November 19, 2024 The Fuse salesman was knowledgeable and responsive. All was actually fine until the installation. Really how hard is it to charge full list price and another couple grand for a couple hour installation. The scheduler emailed me the wrong pre-install checklist yet insisted he didn't. Arrogant, and we had to review it over the phone. It was easy as there wasn't much not done. The install team told me they had 5 installs that day. How can there be attention to detail with that workload? The installers simply wanted to place everything in the openings regardless of the reveal. I halted them on the built I. Coffee maker and said I'd finish myself. They didn't even put in the 4 screws to hold in the microwave ($179 install just to unbox and slide into the opening). The $6,000 Wolf wall oven is recessed in 1/4" on the left side, but sticks out 1/8" on the right. Refrigerator door panel not installed properly. They placed the cooktop into the opening but didn't install the front panel. They had plenty of automated texts including a follow up on how the install went. I gave a 2 out of 5. Auto response apology and text stating someone would contact me soon. That was a week ago. Detailed email with pictures sent. No reply or call. What a money grab. Plenty of other options to blow $40k on appliances. Update December 19, 2024 Well it has been a month since I left my initial review. I left one here on Yelp and one on Google. Amazing that the Google review has had over 500 views (wonder how many lost sales that equals). What is really amazing is that after the company being non-responsive for a week, I received a phone call from Scott Bennett, Director of Logistics within 20 minutes of the negative review. Super apologetic and could magically be at my house within an hour to fix all my problems. I had flown to FL for a few days just to be there for the install and had left in frustration. I was able to let him in remotely, the MYQ app is awesome! He called me once he was done and let me know he took care of everything. He said he fixed the coffee maker, microwave, and cooktop. I called him out on that as I personally installed them and they were fine. He admitted that he merely looked at them and they were fine. He sent a follow up text asking me to edit my review. I asked him for his email to provide some context of prior miscommunications which I sent him and received no reply. I had told him that I would consider editing my review when I came back to FL to inspect in a few weeks, so this is the edit. Scott did fix the wall oven. He did nothing to refrigerator panel, and it still sits damaged from the prior install team. Upon further review of the dishwasher, the screws used to install it were 1/4" too long and poked through the side of the cabinet. I discovered that when hooking up the reverse osmosis filter where I scratched my arm. I sent him several follow up texts and a phone call to discuss all of which went unanswered. I needed a copy of my invoice to file my warranty information and called the office to get it on 12/12. The office person was very nice and sent it quickly. I asked to speak with the manager, and she told me that she would have the manager call me. A few hours later, a salesperson called to ask what else I needed to buy. Not sure how that was miscommunicated, but I expressed my frustration and the next day, 12/13 I did receive a call from Glenna or Glenda the manager. Again, very nice and very apologetic and she assured me she would get back to me to make it right. I got off the phone expecting nothing and unfortunately, I was right. It has been almost a week and no follow-up. I would not purchase a toaster from this company. My suggestion to anyone having issues with them and no responses is to leave a negative review as it is all they seem to care about.

We had a great experience with Eddie at Fuse at the Oakland Park location. Ordered 6 appliances and all came in a few weeks. We did decide on Fulgar, a new product from Italy. Also LG tower and Sharp draw microwave, our 3rd one. We did ask a lot of questions about the brands and always finding when they were to be available Since we had about 5 weeks needing them. So that made the decision easier to decide which appliance to choose. They were delivered today and team Kevin and Jose installed them and did a great job. I would suggest checking Fuse/ Ft. Lauderdale out. They have a beautiful show room and the staff are very welcoming and great to work with. Now for finishing construction and cleaning theses beauties up and enjoying them!

They seem to lack the knowledge of how to set up proper telephone service, so I'd give them one star for that. Their website is above average, but they don't respond to requested written responses. The automated telephone system sounds good at first, but it's a struggle to connect to live people. They need to hire someone knowledgeable about managing that part of the business. It's not even a one-star rating. On the other hand, their service representative, Angelo, is a five-star experience. He's a level above most service reps because he's dressed in a clean uniform, speaks like a gentleman, and was a pleasure to have in our home. He vsiited twice. He diagnosed the issue, ordered the necessary parts, and then returned and fixed it promptly . He's truly a five-star representative. The four star is a drop from what it should be, because management needs to learn how to manage.

This December (2020--the refrigerator is about a year and a half old), it started to leak and then it stopped cooling in the same day. I called Fortney's and told them the situation. They couldn't even recommend a service provider to help me and offered NO service help whatsoever. They said they also didn't have any other refrigerators they could sell me. They were not even interested in doing business with me--someone who paid a lot for what was supposed to be a decent product from them. I found Kitchen Aid service providers on my own and all of them claim that Kitchen Aid knows that this particular product has a bad compressor, however, I was never notified about this by either Kitchen Aid NOR Fortnoy's. Unacceptable. One service company told me that they couldn't find any compressors for this appliance but if they could, the job would cost $2000. Meanwhile, I called the factory service 5 times in 2 days, as the compressor has a 10-year warranty which is clearly stated in my manual. I finally was able to schedule a certified service provider to come out to look at the refrigerator--for 11 days after it died--however, when I called to see if they'd have the part that seems to be in high demand, they refused to answer me. I asked for a supervisor to call me back, but to this day, no one has. I again reached out to Fortney's, who finally answered me via email and engaged a service company (Flamingo Appliance Service) to come out sooner than I had previously scheduled on my own. The provider came out and claimed that the part isn't under warranty, and when I said it was, just laughed and claimed they couldn't fix it because the part is not available. I have been given no answers in this experience, except for additional headaches. DO NOT GO TO FORTNEY'S.

The Fort Lauderdale location had plenty in stock, so I decided to check it out. I pulled into the large two-level parking garage and found a decent spot. Upon entering, I approached an employee and showed him the picture of the disposable gloves from their website on my phone, asking where I could find them. He quickly stated the the gloves were sold online and then proceeded to tell me which aisle carried disposable gloves. The aisle had a small section of disposable gloves for specific uses. I took a few minutes to weigh my options, then made my choice and headed to checkout. Before the cashier scanned the item, I asked her opinion regarding the use of the gloves for marinating meat. She looked at the gloves and asked if there were specific ones I wanted. I showed her the picture from their website. She used a store device to look up the item and told me it was in stock and where to find it. While thanking the employee for her help, I couldn't help wondering why the previous employee couldn't do the same. There they were, in the aisle with all the grilling items. At checkout, I realized the item was marked down, which was even better. I got what I actually wanted and I'm glad that I went with my gut to ask somebody else who provided exceptional customer service.
