After 18 months, our loveseat ripped. We were stuck between the furniture store and the company, Guardsman, that did their warranty work. Guardsman kept saying the store needed to contact them and fill out "registration" information and the store kept telling us that they already had the information. After multiple calls to Guardsman and several trips to Furniture World, we went to MOR furniture and replaced the item. MOR has a different warranty company. $1,000 loveseat went to the dump. read more

Stopped here to do some home furniture shopping and enjoyed the stop. Located on State in a spacious building with a great showroom. Furniture of all types and of good quality. Pricing is higher then what you would pay at Ikea but quality is better and they are local. Will have to stop here again to see how the store has changed since. Noticeable storefront with parking upfront. Staff was friendly but did not see many of them. It is one thing to shop online and another to shop in person. You can see the actual color, feel the quality, assess the weight and easier to imagine it at your home. You are shopping for furniture so you want to take your time and buy quality goods. You won't be switching out your couches or media center every 5 years like your cell phone. Recommend this place. There are not many dedicated furniture stores so glad to have found this place. read more

My family and I just moved into our very first house here in Marysville, and we wanted to patronize a local business when buying the furniture, so we came to furniture world. The store is great, the salesmen are great. Very low pressure, and great prices. We bought a sectional couch with ottoman and a beautiful dining set. But here's the rub: it takes forever and a day (2-3 weeks!!) to have your furniture delivered!! I know Amazon Prime has made us all a bit impatient, but holy smokes, it's been nearly 2 weeks, and my very pregnant booty would love to not still be eating standing over the sink! I'll update when we actually receive our furniture, but so far, seriously rethinking our choice to not go to Ikea this time around. Update 7/14 We finally received our furniture today, 3 weeks after purchase. The delivery window was 11-3 and they showed up at 3:45 after a phone call saying they'd be an hour late. The two gentleman who delivered and assembled the furniture took good care of our belongings and property, and were very courteous. Though, one of the chairs wobbles. We love our new furniture! Thank you so much for sending us to Bry's for a sofa table! We received friendly, awesome service; at Bry's, in Marysville. We left, purchasing a beautiful table, from Bry's. Complete opposite after stepping foot in Furniture World. Just asking a question, once we were finally acknowledged; we were told "up to you, employee shrugged and then said have a good day and walked off". We had been looking for the last two years for a 100% down filled cushion couch. We had one 5 years ago and loved it. All we can find in these furniture stores today is feather wrapped foam core cushions. After explaining what we were looking for to the salesman and making it clear we did not want foam core he said he had 3 100% down filled couches to choose from. We picked the model we liked and ordered it. It took 2 months to arrive. After it was delivered and set up, we sat on it. Extremely uncomfortable. Unzipped to cushions to find 5 inch thick foam inserts. Furniture World now says foam is the only way they come. They refuse to return ALL of our money and are charging a 25% restock fee. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company. read more

We found one set we really liked, but it would be a 6-month wait so we kept looking. We found another set we liked and were informed that delivery would be 4 days from the date of purchase as the set we chose was in stock at their warehouse. I purchased a love seat recliner set from Furniture World well over a year ago. We love the recliner with its electronic recline and recover. Great comfort, appearance and remarkably stain proof and durable fabric. A couple of weeks ago our 5 year old grandson was visiting. Like most 5 year old boys he loves pushing the recliner button. Somehow, the cord hung up and ripped out stranding the recliner in full open. I called Furniture World for help. They referred me to Nicole.who guided me to obtain the manufacturer's serial number . I forwarded pictures and after several conversations, Nicole identified the needed replacement part and had the manufacturer forward the replacement to my home. After an easy installation, love seat worked as good as new. And the best news, as a courtesy, no charge. Concluding, Furniture World provided me a great recliner for a fraction of what the brand name store wanted to charge. Then provided great aftermarket support when I had a, problem. If you want a couch that lasts and have a good customer service experience, go elsewhere. I regret purchasing my sectional here. Firstly, upon delivery they cracked the door jam and chipped big paint chunks off the side. This is a rental. Now we are responsible for this damage that delivery boys caused. 2nd thing- they only want your money and to get you out the door. They don't stand by their products they sell. I don't recommend anyone to get furniture here. Within 4 months, the back of our couch had a huge rip along the seam. Clearly from not being sewn right to begin with. 3rd- all of the cushion covers besides one has huge rips on them! This is such bad quality. These happened less than a YEAR after purchase. About 6 months ago I tried calling to see how much replacement cushion covers would be. No return call. Called again, they said theyd have someone call me back. 2 almost 3 weeks later I get someone calling me back, and they say they are almost $100 bucks a piece. Now this has 6 cushions that need to be replaced. Such a bad experience. If you want good customer service, good product, avoid this place!!! read more

