I took my chihuahua here for a nail trim and teeth brushing. They were really friendly and prompt. My review, however, is about their integrity. Unfortunately I failed as a pet owner to notice the recent strong smell coming from my dog's breath was from a broken tooth. I was charged for her teeth to be brushed when it wasn't attempted, or the groomer saw the broken tooth and deliberately did not say something. I love my dog more than anything, and it shows the character of the person who handled her for not at least mentioning it and charging me for an incomplete service. read more

After moving to Gilbert a couple months ago I have been searching for a groomer for my dog. I am pretty picky about groomers only because my dog has a lot of anxiety and seizures as well. I found this groomer on yelp with all good reviews but not a lot of reviews or pictures but I decided to try it. My dog looks amazing! I think this might be one of the best haircuts I have ever seen in 8 years of his life! They also only took about 3 hours which is short compared to some places. When I got there he was on a leash in a bed not in a cage. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5 is because I like groomers that let the clean dogs run free and play together. read more

I booked an appointment online and was not disappointed by the services that were provided as every other time i've gone before. I have a chihuahua poodle mix who is scruffy and scraggly and likes to have very matted fur, so we have to have her groomed quite often. I had only made the appointment for her but I also have two other dogs and I brought them in for a nail clipping which they do all day long for $10 (super cheap in my opinion) I asked if I could get one of the other ones groomed as she was looking just a little scraggly and needed some TLC. They took her in no problem and when I came back 2 hours later to pick them up they were beautiful and wagging their tails and wearing the most adorable little bandanas. I would recommend this to anybody in the area who wants their dog to have the best grooming they will have and come home looking brand new! read more

I'm absolutely delighted by my experience with Furry Friends. I took my spazztastic Australian Shepherd there for a bath and brushing, and they were wonderful with him. He's a little squirrelly, like most herding dogs, and when I picked him up, he looked fantastic, and he was just as wiggly and happy as he always is. I am extremely unhappy with the services provided by Kristina at furry friends. When I went to pick up my dog from his appointment, while waiting in the lobby he kept barking because he was excited to see me. I noticed Kristina snapped at him to stop barking (which is fine, I'm sure listening to dogs bark all day can be tiring), but what concerned me was my dogs response. He immediately coward very low which I have never seen him do, which of course made me feel uncomfortable. I would hate to assume the worst, but when I looked at his haircut it was completely uneven, including his ears which leads me to believe that she was very unhappy grooming him as reflected in his cut. I know grooming can probably be a very tiring job at times, but I trusted my dog in your hands, with the hope that he would be treated with love and care. I will never bring my dog back to this grooming establishment, and I regret very much bringing him here to begin with. read more

My beagle was so dirty after staying with my in laws for a week. I called Furry Friends and asked if they had any same day openings. They fit my dog in and I was blown away with how nice and clean the atmosphere was and how extremely friendly the people were that worked there. My beagle was cleaned beautifully and she smelled so great! I can't believe I was paying other grooming facilities and picking up a dog that smelled like wet dog. This place is wonderful and SO worth the $30 to groom my dog. Five stars all the way, I will be returning monthly. You will not be disappointed. read more

My Shi Tzu Beetlejuice just adores Suzette, the owner. He always goes in and leaves with his tail wagging. They treat him like royalty when he comes in and are very understanding of his anxiety around other dogs. Beetlejuice at six years old is still coming to terms that he is not the only dog in the world. He enjoys the cage free environment and the comfort of his own bed while he waits for my return. Dressed in his farewell bandana and awesome new "do", Beetlejuice's departure is always bittersweet, happy to be with me but sad to leave Suzette. Furry Friends Salon is amazing and quite reasonably priced. We always call in advance to schedule an appointment because everyone is starting to discover our hidden treasure!!! read more

Love the service, the attitude,and the easy scheduling. Tobie always looks great and seems happy. A couple of times, I forgot to ask them to file his nails to round them ( I think they use clippers by default) but they cheerfully smoothed them for me at no additional charge. Finally, it's fun to see the dogs running around and having fun when you come to pick up your pet. Thanks FFS! Disclaimer. FFS sent an email offering $5 off of my next visit if I would write a review, but offered no incentive for a positive review. I have used three other nearby pet grooming salons and this one is clearly the best. I would have gladly given them the same review even if no discount was offered had I thought about it, and if I had a beef with them, I would have given them a negative review and still requested my discount. read more

My dog used to have so much anxiety and fear about going to the groomers and would nip at anyone who tried to groom her, including myself. When I took her to Furry Friends they did a great job at really working with her to try and calm her down. They are extremely patient with anxious dogs and do a great job at grooming! On my dog's first visit they almost spent 4 hours with her and over the past year my dog has become less anxious and her last groom only took 1.5 hours. She is always extremely well groomed to how I like, tear stains are gone, nails filed and she looks as cute as ever! read more

I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs, Shyanne knows our dogs by name, she remembers the little things without being told and most importantly they don't lock your dog up in the back. When you walk into this place you walk into happy tail wagging dogs. read more

