The Goddard's takes pics of each puppy for the adoptive family and even provide an amazing care package. I first adopted my girl, Charlotte, Dec 2018 and it went so well I adopted her half-brother, Sterling, a year later. Sassafras Frenchies are always available to answer questions and enjoy seeing the pups grow and thrive. Bob and Dina are the finest example of French Bulldog breeders. Truly couldn't recommend them enough... and I'm so blessed to have my Miss Charlotte and Master Sterling.

Very unprofessional employee. Constantly complaining about the schedule, or who quit. Constantly speaking down to me. I told Lexi if she could please stop complaining and being rude because it is not my business, and my mother just died. She complained about how busy they were with someone quitting again, and I asked her to stop being rude. And her way of handling it was to cancel my grooming appointment for today and tomorrow, which is what she was aiming for the whole time.

In addition, there were children in an area of the space set-up with children's toys. One child was crying the entire time I was checking in my dog. This is not a place to bring a nervous dog or a dog who does not like kids as the kids were still there when I returned later in the afternoon. This is a large space and lighting is poor which may explain some of the following problems. When I retrieved my dog, I was told he had ear mites and to use olive oil. Upon taking him to the vet, there were no mites and instead the ears were left dirty. Upon pick-up, it was immediately noticeable that they had only shaved the dog and had not washed him. When I called to set up the appointment, I clarified that they wash the dog before using clippers and was told they do - this was not the case as he was greasy. In addition, his paws were knicked multiple times which is usually indicative of dull clippers (which is why a good groomer washes the dog first). My dog is kept short so there weren't mats or anything that would have prevented him from being washed first. When I scheduled the appointment, the girl took all of my dogs information as well as my grooming preferences. When I dropped off my dog, they asked no questions. I inquired if they needed info from me and they said everything was written from when I set up the appointment. They confirmed to me my desires. However, upon picking up my dog, they had not done the trim as requested. When I asked, a lady told me she forgot to tell the person that did the grooming. They did not offer to make the corrections or apologize. Instead, they suggested I send a picture of what I wanted so it could be shown to the groomer. The lack of concern about customer service was obvious as the implication was that I should be happy with whatever they decided to do. I care too much for my dog to take him to someone who clearly doesn't take pride in their work. This also leads me to question how they treat my dog while in their facility.
