My biggest concern was unnecessary tooth extractions, but they assured me the doctor would examine Duke, call me first, and we'd make any decisions together. I really appreciated that conservative approach. The office is welcoming and calming, and the staff was amazing. Duke is usually very anxious at the vet, but he didn't cry once during his visit. The doctor was honest and reassuring, letting me know his teeth weren't nearly as bad as I thought. He ended up not needing any extractions (just one loose tooth that came out during the cleaning). It's rare to find a vet who is honest, affordable, and truly puts your pet's best interest first. We'll absolutely be bringing Duke here from now on. After seeing her…read morein the morning for an annual check up, she found injection site sarcoma and told us without regards to our feelings that she can fix that by amputation! Then she manipulated the apparent sarcoma with the cat screaming in pain. After getting home, the cat was foaming in the mouth ,eyes dilated and stumbling all over. They told us that the condition should pass within an hour. Within an hour the cat was dead! Unfortunately, pets are considered property in the State of California and not much you can do for bad veterinary practice! My advise: make sure your vet is a compassionate person and has good bedside manners.

In November, 2021, we decided to add another fur baby to our family. We already had two senior rescues but we noticed how fast they were aging. One faster than the other, and we didn't want the younger one to be left alone when we lose the older one. We adopted Leo, an energetic poodle, chihuahua mix and he has brought us immeasurable joy! Barbie genuinely cares about her fosters! She vets adopters very thoroughly! We had a meet and greet in a park to allow all of us to be comfortable with the match. We really appreciate that because we know that when Barbie gives a family the thumbs up, she knows that rescue will be going to a loving, forever home! Leo is the sweetest puppy and all he wants to do is play. That has been challenging for us because our senior dogs don't want to play with a puppy who can be a little too strong and a little too rough for aging dogs. We spend hours a day, playing with Leo, taking him on walks and throwing a ball but it just never feels like enough. He goes to doggie day care once a week to play with other younger dogs and is so happy there. That's when we decided that Leo needs a playmate, a younger pack member who can match his energy. We reached out to Barbie and she matched us with our newest family member, Love, a Chihuhua, Shihtzu mix. Barbie assured us that she wants to play and is fearless! We worried that Leo might be too rough for her tiny size, but let me tell you, she is small but mighty! If he gets a little too rough, she tells him off and remarkably, he listens! He is a lot more gentle on Love than he has ever been with his other fur siblings or us! Since adding Love to our pack, we notice the older dogs hanging around us again, when before Love, they spent a lot of time away from wherever we were with Leo. They watch with amusement as Leo and Love play all day. Sometimes one will jump in and play for a minute and then continue to let them wear eachother out. Animal Rescue Recon is an organization that changes lives! They bring endless joy into the lives of so many! The doctor was great, she worked with us on a plan that would fit our family and wasn't set on one option but gave us different suggestions to fit our life and manage our cats pain long term. The same name as Brenda from 90210. Brenda was one of the loudest cats when placed in a carrier. She absolutely hates it and I knew I needed to get her out of theif as soon as we heard hear, so my daughter and I adopted her. K911 workers were patient with us and allowing my daughter to hold different cats, and share info on them. They are also dedicated to what they do and I was even able to reach out to Jeanie after we had adopted Brenda to ask her some questions. Also, we were able to take her to the K911 clinic to have her seen for cough as soon as we adopted her. I'd highly recommend K911 since they are REALLY good to the cats who come through.

When we walked up, there was only a screen door at the entrance, which made it appear open to the public, so my niece naturally assumed it was okay to walk in and lightly tried to open it. I immediately told her not to, and at the same time the employee also said "no." We then stood there patiently for a couple of minutes while the woman continued moving around without acknowledging us or explaining anything. I finally asked if they were open, and she abruptly yelled, "No, I'm cleaning." The issue was never that she was busy. We would have completely understood if she had simply communicated that respectfully from the beginning. Instead, the interaction felt cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude, especially toward people who came in genuinely interested in adopting. What was also concerning was the smell. Even while standing outside at the screen door, the odor of cat feces and urine was extremely strong and immediately noticeable. It smelled as though the area had not been properly cleaned in quite some time. Overall, we left feeling very unwelcome and disappointed. I hope future visitors and potential adopters are treated with more kindness, professionalism, and care.

They did such a great job helping my dog feel safe and comfortable. But not only that, they also did a great job de-shedding her very compacted fur. Anyone with a double coated dog will tell you that it can become such a hassle to brush out when they blow their coat for the year. Your arm gets tired from all of the brushing! As you can see in the pictures, they took out basically another whole dog volume of fur! I really liked how the trim turned out. It was very even and she looked adorable in her bandana. I want to preface this by saying we have never left our dogs with anyone other than family. We have…read morean extended family, so it has always been easy for us to get dog sitters. That said, our girls, a 7-year-old Golden (Chloe) and a 5-year-old Terrier mix (Ellie), were in dire need of a wash. We decided to bring them to Gofrette Pamper &Play. What I really appreciate is that Serdar, the owner, is great at explaining what needs to be done for each dog. Chloe and Ellie have very different coats, so their cuts & wash needed to be different. He walked us through his plan, and honestly, I trusted him to do whatever he thought would be best for the girls. My goal was to not only look good now, but also to think about coat health as their coats grew out. When we picked them up, I was honestly blown away. We normally wash them ourselves in a custom-built wash station that my husband designed, but I couldn't believe how amazing they looked coming out. Their coats were soft and shiny, which had been so difficult to do at home. They also smelled so clean, and it has been three days, and they still smell fresh. On top of that, the girls were clearly happy. They get a little sassy after a good wash, and I could tell they felt great. I honestly LOVED my experience here and would absolutely recommend them to any pet owner looking for quality care and experience. I trust them fully, and the way the staff interacts with the dogs shows how much they truly love animals. I highly recommend Gofrette Pamper and Play, and we will not be going anywhere else. 10/10 highly recommend.
