Someone picked up immediately, I believe her name was Christine. I let her know it's an emergency as the line was flooding into my lawn. Within half an hour, Sam arrived, diagnosed the issue and cut the line off. The busted pipe was on the city's side, and he advised me that while they can go ahead and fix the issue, it would financially be more beneficial for me to call the city and have them repair it and pick up the cost. Sam cut the non-potable water service off which resolved the issue until the city was able to come out and repair it. Despite Champion giving me a notice ahead of time that there is an upcharge since its afterhours, they only charged me about 160$ to come out and do the work as it was quick. Sam was extremely knowledgeable too and works with integrity, and Christine did an amazing job keeping me informed on the status. I hope I have the opportunity to use Champion Plumbing on future work.

I would not recommend hiring Spartan for a plumbing job. I invited Spartan to quote a…read moreseveral-thousand dollar tub to shower conversion project. They were on the high side in cost and I had sent an email asking some questions about the quote. They were answered promptly by a very nice customer service agent, however they still were above their competitors, and so I hired another company. That company didn't work out, and so I was on the hunt again for plumbing companies to do my job. I put Spartan back in the mix of quotes. About that time, the customer service agent emailed me asking if they could answer anything further regarding their quote. I sent a second email with a few more questions and unfortunately did repeat one question from my prior email. However I also gave new information about my setup that would affect the quote and invited them to update their quote. I also wanted to understand why they were charging over $1500 for a second man for 10 hours when none of the other 5 companies did that. I received a call from the plumber. I had originally posted what truthfully ensued during this phone call. However, the company disagreed with what I said happened during the phone call and asked me to change it, which I have done here at their request. The plumber seemed, in my opinion, to have a very brusque tone, and I never got any further answers to my questions, nor was I able to explain the changes to my scenario that led me to need an updated quote. The call left me feeling very disrespected and intimidated. Not being able to get an updated quote, I had to move on from this company, as they seemed, in my opinion, unwilling to take on the job and perfectly willing to pass on several-thousand dollars, simply because I asked too many questions. In my opinion.
