Delicious food, Sunday brunch has a special menu. I had eggs Benedict which was really delicious. Another had chickens and waffle which they really enjoyed. hadn't been to fuse in years ever since i moved out of state. stumbled upon them again tonight strolling through downtown lowell. I can't tell express enough just how much we enjoyed the karaoke tonight. DJ Eric was great and worked the room in such a personable way that everyone was up and dancing and singing. We stopped by here for quick brunch bite. Everything was timely matter. Chill low key vibe. Staff was nice. Food was hot and tasty. The cornflake French toast did not taste like cornflakes(I thought it would) it's just for the crunch and it's delicious! I must say this was one of the best Home fries I've tried in a while. It's mixed in with peppers and onions! Bacon was too crispy for my liking but I'm sure you can ask to be cooked to preference. This is one of my favorite date spots. The menu is pretty seasonal, lots of cozy nooks to chat in both inside and out on the sidewalk, and the food and service have always been excellent, in my experience. I feel like their food is simple but excellently prepared - we have loved their Korean style chicken, their steak dinners, their burgers, their perfectly sized perfection of fish and chips basket. If you don't drink (as I usually don't) they usually have a couple of tasty breezy mocktails to enjoy. Always just a good spot to stop in for a cozy and casual bite made with panache. read more

Went for a drink after work as it was a beautiful evening. We sat outside with our dog got menus straight away then the 2 bar staff decided that their phones were much more interesting so ignored us for 10 minutes. We left the atmosphere is more that of a funeral parlor than a bar. Considering the fries were all over the burger, I went across the street and got a pizza. My friend also ordered a burger with no cheese, got handed a burger with cheese on it twice. Tuna: Same cut as the Tuna BLT, big fresh piece very tasty. Overall too much sweetness between the pecans, dressing and walnuts. Minimal amount of pickled veggies. Mainly lettuce. Besides the tuna very unexciting. Gruyere Tater Tots: Mashed potato stuffed full of cheese. Perfect balance of soft inside and crunchy crispy outside. Two bites per tot, they're so big! Highlight of the meal. Over all giving 4 stars due to the large pieces of quality tuna, and the delish tots knocking it slightly above average. Adorable little, bustling place that used to be an old firehouse. Brick walls, high ceilings and contemporary feel. I ordered the lamb burger rare with sweet potato fries and my husband ordered the fall salad that had warm veggies and amazing homemade dressing. His also had seared tuna on top, you can get whatever you choose for protein on top. The lady behind the bar was fun and pleasant, able to handle the whole dining room by herself without looking crazy like I might if I were running the whole show. The food - one word - outstanding. I was visiting my brother who lives around the corner and was out bouncing around DT Lowell when we realized we should probably get some food in us before things got out of hand. We ordered beers at the bar to start and the bartender didn't seem to excited to have us there. She also had no idea what to recommend for beers. The service was slow and again, our server seemed non-enthusiastic about our presence. My friend ordered the short ribs which were decent but way overpriced for what it was. My brother and I shared a margarita pizza which was actually pretty good. We opted for a second shared app and I was about to order the meatballs when I asked the waiter if I'd be missing out on anything else. He swayed me into ordering the wings. Unfortunately they were downright awful. My brother and I both ate one and then left the rest of them behind. Eating at this restaurant was generally a very good experience. The atmosphere, service, bar and menu were very enjoyable. I ordered the caprese salad with fried zucchini. The zucchini definitely added a nice component to this dish and the tomatoes were AMAZING. The cheese to tomato ratio was not very balanced, though. This is my only complaint. I loved this small local restaurant! Our server Tammy was very attentive, friendly, and quick. She made us all comfortable and always checked in to be sure we didn't need anything else. I was looking forward to a return visit here as I had been before and it was great. However, it didn't turn out so well - we won't be back. Let's start with the positives..... 1) the beer was cold. 2) the chicken wings were good. 3) the chicken wings were comped bc the appetizer order never made it to the kitchen. That's it for the positives .... We both ordered the crunch burgers medium rare. I ordered my French fries crispy with a side of Mayo. Our burgers came medium well, the fries were limp and mushy, and the aioli was just plain yucky - not even the ketchup was good. I love this place! I have probably been about 4 or 5 times at this point and I think it's the ambience of the place that makes me love being there. Fuse is smaller, but is actually located inside an old firehouse, chill vibes inside and a nice bar. My FAVORITE dish is the tuna tacos which they occasionally have as a special. They're sweet potato fries are 9 out of 10 coming from a sweet potato fry freak. My most recent dish I got was the tuna burger which was surprisingly excellent. The toppings were greens, napa slaw and wasabi aioli (not too spicy). The menu is small so I see myself trying a majority of the dishes. And I think that's my only complaint is that the menu is small, but the items that they have, they master. This is an even better place in the summer with seating outside. read more

Nothing exciting. Seating was available inside and outside. No immediate hostess waiting on a Sunday night. Got seated within a couple of minutes though. The environment feels like a pre-date night. Not sure if you want dinner on first date or just drinks kind of place. I wouldn't recommend as a place to impress anyone. Our waitress was quick and prompt. Never needed to ask for anything twice. Remembered our order without writing it down. It was all a bunch of appetizers and nothing too specific. Food was okay, nothing to want to go for seconds. The Caesar salad was kind of bland, I think the olives and anchovies were it's salt replacement but I don't eat that. Fries got soggy really quickly because of the display container. Wings were tangy with spice not bad. Calamari came with fried pickles. I hate pickles so I'm glad it was fried or I would have sent it back for removal. Strange combo. A friend suggested we check out Fuse Bistro, which was not yet on my radar of restaurants downtown. Very glad to have checked it out! I liked the ambiance--nice, but definitely casual. I ordered the steak and frites, and the steak was really delicious. Also sincerely appreciate that they cut up the steak a bit before serving, making it that much easier to eat, haha.
