest. Not ignore a customer. The swing that I received is for a child. They are not identical and the fact that no one cared to follow up is POOR customer service and bad for business. I would not waste any time and or money on going here for them to just drop anything off and not take ownership for it. read more

They are low profiled furniture store located in the suburbs of Auburn-north highlands. Its like a small warehouse of furniture. I bought a bonded leather sofa set(3+2+1) and the price was reasonable. at least 10% less than any other store in town.They deliver and also assemble the furniture. I had an issue with the loveseat and they took it back and brought in a new loveseat. Would like to try other furniture stuff here in the future. read more

Cheap overpriced furniture, made from plywood, bad customer service!! Not upfront with you. I could go on especially from personal experience here. I would not waste my time at this place, go to a trusted name with quality at least. I bought "bedroom set" and "sectional" and I'm not happy with it, and oh spent over $1400 for cheap ass furniture.!!! I haven't even had the furniture for a year yet and there is already a broken handle on the dresser, the leg of the bed frame is breaking already. I have to start looking for a new bed frame soon. Very nice staff... Very helpful and didn't PUSH us to buy... They found the exact couch and bar stools we were looking for and set us up for delivery the next day... Rain caused a delay in delivery, but they were able to get it to us the very next day... We needed some stuff hauled away (old couch and chairs) and Kamal (the owner) was nice enough to drive out to my house and pick it up in his own personal pickup... AVOID THIS PLACE! We had a terrible experience here, it was not worth the couple of bucks we saved. We ordered a bed and matching dresser that was supposed to be "white glove delivery and setup" the day comes and no dresser (I guess it was backordered), the lady tells us we're first on the route for delivery with a window of 12-4. Of course 4 comes around and no call no show? Exactly what I wanted to spend my entire Saturday doing, waiting around for a flakey company. We call the place 3 times and finally get ahold of someone and they say they're leaving in 30 minutes. No call, no show. We try to call again and no answer, are they avoiding us? Finally the owner calls and says he's on his way and he'll be here in 15 minutes, long story short they show up hours later after a whole day of trying to get ahold of them. They finally get our bed delivered at 9:30pm!!! The owner promised he would provide us with some type of compensation for our troubles but we never saw that either, no surprise there. On to the dresser, they promised it would be delivered on 3 different days, the day would come and of course no call no show, we would call 3 or 4 times and they would say "didn't you already get that?", talk about frustrating! After telling the lady how disappointed we were, her excuse was "it just fell on you guys this time", what? How is that an acceptable excuse for crappy business and customer service as a whole. Horrible!! place there beds and mattresses are so cheap as in material wise didn't have my bed for not even a month and the wood started cracking mind you I'm 90 pounds and I came in for this because I had just given birth to my baby, at purchase time they promised a certain type of mattress and when the bed was finally delivered and all set up and we slept on it the 1st night we realized it wasn't the right Mattress so we got up early the next morning to call as soon as they opened and after multiple calls they finally answered and they knew exactly who i was because I gave them my invoice # and they looked me up and they just said can i put you on a quick hold so I stayed on hold for a whole hour and they never got back to me so i had to hang up because I don't have all day for them so I kept calling them every single day after that and they just kept doing the same exact thing each time putting me on hold for hours and not helping me at all just ignoring me. My first time in. I am big on customer service. I choose customer service over getting the best price. Brian posted an ad on fb and I got less than the ad price by $80 due to the labor day holiday. I visited the store and the owner Kamal honored the price Brain quoted me. Kamal was extremely kind and gave me exceptional customer serivce. Hard to find now days. He was able to make a same day delivery. I purchased my item at 330pm and they brought it at 700pm the same day. When Kamal's son arrived to my home to deliver my piece, he was VERY kind and patient. Helped brought the item in, set it up. It couldn't fit so he even helped taking taking my door of to get the item in and putting it back on. He was very patient and careful. He was even patient with my kids who were excited about the new piece. They were jumping all around him and asking a million questions. He calmly answered them all and waited for them to move out of his way. He even gave them motivating words to be safe and play nicely upon him leaving. He offered if i need anything to reach out to them. I will be returning to them. GOOD prices and the quality is GREAT!! The service is even better!! read more

Kamal persuaded me to buy a floor model and wait for them to order an ottoman from the manufacturer because it would be the same as buying new, he would take care of my sofa if there was any issues, and it would be more cost effective. He threw in free shipping and set up if I bought the floor model. I did if. Then, I had to help his men move the sofa in after they couldn't do it and slightly damaged the walls trying. I didn't say anything because I thought I got a deal and didn't want to be ungrateful. Flash forward 8 months, the seams of the sofa sectional have fabric tears at the seams. I called him looking for assistance as he promised and assured. I called his cell at least 2-3 times without a return call. I call his store and was told he was in the middle of a sale but would get a call back after he was done... that was 2 months ago. Kamal doesn't care about his customers.
