They delivered my bed frame refused to set it up wanted 99 cash then when they had to do it had on video them complaining the whole time.when they left they stole my dewalt drill I had it on camera. The owner refused to make things right even though I had a picture and video of them stealing it. My furniture came from them through a housing program. Two man delivery team were not getting along that day so they did not work as a team. Watched my Ashley sofa be carried and dragged by one person. Then in came the queen box spring and mattress by the other dude (not quite as pleasant). Both men struggled getting pieces through the standard size entry door. One pounded at the sofa arm with his fist... the other pulled, dragged and twisted at the bed frame and mattress.... no respect for the furniture. Biggest problem was the bed bug infested box spring. The bugs were all over my mattress quite quickly. I had to throw away bedding and spray the whole apartment. I took pictures of all my bites. Day two, even more bed bugs came out as I struggled with the mattress and box spring, all the way to the dumpster, alone. I still have the sofa but it's itchy. These guys basically dropped firewood and fabric to my apartment. Upon arrival I took pictures of all damages which the table had screws that had went through the wood in the bottom of the table their excuse was u bought a floor model secondly the couch had the cover on the bottom broken which I admittedly took pictures with delivery guys present. After further inspection the couch was broken wood at the bottom was actually broken. Thomas at the Forney store quickly blamed it on a Ashley furniture warranty problems. After only 2 days it became a warranty problem. I wouldn't recommend these guys for firewood let alone furniture. read more

I wish I could give them less than one star. On July 23 I made a purchase for my granddaughter's apartment. She was moving to Dallas to start a job on August 2, 2021. We made a purchase of a sofa, coffee table, end tables, bed and mattress. We set the delivery date for July 31, 2021 a whole week and one day from the date of purchase. The delivery was to be between noon and 6 p.m. After the ticket was drawn up Walter the salesman said he was knocking off $100 for the coffee table (more on this later). There were two delivery charges which supposedly was because it was two different rooms! About 5:40 on July 31, 2021 my granddaughter called and Walter said the truck broke and it would be Monday. My granddaughter was starting work on Monday and was unable to accept the delivery, so we (her grandparents) had to stay in town to wait for the delivery. I went by the store at 10 am on Monday, August 2 and asked to speak with the person in charge of delivery and he said they were leaving Forney and would be at her apartment by 11:00. They got there about 1:30. The coffee table had more scratches than it had on the store floor room. I think this was done intentionally. I have a picture of the table and I took that picture on July 23rd. It is clear it has more damage. Also, my ticket showed the sofa was a floor model, when I asked Walter about that he said the computer automatically showed that, but it is strange to me that the bedroom furniture did not automatically say that! I missed my August 2 appointment in Little Rock with my oncologist because I had to stay in Dallas to receive the delivery. We were intending to leave Dallas on Sunday, August 1, 2021. I have sent a demand which has gone without a response asking that they waive the delivery fees, find another table at some other store and and also send me $100 for my inconvenience. I don't think that is asking too much. Walter kept saying he can give my granddaughter a store credit which is not acceptable, she doesn't need anything else. I am going to file a complaint with any and everyone I can. A very frustrated grandparent. read more

We ordered a couch/love seat combination that was on sale. There was only one gentleman working that day and they were busy. We were patient and he was apologetic. He stated one price was available and could be reserved but the other would have to be ordered. We should know within 7 days when it would be delivered. The delivery charge is $99. So if we had them deliver the loveseat and couch separately, it would have been 2 different delivery charges. So we decided to wait the 7 days. It was 14 days before we heard anything about the furniture. I called almost daily to check and they seemed agitated. However, I don't appreciate being told 7 days and it taking 14. By the time they finally got the furniture in, then it couldn't be delivered for another 5 days. I would recommend that if you purchase from them, if the items are not in stock, you may want to consider going somewhere else. The deliver guys were nice and cleaned up after themselves. I called and talked to Randy and made the short drive over I wanted to support a local business for my furniture needs but I was a little skeptical. My son and I were actually looking for a sofa bed since he was forced home early from college. We ended up going with something different but the quality of the furniture plus the friendliness of the staff made it a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place for your furniture needs. Upon delivery of my purchase the men who delivered my purchase were very helpful in explaining how it worked and how to disassemble when I'm ready to move again. Hi ho hi ho it's off to the consumer protection bureau I go. So we ordered a chair, Ottoman, and recliner on February 24, 2021. Walter, our salesman, said everything would be in in two weeks. Imagine our surprise when two weeks later nothing was in. He told us to call back in four weeks. We called back again and guess what, still no furniture. This dance went on for almost 6 months. During that time, to try to compensate us for our frustration, Walter told us that we would receive 20% off of our orders. We asked for more to include delivery cost but decided we could live with that and appreciated the effort. Fast forward Monday, August 2. We finally had our furniture delivered two days earlier (July 31) and had to wait until Monday for Walter to contact his headquarters office to get our 20% back. Here is where the bait and switch comes in to play... even though we have Walter on voice message saying 20% off of our furniture, he backpedaled and said it was only being given on the Ottoman and the chair. Now we're playing word games and they don't want to give us the 20% off of the recliner as well. It's bad enough that you lied to us and said two weeks but then you're selecting which pieces of furniture you want to give 20% off. I will be filing a complaint with the consumer fraud and the Better Business Bureau. We will never, ever, ever do business with this company again and I will make sure that everyone I know will stay away from them as well. read more