Two years later we returned and bought a memory foam mattress! LOVED IT! About four years later, we saw Jeff at the Marysville store and bought a bunk bed that my kid and friends loved and could not break! In November 2017, we bought mother memory foam bed from Jeff at the Furniture World in Marysville! It's AMAZING! Today, we just received our second and third sofas from Furniture World, and they're AMAZING! I highly recommend seeing Jeff Raymond at the Marysville store for all of your furniture needs! They have an incredible selection in their showroom and unlimited options that can be ordered. We ordered two custom couches from their Stanton line, which were both VERY affordable! Both sofas are incredibly comfortable and the fabric is very resilient to kids, pets, and life in general! The entire experience was 100% positive! Professional sales and delivery team! Hands down the best place to buy furniture! We chose to do the custom Stanton line so that we could optimize the space in our rooms and have enough seating for everybody during family gatherings and on holidays! Jeff helped us select fabric that would be good for pets and kids. We wanted something that pet hair could easily come off of rather than imbed into the fabric, and that's exactly what we received! Both sofas are incredibly comfortable! The lighter one in the first two pictures is very elegant, yet incredibly soft and cozy! The darker one in the second two pictures has fully motorized foot rest and headrests in each piece! This is perfect for our family/media room! The fabric is incredibly soft and cozy, and the cupholders and console storage are great for containing beverages and snacks for watching movies! Wow! Eddie, and Wayne are the best people to work with here at furniture world Marysville. We put in an order on a couch that was in stock. There was a couple of price discrepancies and we weren't upset or anything we just wanted the best price possible. When we brought it to their attention, we had originally wanted to do a cancellation but Eddie and Wayne did everything in their power to assist and satisfy our needs. They even called their general manager Jeff who chose to honor a price match for us. Because of the price discrepancy we felt like we didn't want order from them anymore but the service was what made us stay. Eddie and Wayne gave stellar customer service. We purchased several pieces of furniture in September 2014. Eddie was our salesman. He was friendly and helped us find what we were looking for. We purchased a couch and round chair set, a bench kitchen table, and mattress for my son. We were happy with the sames a cash financing. We had a hiccup with the delivery but all in all, we were happy. In the summer of 2017, we brought in a 2 year old female cat. Long story short, the cat decided to use our couch as a cat box. I called the store in tears that day and talked to Eddie. I was asking if we had any warranty on our couch. We had a warranty but the warranty does not cover "smells". Eddie could tell I was upset and beside myself. He gave me some good ideas to help get my couch back in shape. I asked him about replacing the cushions and what the cost would be. Eddie, sent me replacement cushions for my couch at no charge! He remembered us from almost fours year ago and was feeling my pain with the cat ordeal. I got new couch cushions and the cat got a new home, I hope. read more

Just run away now. I had hopes for this place as I had purchased a couch from them when they had the Everett location years ago. The delivery from those men ik. But my friend who has had numerous deliveries from the Marysville branch raved about the delivery guys, one who had been a repeat delivery and how well he did. With covid and a cancer patient at my home I have to be extra careful where I go and the steps I take. So I called the store hoping to get some information. I was looking for a recliner that that had some specific extras to it. Guy kept telling me to come on it and I explained my situation and why I was trying to contact the store this way. Lots of sighing on the phone by someone who identified as the manager. Really professional.... He said he had a few options that matched what I was looking for I asked if he could email me some stats on it. He said yes and then I asked if I could request a specific delivery person as my friend who has gotten many deliveries from this branch has raved about this guy going above and beyond. His answer? "what does that matter as long as you get your product." I was taken back and explained that when I had purchased a couch years ago from the Everett branch prior to closing that the delivery guys were the worst ones I had ever dealt with. Kept talking about how many customers would get them drunk and then they'd go continue to delivering items. Kept trying to get a bigger tip out of us then resorted to trying to get a bottle of tequila out of us." I said if they were that way then I def don't want them now. Explained that with an immune compromised person that I would need to make sure some precautions were taken so I can make sure germs aren't brought in. new shoe covers, need to make sure chair is wrapped so I can leave it sitting for a few days outside of the main living area etc. The guy laughed at me and said, "Well that wasn't our business." I assured him it was Furniture world in Everett from years ago and I still had the receipt with the business name on it. He sighed again and asked for who I wanted. I said you, "I was told to ask for a guy named Joe." Big sigh by irritated laugh, "ya that's not gonna happen." Um... why not? "o he got hurt and claims it's worse than it is." O no I hope he's ok! "ya well multiple broken bones, needed surgery." UM I'M SORRY CLAIMS ITS WORSE THAN IT IS! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? NICE BOSS.... So he says he'll email me some stuff. Well the first email I get... "O just something fishing for information." WTheck... followed by another email with a completely different tone with available chairs they had. None of which actually had a main thing I wanted. I've lived in Marysville 20 years and have visited Furniture World twice. Once, for recliners, once, for a dining set. I never bought anything there, however, because BOTH TIMES the sales staff approached me like I was unwanted in the store, and I was treated as if I had no money - I was essentially dismissed as a customer. I am just a normal-looking working-class person, not overly clean-cut and not overly sloppy. Both times I visited the store I was in jeans and t-shirt. I can also attest that BOTH TIMES I visited Furniture World - and was blown off - I had plenty of money and was ready to spend. I ended up going into Everett and buying from McPherson's. read more

