Veronica was a gift from the…read moreuniverse, she was able to do more for me in one hour than I've gotten from years of personal efforts. Veronica ended up being one of the best pole instructors I've ever experienced. She was so fast to connect to me and my goals and understood instantly my ability and previous experience on the pole and in dance. She then was able to teach the techniques she laid out for me in a way she knew I needed to learn them, and installed the exact concepts and methods she knew I needed for were I wanted to go. Unlike many other experiences with classes and studios, this experience left me feeling like I just walked out with a super charged download of pole skills versus the usual feeling of wasted time and little progress I've felt with other trainings. The studio itself is set up so perfectly too. The whole design and layout of the dance room is really interesting bc it's so warm inviting and elegant yet intimate and professional at the same time. Every little detail of the whole studio is done to perfection. It's hard to say something new about a studio that literally has so many five star reviews to its name, but honestly I would just say that for anyone who wants the hands down best pole dance training of their life needs to set this studio and the incredible Veronica as a priority number one to come and experience for yourself.

It was fun and good…read moreexercise but after taking the four classes, I didn't really feel like I left with new skills. The instructor was very kind and knowledgeable but it's a beginner class. For most of the class she was just showing us different moves to do on the pole and then telling us to just put it all together into our own routine. Which when you're starting from ground zero, with no prior pole knowledge, can be difficult. Something i would have appreciated is learning some kind of routine that's more structured since it was a beginner workshop. It would have given the people in the class something to work toward while in the class, then we could have preformed it at the end and taken a video to show off what we learned. Over all the class was fun and the studio was beautiful i just felt like more structure would have been nice for a beginner level class package.

    I have tried a lot of workouts. Boot camp, pilates, bar, zumba, rowing, spin, step aerobics, dance,…read morerunning, cross fit and power lifting have all been in my repertoire at one point or another. One of the issues that I came across was that eventually I would get bored with those "one size fits all" classes. Additionally, since classes are elective I could come up with 1,000 excuses not to go. I needed someone to count on me to show up. I decided it was time to search for an actual trainer who could help me achieve my goals. I looked all over online for trainers and I knew I wanted three things: 1.) A gym that worked with all body shapes and sizes. There's nothing more confidence shattering to your inner workout goddess than staring at women in what appear to be bras and underwear while you're sweating it out in your Dad's old college basketball shirt and pants. 2.) Trainers that were willing to shake things up and try new methods. 3.) A gym that believed in a holistic approach to training. Mind, body and nutrition needed to all be part of the plan. I met with Carol -- an incredibly enthusiastic and passionate fitness lover -- who owns the gym. Right away she started talking about my goals, interests, types of workouts I enjoy, etc, etc. She took a lot of notes and got me all squared away. I have been training with Veronica for a little over a year. Let me tell you ladies, if you're willing to put in the work, you will see results! I have lost INCHES off my waist, hips and thighs. For the first time in my life I feel fit. Veronica has encouraged me to be strong, try one more rep and even cut out some of the junk food that I love eating! Veronica is willing to mix up the workouts too. We have done everything from pilates to kick boxing to some aerial yoga moves. I never in my life thought I could hang upside down and then use my body weight to propel myself to my toes and yet I did it 15 times! The gym itself is clean and comfortable. You can choose your own music and every trainer there is so friendly and sweet. If you're looking for a place that will value you for your whole self --- the person who loves pull ups yet also finds themselves eating a little queso at midnight -- you should try Goddess Fit. They totally get the human side of fitness and are willing to help you find the best fit for your body and goals.

    BLL offers the Austin community both first class performances and aerial silk classes. Both are…read morefantastic! They usually have one large production each year and classes are consistent throughout. The performances are a one of a kind show. They usually involve aerial silk dancers 50-200' in the air, dancers on harnesses, and sometimes dancers coming down by zip lines! The shows are quite a sight. The classes move at a great pace for both dancers and non dancers alike. No experience needed for beginners (level 1)! The courses are a fantastic way to build upper body strength and learn the art of silks. The instructors will start off with the basics and safety as you learn to "lock" into the silks to perform your first few moves (few feet up at first and moving towards flips and drops after some experience)! Overall, they put your safety and learning first so you can build a foundation to grow from. Try their 6 weeks course or reach out for a fun unique birthday party! My arms were super toned after my first series. Full disclosure, I have a dance background but not everyone did. It was about 50/50! Parking is super easy. There are about 10 spots out front plus an overflow lot that can easily hold 50+ cars.

Having done a few different ones I…read morefound Adrian's to be very unique from the "normal" ones in that the groups are much smaller so you get much more individulized attention which included her paying attention to your form and showing you the best way to do the moves to get the most out of them. This was a refreshing change from a huge group setting just running around and doing the excersizes without any real "training & instruction" involved in it. Adrian's program is definitely a true persoanl trainer setting where you get a lot of individual help and attention. She really works with your fitness level so you are pushing yourself based on your fitness level. She's motivational and keeps you hanging in when you would rather not. We actually looked forward to going. We are planning to sign up for another session as we just weren't doing the same quality workouts on our own without her and can't wait to participate again! I lost 12 lbs and toned up all over when I completed it last time and hope to do the same again. :) Definitely put Cardio Fit at the top of your list if you have been thinking of it.

I've done several different boot camps and trained with numerous trainers and I really love the aspect of this kind of training which allows flexibility of the place that we work out... If the weather is nice we meet at a park, we could do it at my house , or she also has other indoor options that are great as well... The workout is great, regardless of location.
