Poor customer service. Promised over the phone and lied when we got there. Showroom missing items rep said would be there. Said they were discounted defective merchandise that was in warehouse but not sold in store. Why even use these clowns the markup with Broncos, nascar, and cable shows sponsoring them is ridiculous. THE WORST! At Oak Express - the sales people had no clue what was going on. We purchased two stools and after the second time driving up to pick them up and finding that they had the wrong stools on hold for us, they tell us that the stools we wanted were discontinued and the only one they have available for sale is the single one on the floor. To get to this point, it took about a month and a half our time. Meanwhile, we purchased a couch from Sofa Mart. NOTE, they do not refund your money at all. All you can get (after making such a large purchase) is a store credit.... Macy's on the other hand will deliver a couch and let you try it out for three days before you are locked in. I called THEM after seven weeks of waiting and was told that our couch was ready, but they didn't have an available delivery date for another three weeks. TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE STORE read more

We stopped in to Sofa Mart yesterday and found that the quality of the couches left much to be desired. We had a lot of questions about the build of the couches and when we said that we'd had bad experiences with the "sinuous" construction - the sales person became catty with us and even said, "I'll see if I can find something that is better made - in your opinion." She then said that we wouldn't find anything that we were looking for there and basically, if we weren't willing to settle with their crap products, we'd have to go to Woodley's and pay more. So, that's what we did - we went to Woodley's, got much better service, viewed a much better selection of much better made products, and bought a fantastic couch. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, unless they don't care about quality and they're willing to replace their furniture every year. read more

Just purchased the Trinity couch from the uber helpful sales rep Serena. She spent a lot of time helping us decipher fabrics, patterns, craftsmanship, and he even looked at our color scheme choices at home to ensure everything would compliment our design. She was very knowledgeable and took time to make sure we got what we wanted. read more

I live in the state of Colorado. Two years ago my husband and I purchased a Cloud dark brown leather sectional from Sofa Mart. We bought it because there was a warranty for five years. Unfortunately the warrantee for this leather sectional expires after one year. So now we have an expensive sectional that in five separate places the color is coming off of the leather. I sent Sofa Mart an email and I also called the store that we bought it from. The woman told me that the warranty on the leather expires after one year and that I would have to pay to restore the leather myself. The quote I got was $250 to fix it . Remember this leather sofa that was very expensive is only two years old. My advice do not buy this Cloud leather sofa or sectional ... do not buy from Sofa Mart. They do not stand behind what they sell. So $3000 later I have a sectional that looks worn and cheap. Do not buy! read more

Drove by Furniture Row on north I-25 and decided to stop in for a quick look. Within 5 minutes JoAnn found the perfect chest for my bedroom. Had to quickly leave for an appointment. I called FR back two days later to get more info on dimensions and talked with Holly and Zach. They knew exactly the piece I was talking about. Zach sent me pictures and dimensions. I called him back and bought it over the phone and scheduled delivery. So glad I stopped that day. read more

Purchased our sofas at the beginning of February and didn't receive all pieces until the end of April!!! Even though they had us pay for everything upfront, there was no consequence for them messing up our order and taking two and a half months to deliver everything. Not even an offer of a discount for the inconvenience and lack of communication. When we called to see what was going on, we got the run around - and passed around to four different sales associates/managers. Unless you want to pay full price, months in advance and experience below average customer service, I would go elsewhere. read more

Ordered a couch on June 3rd, and it was supposed to be delivered on June 16th. We were supposed to receive a call the night before confirming the time, but when we hadn't heard we called. I was informed very rudely that they couldn't deliver a couch they didn't have. Three phone calls later, I finally got in touch wi th a manager and found out the associate had sold us a couch that hadn't been confirmed for delivery to the store, and she assured us that was not how they did business and apologized and said she waived the delivery fee after I asked for it to be taken off our total for our troubles. We've been calling every couple days to find out the status and somehow no one knows where these couches are still. It's now July 1st. Still no one knows, and no one will stay in contact with us so we keep having to call them. This has been the worst furniture buying experience of my life. Stay away. read more

I purchased a book shelf for the high school library. I was pleased with the service I received in the store.However, I specifically said I needed delivery before 3:30 as school closes. When I received my delivery confirmation the estimated window for delivery was 3:30 to 6:00. I tried to call the store early in the morning but they weren't opened also, there was no way to leave a message or a way to contact the delivery people. read more

Stopped in here to try and find a new bed and mattress for my 5 year old daughter. Everything seems really expensive for the quality of it. My dad and I wandered around looking for about half an hour with out being helped once. We finally found someone and asked for help. I dont remember her name, but she was a short, trollish woman who stood with her hands under her armpits while she talked to us. We were asking about some of the beds on clearance and she couldn't answer any of our questions and acted like she didn't want to be bothered. Never smiled, never offered to find someone who could help us, nothing. We left and went to see your competitor up the road. Within 10 minutes we had someone helping us out and we were in and out of there in under 45 minutes with a kid bed and mattress for under $250. The Furniture Row guys really need to get it together if they want to make a sale. You also need to reexamine your prices. Same quality as your competitor but a lot more expensive. read more

