Usually I have no problem but today was horrible. They cut my puppies ear so bad he needed it repaired by the vet. When we addressed it upon pick up and after the vet, they still denied that they hurt our dog. All we wanted was an apology. But all we got were excuses, poor customer service and denial. I've been a repeat customer at Furry Friends for years and have brought two generations of family pets there. After finding out today that the appointment I had booked 2 1/2 months ago was canceled the day before after scheduling time-off work accordingly with no empathy or regard to the impact it has on me as a client, has completely ruined their reputation in my eyes given it's not the first time such a thing has happened to me. Something similarly happened one other time at this location which I had hoped to chalk up to a one-off situation. They mismanaged their booking times and had to split up two cats which were booked months out to go in on the same day. That wasn't the worst part, as it would have been no problem with some advanced notice.. but, I found this out AFTER I went to pick both up from assumingly getting groomed, only to be advised they only groomed one and had to reschedule another separate day to bring the other back in. After speaking with the manager Suzette today, I had asked if I could bring my dog in-place of the two cats which were scheduled and asked that it be done at a reduced cost due to their mismanagement. She refused to negotiate a fair price which compensated the employee their commission, but reduced the overall cost (the business's profit margin,) for what is an abrupt inconvenience, as I felt that would be more than fair given the cost of pay lost for my taking time off work for what will become now two days after I find and schedule an appointment with a new groomer. Given their repeat client booking mismanagement, lack of empathy to resolve a horrible customer experience situation their business created, and the lack of business tact to even TRY to meet somewhere in the middle, I wouldn't recommend anyone go there. If they don't value their clients, I'm guessing the same probably goes for their employees, given cat groomers are in short order per her own words. I highly recommend anyone looking for a reliable groomer to look elsewhere. -Ryan read more

I've been taking my dog here for the past 4 years. I've never had problems until the past two appointments. First they nicked himby his penis and I had to take him to vet. That was two months ago and I took him on August 7th and He came back with an awful cut. They said they called the owner which they didn't. My fiancée picked him and he they told him that. I wish I could find out where she went... Scrappy gas been coming here for years. He looks great every time. Today, Sierra (hope I spelled her name right) did such a great job. Scrappy looks like a poodle and his ears are adorable!! Our normal pet groomer is on vacation so we reached out to a place nearby. We took our 6lb yorkie there today. After a few times of him crying when we picked him up we started inspecting him. He was cut so short under the arms it was raw and bright red. We will never go there again and I will be calling management in the morning. read more

Furry Friends did a great job grooming our Maltese/Yorkie pup, Lola! We called on Saturday morning at 1130am and they tried to accomodate and make time for us right away. They typically give a two hour window so she went in at 2pm and was done at 345pm. Lola came out groomed so well (with just a couple uneven spots) and had a cute pink bandanna on! It seems they groom all sorts of pups, we saw small ones and even golden doodles and they all looked great! They ask all the right questions before grooming, and I appreciated that because often times her hair gets cut too short. I noticed the business hours are only open until 3pm on Saturday so that was nice that they took their time and did such a great job with Lola. I think they are also closed on Sundays and Mondays. The place has just opened up and it seemed busy, there were at least 4 other dogs there that had been just groomed and one was getting groomed when we brought Lola in. They all seemed to be having fun. I don't know if this perk is just because the facility is new, but it didn't have that gross dog poop/pee smell either which is a real turn off. There are other groomers that just stink (literally). The shampoo they use smells great too! Cost for 6.5 lb Maltese/Yorkie dog: $40. Its not any cheaper than any other place, in fact it may be a bit more. However, its close by and they do a good job so it works! read more

They accommodate early and delayed drop offs and pick ups in emergencies. They are busy so you need to call and schedule early. You can also schedule online. read more

Our Shi -Tzu was overdue for a grooming and our regular groomer was unavailable. We called Furry Friends on a Saturday and they were able to squeeze us in at the last minute. The groomer stayed late - until 5:30 PM on Saturday - to do the grooming. Our dog looked very good afterwards with a nice even "puppy cut" and his nails were all cut and smoothed. We will continue to use Furry Friends for our future dog grooming needs. Update: We took our back a second time and he was cut unevenly. No longer using this place. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect from a dog groomers. It was my first time and I think it was also Buddy's first time as well. Buddy is a schnauzer/poodle mix. When I arrived I was greeted by friendly staff and talked to the lady that would be grooming my dog. She was very informative and friendly. When I picked Buddy up about an hour later he was a very happy, good looking, great smelling dog. The little red bandana they put around his neck was cute. Furry Friends Salon is very spacious, clean, friendly, and professional. It costs the same as the big pet stores but I think you get better service at FFS. read more

I've taken my Goldendoodle and Labradoodle to FFS a few times for grooming. They do a wonderful job with baths, haircuts, brushing, nails, and ears - everything we need. My two guys always leave smelling great, looking great, and wearing a cute bandana. The staff really seems to love dogs and take pride in their work. Furry Friends is really close to where we live, so I was really crossing my fingers it turned out good. I called and they were able to get me in right away. I couldn't be happier. The long haired one (Ella) turned out wonderful. Teddy is short haired so he just needed a nail trim. Both puppies look great and where really happy when I picked them up. I took my chihuahua here for a nail trim and teeth brushing. They were really friendly and prompt. My review, however, is about their integrity. Unfortunately I failed as a pet owner to notice the recent strong smell coming from my dog's breath was from a broken tooth. I was charged for her teeth to be brushed when it wasn't attempted, or the groomer saw the broken tooth and deliberately did not say something. I love my dog more than anything, and it shows the character of the person who handled her for not at least mentioning it and charging me for an incomplete service. read more