I ordered my furniture from the Oak Harbor store because it had better reviews. Unfortunately the delivery was made from this store and it was ridiculously bad. They arrived at the end of their 4 hr delivery window at 6:30pm and sent 3rd party movers (who did a decent job). The furniture was supposed to be assembled ahead of time which it wasn't. They were in my house until 9:15pm assembling furniture and I was pretty angry. To add to that, one of the pieces was damaged and had to be replaced. They would have found it in the store if it had been assembled in advance. I had to wait an additional 3-4 weeks for redelivery and the delivery manager showed no urgency in getting it to me, even trying his 4 hr window garbage again. I called the Oak Harbor store manager for resolution and he called them to fix the issue. The delivery manager at the Marysville store really needs to be replaced, he doesn't know what customer service looks like or how to hire the right staff. Can't say that I would buy any more furniture from this company even though the Oak Harbor store did well on the ordering part and the manager, Shawn, worked hard to fix the issues. read more

This is our 3rd purchase from this store. We've always had a good experience here. This was our largest purchase yet (Couches, Coffee Table, End Tables and Kitchen table) and we were able to work with the owner, Jeff, who gave us a smoking deal plus 0% financing. The quality of the product (Stanton) is very good, the furniture looks great in our living room, and my wife and I are very pleased. You may not get a high pressure stalker in a suit that follows you around the store, or even the popcorn and cookies........and soda, like another local store, but you get the savings on good products. So after you make your purchase, take a drive to the competitor and walk around the store with your popcorn, cookies and soda, sit on the couch you just bought and take a look at the price tag, and then pat yourself on the back, if you have a spare hand. (Popcorn, cookies and soda and I'm out of hands) Jeff, you should get some popcorn, cookies and a soda machine! =) read more

BUYER BEWARE: Staff are friendly and helpful enough, but what's the deal with 'ALL SALES FINAL - NO RETURNS?!?!' This is the year 2019. Why would I want to buy something and not be able to return it when all of the chain and online stores (as well as most 'Mom & Pop') Offer 30-180 day customer satisfaction guaranteed? Would have made a $3,000.00 purchase there today if I was able to return the product if it didn't work out for me. Unfortunately for the store, their 'Dinosaur' policies caused me to shop elsewhere. Here's a little advice for management: put the customer first and the profits will increase. No one wants to feel swindled or exploited. Excellent service! I purchased a dining table that had a broken piece. I thought it was going to be a big hassle. But I made a call and they took care of me immediately . My sister, husband and I wandered into this store several weekends ago. My sister found over $1,000 worth of furniture that she was planning to order as soon as her remodel is done at home. That day she bought a small item and after she got it home and began to use it was unhappy with it. She called the store and got their bottom line which is this-regardless of the issue Furniture World will not accept returns, issue refunds or exchanges for any reason. All sales are final. I drove from Seattle to Marysville because this particular store had a floor model of a sofa I was interested in. I really wanted to buy the sofa, but was afraid from looking at it that it may not fit through the door to my apartment (it is a high back sofa). I wasn't sure what to do, but then Jeff the owner guaranteed that the sofa would fit into my apartment or I would get my money back, and he wrote as such on my receipt. The delivery guys were on time, and somehow found an ingenious way to get the sofa through the door. They even set up the sofa for me for free even though I hadn't paid for that service. I live in Marysville and pass Furniture World constantly. I can tell you this place Moves a ton of furniture. The recycle bins are always stuffed with cardboard boxes and the delverly truck seems to always be delivering new product. They run the 'tent sale" often as well. We bought a Ashley 4 seat dining room table with padded chairs for $499. An average price, not a killer deal but we are happy with it. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I will never shop with furniture world superstore again. The service was abysmal and so are the workers. I have never been treated with such blatant disrespect and animosity. Constantly being lied to and inconvenienced, as well as spoken to condescendingly when I bring it to their attention that none of what was expressed to me came to fruition. I purchased a platform bed and mattress on 10/1/2020. Danielle was the service provider and not only did she not give a definitive date as to when my purchase would be delivered, she claimed that my item was in stock and that I would pay $99 for set up and delivery. Contrary to what she verbally told myself and my associate, she wrote on the invoice that the item was a special order and that it was delivery only. I'm not sure what kind of shady business you practice but it would behoove your workers to be honest and upfront. Mid-October turned into the end of October and there was no set up. I will never return to this deplorable business and I wouldn't recommend this store to my worst enemy. I should've went to Ashley Furniture Store, a real furniture store, that's at least reputable. I will scream to the mountain tops to everyone I encounter not to ever do business with furniture world superstore. If I could get away with giving 0 stars I would. I LOVE Furniture World!!!! Bought an Ashley couch from them in 2014, love it so much we went back a few weeks ago to get another for our family room. My boys have worn out the previous couch foam in the meantime. I inquired if I could possibly get replacement cushions for it. Jessica checked and shipped them to my home free of charge! I was so happy I almost cried! So now we have 2 couches, new cushions, and we'll be heading back soon for a mattress set. Just want to thank Ashley for her Amazing customer service. We bought leather reclining couches 2 plus years ago with the extended warranty. They are horrible quality breaking and called in a few months after warranty expired. Her and the owner went to the mfg and fought a tough battle.
