Shannon! Whew my girl.. I came in on a VERY VERY busy day with a scare about my pet almost in tears regardless of how hectic the clinic was she made me feel so ease and got me in right away her compassion and attentiveness is one in a million I love this lady!!!! Marissa is such a knowledgeable caring individual you can tell this is her passion.. i hope she gets the recognition she deserves I had a small scare with my pet and she did whatever and whatever to help me, I received several follow up calls even though she didn't have to since she already called me once post visit. Marissa really cares about her patients and the fur parents... I will be buying the whole office lunch thanks to these 2 special ladies! Love them and this team!!! They deserve all praise and raises they can get !!

This place and it's staff has been nothing but awesome since the moment I made an appointment all the way to current visits, ( on my 4th one). You get what you pay for and yes although you paid for the packages, they cannot include every little thing that's included or not and it's part of their job and the business to continue to operate to upsell their products, hence additional fees for customers but additional revenue for the business. Overall I feel safe coming here and so is my dog, ( it's amazing how she never shivers, normal dogs don't like visit to the vet but she's wagging her tail when we are in the clinic. Diana, Adrian and Dr. Querino are awesome- thank you for the great service!!

Instead of focusing on the likely timeline of my dog's issue (such as how a UTI or infection might progress if that's what he has), the visit shifted into a male dog anatomy lesson on Google. I already had some background knowledge--which he didn't check for--but what I needed was guidance on possible health scenarios and what to watch for progressively. When I tried to ask more detailed questions, it felt difficult to keep the conversation on track. During the exam, he had on jeans, socks with Birkenstock-style sandals, with a scrub top. While attire isn't the most important element in delivering top quality care, in a hospital setting open-toed or sandal-style footwear usually violates safety / biosecurity requirements as it increases the risk of animal scratches, exposure to fluids or slipping. If that wasn't enough to feel a bit uncomfortable with this doctor, he also took it upon himself to bring up an old employee discount my partner once had and referred to him as my "boyfriend" without knowing our relationship. I had already clarified at the start of our visit that the discount no longer applied, so his comment felt unnecessary and personal, and I perceived it as biased. Overall, I left with concerns about how communication was handled. I later saw that some reviewers also had negative experiences with Dr. Gonsier's bedside manner, which made me feel my visit wasn't unique. My goal in sharing this is not to call anyone out, but to underline that professionalism and clear communication really matter in a space that is saturated with sub-par experiences. When those pieces are missing, trust and comfort in the care being provided can slip. I am fortunate that money is not an issue in being able to care for my pets, but doing business with a hospital that has someone like Dr. Gonsier on the team doesn't leave me feeling great about a long term relationship.

