If I could give this company less than zero stars I would-for the sake of my time…read more Today, I put in a quote request on Yelp for a washer repair to a few well-rated companies and also had yelp get quotes from others as well. First mistake. Almost immediately, my phone rang and I was HURRIEDLY ambush/scheduled immediately for a service tech to come out just two hours later, between 1pm-4pm. (Blaring red flag in hindsight ) Agreed. Fine. I need this washer fixed yesterday. Not an hour later I get a text from their tech, asking for the same info I already submitted in yelp (fine.) and am then told the tech cannot make it out until 5pm-7pm after being offered to choose between that window and the next morning. I immediately felt doubtful when the tech closed out with "Have a good one." (Red Flag #2) "See you later" I replied, trying to convince myself that this wasn't going to be the merry-go-round it most certainly was. ‍ Get ready... By 6:00pm, no update or eta, so I call the number from which the text came. A man answered promising his tech was coming out, but running late-later than 6pm-7pm-on a Tuesday night... Ok... 8:45pm-I am getting my child to bed and called the number again. The same lady that called to schedule me answered. (And it's worth noting-the aggressive nature of this appointment setter was like something I've never seen-especially for the tech to NOT actually even come out...) I recounted the situation to which she responded, "That's frustrating" with all of the sympathy of a robot. Then rushed to tell me she was going to reschedule for the next morning and have them call me to work it out with the office. "No, that won't be necessary. I am no longer requesting your service. You rescheduled me already three times in less than twenty-four hours of dealing with you. ThankYouBye." We just scheduled. This is when a service should at least be on its best behavior, because it will most certainly NOT get better. This is the phase they should be opening my car door, using their Sunday manners. Instead they're no-showing and not texting back. I half expect I'll get a drunk text after midnight along the lines of "WYD." That's how gross this whole experience felt. This is the WORST service I have never gotten in my life. I want my day back, so I could have scheduled with a-what's the word? Oh yeah...REAL business and at least by now, I would have the issue diagnosed and be well on my way to getting overcharged for parts that will be back-ordered for 8 weeks or whatever other circus act files out of that clown car. Because this is not the first bad experience I've had with repair service companies, but it's so close to the absolute worst on the LOOOONG list that they are fist-bumping one another. Stupidest. waste. of. time. ever.‍‍‍

Wow, I have seen some good reviews and bad about this company. I am not sure why they treated me…read morethe way they did. I never use the race card, but I am an elderly Hispanic male living in a very affluent neighbor hood in the Cape. I think maybe he thought I should be working for him not the other way around. American home shield sent them out to repair a stand alone ice maker in the outdoor kitchen. They ordered a part that arrived 3 weeks later, I called to ask where the part was when I returned from visiting my home and family in Colorado, I was told it was not in yet 20 minutes later I was told that the part had just arrived. OK. The tech arrived and installed the part and as he was leaving said you should have ice in 48 hours. Keep in mind it is an ice make so there is no way to check it ASAP, like a refrigerator or dishwasher. I left Florida for a few day when I returned I check and it was pouring out warm water and no Ice. I called Baxter and spoke to the typical rude tech that is more worried about it being cost effective for him then to just come back out, Especially when he was already paid. The tech that originally did the repair was not in the office. I think he did not want to repair the others guys work and not get paid. I don't know or care. Like I said I stunned why this happened .The tech just wanted to blame me and told me that they didn't hook up the water we did. The ice maker had work for 6.6 years . He told me that he needed to know everything that was going on before they would come out because it was not cost effective. Why would you just not come out and check instead of giving me a hard time. Well, that did not go over very well. We engaged in a argument that went nowhere and ended with me telling him that at this point I had enough and if he should up I would smack him in the mouth and hung up. The problem here is AHS did not check on the repair before paying them. The way this man on the phone continued to talk to me, he is lucky we were not face to face. I can't understand why they did me this way and that's why I think it could be racial. So if your 100% white Mr. Baxter will treat you right. That should be there new jingle.