We made the mistake of purchasing a sofa set from Furniture Row and now I am dealing with a repair that needs to be made less than 6 months from the purchase date. NEVER buy anything from them they are terrible to deal with. Upon delivery of our furniture they tried to leave second hand furniture in my house. The delivery team mentioned that they do this to customers all the time. Finally got that squared up with a lot of calls and battles. Now I'm dealing with a repair and they did not show up on time as they said they would the night before. Such a headache!!! read more

Sofa mart was our first stop when looking for our first set of furniture. We did look at a few other stores around Denver and soon found our selves right back at sofa mart off I 25 in dacono. Hayes is a real professional! He knew his products , had a smile on the whole time and found us just what we were looking for. Sofa mart surpassed my expectations of the furniture buying process. I'm in sales my self and I learned something from this guy. If your looking for a good product, friendly sales staff, and great prices I highly suggest going to see Hayes at sofa mart. Gina worked with us to re-design rooms in our house and her suggestions were great! Furniture was delivered ahead of scheduled delivery date and looked as good as in her design plan. Although when we bought the furniture it was a great experience the sales lady was so helpful and made it fun. The reason for my one star is that when l went and picked up my chair and rug there was only one guy in the warehouse to load it. At first l could not find anyone. .and it was a snowy saturday and all the walk ways were not deared and very icy. I finally went to the sales floor and some girl came back to help. She looked at me and said well let's load this up.. really? I thought she was joking at first but in the end l had to help load my own stuff. It was just awful. The salespeople here know nothing of the furniture, and they have several different prices listed for one set, and refuse to honor the lowest price. The management is catty and act as if you are doing them a favor, when the reality is there are hundreds of other furniture centers around and one of them will be receiving my business. read more

This is the very first time I am posting on any social media to complain because I do not feel it is right to bash a business but I am beyond furious that this warrants a post. I will NOT WASTE my time explaining how horrible of an experience I have had with this store but I know that the Dacono location in Colorado (also confirmed by other YELP users) is there to get your money and give promise after promise without any guarantee on when the furniture will arrive. We ordered a sofa set (Invoice number # 253-0058859) on June 3rd promised to received without any problems on July 3rd. Of course we show up to pick up the furniture, all of a sudden part of the order is out of stock and supposedly the "new couch" came unwrapped and had imperfections, while every other piece was boxed. We told them we wanted a new one. After a lengthy and confusing process, we FINALLY got them to agreed to give us a brand new couch - Promised delivery - mid July (the 17th to be exact- as stated on the invoice). Guess what?!!? Its July 17th and once again the "manager" who sold us the whole set (David) ignores my request to call me back and fails to give an exact date. Today (the 17TH ) I called and when I pressured the store associate about telling me WHY the new date of delivery (when the new couch is in stock) will be at my home on August 6th- she replies " Im just filling in." All of these worthless souls are incompetent and Im wondering at this point if ANYONE gives a crap. I will ALWAYS mention to ANYONE even remotely asking where to buy furniture this avoid this store with a 10 foot pole... and as far as David is concerned he is the most grotesque, unprofessional, defective, undependable individual I have EVER met in my life (showing up at work after the gym walking around in dirty socks). I went to Sofamart because I fell in love with a chair I had seen online. It was a long drive, but the manager, David was super helpful, albeit a 17 day waiting period to have the chair delivered. I was not thrilled about this. When the delivery day came, I was supposed to get a call with a delivery time, which I didn't get. So I called the store, spoke to another mgr., Stephanie, who told me there was an error and my chair was not on the schedule and that the next delivery date was 16 days out. This would be over a month total. Needless to say I was PISSED, and said this was unacceptable. I began looking for info on Sofamart corporate headquarters to complain. But then Stephanie called back, and said (original) mgr. David would deliver it HIMSELF, on HIS DAY OFF. Which he did. This was an excellent way to solve the problem, and I am thrilled. So, for all the times this place may have screwed up w/other customers, they are SOLID in my book. Kudos. read more

I was sold a 'Lost Leader' Sofa set and the salesman had accidentally mis-marked the product name and the store ran out of sets and could not deliver the Great Value that I bought. What happened next was 'Positively Outrageous Service' (from T. Scott Gross's book). After being frustrated with the mistake and loosing out on the 'Good Deal' I voiced my frustration to the Regional Manager who called me promptly and most Graciously listened and then she assigned my problem to the Store Manager who followed up. The Manager could have just refunded my transaction and I would have lost out on the 'Good Deal', but she offered me another two other sets that were much more money at the same 'Good Deal' pricing and kept me from loosing out on the deal. I was impressed that they did not take the easy route out and, instead, wanted to make sure I was happy with the transaction.