This place is the most horrific place I have ever encountered.. First off I take my cat to Petsmart as his normal grooming place every 3-4 months - I decided to try this place because my friend's mom takes her dog there and said they are awesome so I said I will try it! I called to make an appointment and they asked if My cat is up to date on shots and I said yes (Online everywhere for AZ it says he is good if he has had the 3 years shot that is ok) so I assumed that was updated since Petsmart always does him and it has been fine...and made my appointment - The weekend before so FRI-SUN I brought my cat in Thursday my kids let him out of my new house by accident where we just moved Feb 15th! I did not even know if we would be able to find him all weekend I was a WRECK! I ended up finding him Sunday and he was all ratty but seemed OK... the morning of I took him to this place and dropped him off, not even 30 minutes later she called me saying my cat is not declawed.... which i never ever said he was ever declawed they never asked me if he was or not - they never said anything about that and when she called I was at work at my desk and she said he is not declawed and I said ok and .... and she the owner SUZETTE asked me if this was even my cat..... like I somwhoe stole a cat and brought him in I mean are you kidding me??? WHO would ever say that to someone?????? made me very upset when she said he has some fleas which I never sol which he must have received when he got out of our new house for those 2 days! my cat is a Persian and an INSIDE CAT NEVER BEEN OUTSIDE until this one accident! If I knew he had fleas I would have taken care of that issue beforehand! then she asks for the VET # to make sure it is my cat I am guessing?? SO I gave her the # of a clinic I have used before and trying to remember if I have taken him there before ( I also have another cat I have taken there for shots and to be fixed) ..... I get off the phone with her and I called Petsmart to my normal groomer and asked them to call that place and tell them I always get my cat groomed there and he said he would definitely do that! - so an hour later I get another call from her and i pick up and say hello and she says to me screaming in the phone YOUR CAT DOESNT HAVE A RABIES SHOT AND MY VET COULD HAVE GOTTEN BITE PICK UP YOUR CAT NOW! I didn't even have time to speak or anything about how I have his shot records and it is a clinic in CHANDLER (I Forget stuff sometimes and I am a single mom of 2 kids I try to stay on top of stuff but I could not remember off the top of my head I also have a cyst in my brain) So I went to pick up my cat and brought 2 friends with me so they can see how vile this lady really is.... attacking me from the beginning, not even letting me explain a damn thing it is so shocking and so disgusting and come to find out its the OWNER of the STORE!!!!!! I went and picked up my cat when I walked in she said you really should not have done that like i have done something wrong as I am trying to explain everything she is yelling at me saying my cat could have bitten her and they needed 1 year rabies shot which I HAD NO IDEA it was 1 year to be current he has had a 3 year Rabies shot good for 3 years as it states online and that is good with other groomers like Petsmart.... My cat has never bitten anyone and he is so great to groom he loves everyone! So she is just constantly attacking me when I am getting my cat while AGAIN I am trying to explain the situation but she just never lets me! my friends sol the entire incident she was so rude and has NO customer service at ALL..... being so rude I just can't believe how this was handled instead of letting me explain first off she says is this even my cat and then is so rude to me this way!!! on top of it I got my cat and when I got home his neck was BLEEDING! never happened before at PETSMART... My groomer from PETSMART called me and he was going to fax them all the docs of how my cat is always there getting groomed and how good he has been and I told him not to since I already have my cat and the people there are TRASH... I will never be taking my cat here again it is so SHAMEFUL how this all came to be when in the beginning she could have called and been nice and I could have explained from the beginning she was yelling attacking me and saying rude things while I paid a pretty penny almost 100.00 to get my cat groomed here.. it is a DAMN SHAME!!! Since then I still have not seen ANY FLEAS anywhere in my home or on my cat as they said! I have never had a business act like this before in my entire life! it is SICK! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and SUZETTE the owner is the WORST!!! My friend who was in the store when I picked up my cat also reviewed this place below SARAH R and the Manager writes back with all these false claims! We had taken our dog there once before and were treated well and our dog seemed happy there. The second time was a different story. Our dog gets anxious when not at home and was not having a good day at the groomers. My wife come to pick our dog up and saw the groomer yelling at our dog. The groomers excuse was that our dog was being difficult. I don't except that as an excuse. Our dog is our child and if the groomers cannot treat our dog like one of our loved ones. We have found a better groomer down the street. Elite Paw Spa is a much better groomer and our dog loved the play dates there after being groomed. read more

I was so excited to go to this place as it was SO close to my house. I called and was given an estimate over the phone that was average from what i'm used to paying. When I went to pick up my dog they mentioned she had a little accident while grooming and had to be re-bathed, which I apologized for and after hearing the price pretty sure I paid for as it was quite a bit more then what we had previously discussed. Understanding that it probably took them more time than normal I didn't mind paying a higher price. The next time we needed a grooming I called and asked if that was always going to be the price or was it a onetime high price for the extra work and they informed me that that would always be the price. I was really bummed and can't pay the higher price just for the convenience of it being across the street when all the other shops around are right on target with their price....totally bummed, but if you have a small dog (like my friend who I recommended the place to and now goes regularly), i'm sure you'll be pleased here. read more

I took my wire Fox terrier there for grooming. They did an excellent job. Our Woofy has been several times now and he always looks great!

Coming from Canada to Arizona for the winter I needed a groomer for my Standard Poodle. I was worried about going to a new groomer and that my pretty girl would end up getting a funny haircut. I was so impressed at the job Jessica did on my girl. The cut was perfect. She smelt great and her hair felt like silk. I couldn't be more happy and will definitely be a repeat customer. read more
