The AT&T representative was also extremely helpful in explaining our options. During the Fourth of July weekend, they had a great deal on the iPhone 16e. I was able to purchase one for my mom for $439 plus tax. We also purchased the two-year protection plan, a phone case, and a screen protector. One helpful thing I learned that I wanted to share with other customers is that if you don't know how to transfer everything from your old phone to your new one and get the new phone set up, it's actually cheaper to purchase the $29.99 Best Buy membership, which is good for one year, than to pay the Geek Squad $49 fee. With the membership, they can transfer everything over for you, set up your new phone, and you also get other discounts and benefits throughout the year. After purchasing the phone, two-year protection plan, one-year Best Buy membership, phone case, screen protector, and paying the taxes, everything came to around $735. I thought that was a great buy, especially compared with what we could have paid going directly through a phone carrier. What impressed me the most was how patient and accommodating everyone was with my mom. She is elderly, and we ended up being there for about 3 1/2 hours while everything was taken care of. They really took the time to help her get the phone she wanted at a good price and make sure everything was set up properly. They even brought her a chair so she could sit down and be comfortable while we waited. I really appreciated that. The store was clean, neatly displayed, and easy to navigate. They also have handicap parking spaces, which was helpful for us. I was very grateful for all the help we received and for how kindly and patiently everyone treated my mom. We left with everything she needed and felt like we got a great deal. I would definitely shop at this Best Buy again and highly recommend this location!

It has become clear that Best Buy's customer support falls off significantly after the sale is finalized. Rather than handling installations directly, they outsource services to third-party contractors--in our case, JB Hunt. The delivery crew simply unboxed the machines on their truck, set them in place, and hooked up the basic water and electrical connections. Calling this a proper installation is generous at best. Between the faulty setup, emerging mechanical issues, and lack of follow-through, we are extremely dissatisfied with both Best Buy and JB Hunt. We expected a seamless end-to-end experience for premium appliances, but instead, we have been left to deal with the fallout of a careless installation.

I made sure to be available during the entire scheduled window, but no technician showed up. After I called to complain, a technician eventually arrived. However, instead of acknowledging the missed appointment or the lack of communication, the company insisted that I was mistaken about the scheduled time, even though the time window was clearly stated in the confirmation email I received. I rearranged my schedule to be available, so having the technician fail to arrive during the confirmed window was extremely inconvenient. The company's refusal to take responsibility made the experience even more frustrating. I understand that unexpected situations can happen, but customers deserve accurate scheduling, timely communication, and professional service. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company and hope they improve their appointment scheduling and customer service.

They couldn't even recommend a service provider to help me and offered NO service help whatsoever. They said they also didn't have any other refrigerators they could sell me. They were not even interested in doing business with me--someone who paid a lot for what was supposed to be a decent product from them. I found Kitchen Aid service providers on my own and all of them claim that Kitchen Aid knows that this particular product has a bad compressor, however, I was never notified about this by either Kitchen Aid NOR Fortnoy's. Unacceptable. One service company told me that they couldn't find any compressors for this appliance but if they could, the job would cost $2000. Meanwhile, I called the factory service 5 times in 2 days, as the compressor has a 10-year warranty which is clearly stated in my manual. I finally was able to schedule a certified service provider to come out to look at the refrigerator--for 11 days after it died--however, when I called to see if they'd have the part that seems to be in high demand, they refused to answer me. I asked for a supervisor to call me back, but to this day, no one has. I again reached out to Fortney's, who finally answered me via email and engaged a service company (Flamingo Appliance Service) to come out sooner than I had previously scheduled on my own. The provider came out and claimed that the part isn't under warranty, and when I said it was, just laughed and claimed they couldn't fix it because the part is not available. He quickly stated the the gloves were sold online and then proceeded to tell me which aisle carried disposable gloves. The aisle had a small section of disposable gloves for specific uses. I took a few minutes to weigh my options, then made my choice and headed to checkout. Before the cashier scanned the item, I asked her opinion regarding the use of the gloves for marinating meat. She looked at the gloves and asked if there were specific ones I wanted. I showed her the picture from their website. She used a store device to look up the item and told me it was in stock and where to find it. While thanking the employee for her help, I couldn't help wondering why the previous employee couldn't do the same. There they were, in the aisle with all the grilling items. At checkout, I realized the item was marked down, which was even better. I got what I actually wanted and I'm glad that I went with my gut to ask somebody else who provided exceptional customer service.