I called, wanted a bedroom set that was in stock and did not have to order it. I spoke with Kyle, he said yes, they had the set and it was in stock. It came in two colors, white and brown. I told him brown. I gave him my card to purchase. He called me back said the brown was not in stock, he made a mistake and looked and the white was in stock. I told him I could not wait, to not charge me, and I would see if I could find it locally. He said it would be available May 28th. Well, they charged my card, told me a few days later the items were in. I specifically said I do not want to order it, and they did it anyway. They don't care about you as a customer, they just care about NO RETURN POLICY, 35% restock fee, after reading this, I definitely said forget it....but they did not care, they charged my card anyway, and that was too bad. If I don't want the set, at 35% restock fee applies to something i did not order. Not sure what these other people are talking about, but Walter (the only salesman) at the business did a great job with little to no help! I ordered a recliner and a bedroom set. The bedroom set was in stock, however the recliner was not so Walter had to order it. Knowing how the world is today, I understood that I might not get my order in the time but Walter told me I would. When the time came, he called and told me the order was delayed. At first I was upset, because we live in a world / society where we want everything immediately, right when we order it. Then I realized, everything else I've ordered besides Amazon was and has been delayed due to the shipping crisis. Walter was very helpful and contacted me every step of the way. I understood it wasn't his fault. I wouldn't listen to these negative people who talk about a scam, how is buying furniture and it being delayed a scam. It's a process people and a small business that needs people to go in and buy furniture so it could survive in this only for the rich economy! Would recommend because of how personal our interaction was. I don't get that sort of interaction with bigger businesses because I'm usually the one calling them all the time. The salesperson, Ron, waited on me and my family and he was friendly, helpful, and gave us a fair price. My only issue -- and the thing keeping me from giving more stars, is: their return policy. There is none. I ordered a twin mattress (that was in-stock) and a twin platform frame (that was not) and paid for both. About 30 minutes after the sale, I thought I'd just go ahead and use the frame we already had -- so, I called Ron and asked him if I could cancel the platform frame (since it was not in stock, and would not arrive for 4 more days). Ron, bless his heart, said that he is not allowed to issue refunds and that to get a refund, he'd have to call his boss to come in issue it. Then he told me to 'read my receipt'...and sure enough...there it was: "NO REFUNDS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL". He said he *might* be able to issue a refund - but he'd have to charge me a 35% restocking fee (35% to "restock" an item that they didn't actually have in stock. Um, okay...). Ultimately, bottom line is: that we signed the receipt. It says what it says, so we have to abide by the agreement. I get that. I just wanted to let Yelpers know: be 100% sure of what you purchase -- because you will be stuck with it, since: "NO REFUNDS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL". sidenote: There was no floor model of the platform frame we purchased, so we ordered from a picture. It's a small store and they don't have room for a lot of floor models, so they sell most of their merchandise from pictures (either in printed catalogs or on their digital kiosk). Just make sure that you are 100% comfortable ordering and paying in advance this way -- in light of their return policy (or lack thereof). read more

I gave this company one star, however they actually deserve NO stars. These people have the worst customer service I have EVER seen. I saved money to purchase new furniture and shopped around and decided to use this company because they seemed to have the best furniture for the best prices and the customer service was awesome BEFORE the sale, but as anyone in sales knows, it's how you are treated AFTER the sale is what really counts. First of all I was given a delivery date that I should expect my furniture, when that did not take place (after I took off work) I called and was treated horribly. The tone of the person that sold me the furniture was totally different and he went on to tell me that I misunderstood the delivery date. Any woman knows that when we are expecting new furniture, we will know exactly when we are told it will be delivered. Finally after being told several delivery dates that did not happen, I asked for a refund and was basically taunted about not being able to get a refund because of the receipt I signed saying "no refunds". What reputable company would not give an unsatisfied customer a full refund with a receipt????? 2 weeks later, they finally delivered my furniture and one of the legs on my new dining room table was busted (in the box). The delivery guy said "Ma'am, I could either bring you another chair the next time I'm out this way or put a big screw to hold that leg together" OMG are you serious??? I just paid all this money for this new table and you're offering to put a screw in the leg to hold it together??? Ok...when can you bring me another NEW chair?? His response "I don't know" So, the next day I called the owners son and he apologized and said this is not normal practice for his company and went on and on about the customer service not being acceptable and how he was going to take this serious and I only needed to deal with him directly from now on. He said "Next Wednesday I will PERSONALLY go pick up your chair and you can come pick it up on Thursday. I will be working at the store in Garland. Well....with the history I have had with this company and the lack of trust thus far, I called to see what time my chair would be ready today. I called the store in Dallas where Andrew (owners son) normally works and was told he was off today (shocker). I called the other store (Garland) and spoke with Michael and he said he called to verify that my chair is here but not yet at his store, that may or may not happen today....This company lost my business for future purchases and anyone else that I can tell about this experience. Companies need to be more selective in choosing people to run their business. This could have been handled a completely different way with simple patience and understanding and good old fashioned Customer Service!! read more

There are several locations of Furniture One and I chose to visit this location based on positive reviews for the other stores. Buying furniture is always a dilemma as you don't always get the quality you pay for, especially at the large chains (Rooms to Go, etc). I came by on a weekday evening looking to upgrade to a king bed from our queen, which used to be fine but I wanted more space. The owner was very helpful and showed me the frames and mattresses in stock. Pricing was extremely fair for the quality and much better than the large chains mentioned above. My wife and I returned later that evening and purchased a king mattress set and frame. Although I didn't need it, they do offer interest free financing. Our bed was delivered exactly on time a few days later as promised. The best part is they delivered and assembled the new bed, and hauled away the old one for a very reasonable fee. All I had to do was relax in my new bed! A stress-free experience with great service and pricing. I will come here first for future furniture needs. read more