While my dog's issue was considered an emergency, if something of a higher priority would come in then our wait could be much longer. Totally understandable. We were brought to the back almost immediately where they began doing some necessary tests to get to the bottom of my girls issue. My dog was brought back to me and I was told a critical animal came in and the doctor would have to try to stabilize that pet before she could come talk to me. I appreciated being kept informed. When Dr. Lenz came into the room she apologized for the delay which was nice but not expected at all, I totally understand these things happen. It's just like being in the human ER. We were treated with kindness the whole time. I was never pressured to agree to extra testing. Dr. Lenz told me what was suggested and let me decide. This…read morepast experience is in no way a negative against the staff as far as their customer service, but more of an "educational" review. I sent this email to them on 1/3, and I haven't received a response yet. Even when this incident occurred, the staff was attentive and went above and beyond to try to resolve the situation. I'm posting this for education to anyone who has a cat. This is a copy of my email on 1/3: Good morning, I wanted to personally write instead of posting a review on Yelp, about our experience when we brought Maple in on Sunday, December 28th. Our family has a long history of pets that we have brought in over the years, and we have never had a negative experience in any way, in fact, I have always spoke highly of the entire staff there when recommending to friends and family. I want to start off by staying that our experience on 12/28 was not a negative one with regards to the staff, but I am writing this email to bring something to your attention in hopes of educating staff to prevent this from happening in the future (and yes, it's not a matter of "if" but a matter of "when" when cats are involved!). Maple has been very sick and multiple visits to her regular vet and your emergency, have happened the past month. We brought her to emergency on 12/28 in hopes of finding out what was wrong and finding a solution. Maple is a very nervous cat and doesn't like strangers, and she really did not like having anything shoved up her butt when she has been in a lot of discomfort due to the diarrhea. Maple was examined, then taken to the room for further testing. I wish I would have objected, but I trusted that staff would do their very best with regard to safety. Unfortunately, Maple escaped their hold and tried to find a place to hide, which was inside an open cabinet where there was an opening to the underside of the steel exam table. I'm sure I don't need to state how dangerous this is and could have been if the outcome was different. Cats are very unpredictable creatures, and after we were invited to go back to the room to try to coax her out, I was surprised at the lack of secure spaces for cats. I want to add that this ordeal ended up being just short of 9 hours at. We tried everything to get her out. This was an extremely stressful and upsetting time for my daughter and I and resulted in my being awake for 24 hours. My daughter ended up calling in sick for work since we left the vet around 6am. I was doing my best not to be upset at staff, but I feel like looking back, there is a bit of negligence on their part. My request is that staff is educated, more careful, and that there is some type of plan in place to mitigate any future occurrences. Maple was lucky. We were lucky that she didn't have a serious health condition and that she was healthy enough to be in that hole for that length of time. My ask is that you also find out from the manufacturer if there is a cover for the inside of that exam table, so that in the off-chance staff leaves that door open, that another cat will not have the same experience as Maple did. I look forward to your response.

Take your pets here. It's not a suggestion. I've gone in crying over the worst and left with a smile. They have waitlists and work with you on appt timing. Short wait times. Quick and efficient care. They don't try to upsell. Pricing is far more affordable compared to other vets in the area (with subpar care). I've read the negative reviews and let me combat them by saying ITS STANDARD FOR ANY OFFICE TO HAVE A GRACE PERIOD SO IF THATS NOT ABIDED BY ITS A YOU PROBLEM. They are extremely transparent on prices. Nothing is a surprise or mandatory. They do their best to work with you. A routine dental cleaning for my two dogs turned into a traumatic, expensive nightmare due to sheer…read moreincompetence and a disgusting lack of transparency. They "only" charged $3400 for the cleanings, and failed to ask us if we are OK for them to remove all teeth from what used to be one of our dog's cute overbite. We also had to pay another $1500 for a follow-up emergency visit because they injured the other dog (and failed to tell us about it). Doctor must have a twisted sense of reality, because they told me the dogs did "fantastic" when I was called after the procedure. Dog 1: Permanent Disfigurement without Consent They extracted all six lower incisors from one of my dogs without a single phone call to discuss the necessity or get my consent. They effectively destroyed his signature look and "overbite" forever. We dropped off our cute dog and picked up a "small beast" with only two visible lower canines, all because they couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone. And I will be requesting the x-rays and get a second opinion in the necessity of the extractions, because the other incident described below shattered my confidence in their competence. Dog 2: Injury and Cover-Up While my other dog was under anesthesia, the staff managed to lacerate both of his ears while trimming his face. Let that sink in: they cut a dog that was chemically immobilized and not moving. Even worse, the doctor called me afterward and emphatically stated both dogs did "fantastic," choosing to deliberately hide the injuries. They didn't mention a word of it during the face-to-face pickup, either. Dog 2: Late night emergency follow-up visit We only discovered the injured ears after getting home. When we called, they downplayed the cuts as "no big deal" and admitted they had used skin glue to fix one cut. They didn't even provide an e-collar. A few hours later, my dog was bleeding profusely--blood was literally pooling on the floor. We had to rush him to an emergency vet where we discovered the cuts were so deep they required actual sutures. Because of this clinic's "minor" mistake, my small dog had to be put under anesthesia twice in less than 12 hours. And we had to foot a $1500 emergency bill, after an incident that traumatized our family.
