I purchased a mattress, made arrangements to have it delivered on a Thursday. Never showed up. I called and they said "Oh, that's Friday." I wrote the time and date while I was standing in the store. So it was supposed to be delivered at 9:30 am. when 10:00 am came and went, I called -again- and was told they didn't even open so they couldn't possibly have told me 9:30. What an inconvenience and hassle! AND they charged me $80 for the privilege. I don't like being told I'm wrong when I'm not. Nor do I like being inconvenienced twice. Couch they delivered has a HUGE SAG in the middle . That was 12/22 , now 2/21/23 . Still no couch . Contact the Attorney General and the BBB. Said it would be this week , but upon calling them said sometime in March ! Really ??? At this point I just want our money back . Contacted a lawyer , now let's see what happens! read more

Actually I would give zero stars if I could. My stepmom bought me a rather expensive recliner built for large people. It broke within two months. Called, two months and countless phone calls later, a repairman shows up, says, two weeks, I'll be back. Two months later (and a report to the BBB) he shoes up and has the nerve to charge my stepmom $65 to fix it! Grand total $850+$50delivery+$50tax+$65repair=$1015!! Never ever again will I purchase as much as a lamp from this place. We purchased a sectional sofa and had issues with the recliner not working correctly. It took 8 weeks for Dave to correct it. We just recently had the pull mechanism on an armless recliner break, and it was still under warranty. We called Dave and he needed the serial number and model number off the defective chair. I had to take apart the entire sectional to obtain the requested information. He then informed me he would contact the company to obtain the required replacement equipment and it should take 4-6 weeks to come in. Upon the arrival of the replacement mechanism, his repair agent, Earl would be calling us to set up an appointment to come fix it. I contacted Dave in late June, he told me that part wasn't ordered and it would take 6 weeks to come in. I reminded him of the situation and he informed me he had misplaced the numbers, but said they should be in my file. I waited 2 more weeks and went to the store and was told again it would take 6 weeks. read more

Ordered furniture from here.. delivery set for Saturday 11-1p. No show. Call them at 1:05p to see what's the deal. Their delivery guy called in, and they never thought to notify us. Decided that after the fact, and after a phone call they figure that it might be a good idea to call another person in to do the delivery. It shouldn't be the customer's job to problem solve. And it might be a good idea to communicate with the customer so they don't waste part of their Saturday waiting for a delivery they had scheduled. read more

Our experience with Furniture Weekend was ultimately different than those described in these reviews. We had a problem with a recliner and David did his best to arrange for the repair at a very reasonable price. He was very 'hands on' in trying to address the problem. I have dealt with this place 2 times now over the years and all I can say is the worst service EVER! It's not for items for myself that I have had to pickup and deal with them. However, they are VERY rude, they do not tell you all the details they need to for your orders and actually laughed at me due to their miscommunication with a large order. read more

Two plus years after purchase of a top of the line power lift chair, I was in need of warranty service for broken bolts holding chair back. After contacting factory about situation, I was told I had to go thru my selling dealer for service. Five working days later, dealer still had not contacted factory for replacement bolts. I was lied to by dealer when I called to find out about the status of repair. Factory ended up sending me parts and I repaired the chair myself. Now 3 months later, I am in need of service for a defective hand control and dealer again provides NO follow up service. Contacted factory, and again part is being sent to me to make repair.
