C1- Chicken Tikka Masala Medium
Ian S.

I can definitely appreciate the trend over the last few years of Pizza Tikka Masala, because what's not to love? Solid combination, and often executed decently enough. And that's what Fusion Bistro does - decent enough strip mall food. A few small tables and a basketball game on the overhead tv all make for a place that is primed for takeout. In my experience over the last several months, service has run the gamut from very friendly to clearly and outwardly frustrated. Placing a call is a roll of the dice, but the average comes out to be right in the middle. The butter naan is SUPER buttery and the samosas are sadly a miss. The tikka masala is more onion-forward, while the butter chicken sauce is standard as far as flavor goes. The problem here is that the protein portions are very light (are you taking Ozempic and worried about having too many leftovers? Don't stress - you'll finish all 8 bites of chicken, no problem) so the value isn't quite there considering the price point. The leftover sauce on its own will make for some tasty nachos, though, if you're feeling extra fusion-y.

12/16/2025: Fusion Bistro--I ordered Lamb Biriyani for lunch. Still, I always choose Indian Cuisine before choosing American Cuisine, i.e., Handels Ice Cream which is next door to Fusion Bistro. Aside, inhaling Lamb Biriyani was deliciously AWESOME: Surely, I will return inhaling Lamb Biriyani because the lunch was so addictive!

Our first time checking out Fusion Bistro. It's conveniently located in the small Sprouts parking lot off of Zinfandel. It's a lively lot with lots of foot traffic but finding parking was a breeze. Music is on and very upbeat. I was singing along, as my kids cringed in em We were promptly greeted when we entered. We went with a family size half and half - Chicken Tikka and Pepperoni for my picky eater. As we waited, we saw a steady stream of folks coming in to grab pick up orders. That's always a good sign. We'd give the pizzas a solid 3.5 out of 5. Good flavor, decent crust. I would definitely try them again and maybe try some of the Indian dishes next time. My kids were apparently starving because they dived right in, hence no whole pizza pic lol.

We had their lemon chicken wings and tikka masala pizza. The lemon chicken had a funny aftertaste and smells oddly similar to the Lysol cleaner lemon scent. However, my partner liked it. I personally like my lemon pepper dry rub but the chicken had an artificial lemon taste to it .. Their pizza dough is not for me, it's more like pizza toppings on bread rather than on a pizza dough? Service was cool but the soda wasn't carbonated enough, pretty flat. And you have to ask them for refills rather than open refills. I didn't try their other food but maybe it's better than the pizza. I've had Indian fusion pizza elsewhere and really enjoyed it, so I don't think it's the fusion concept so it just might be how they make it here.

Beers on beers! Chilled here for a bit during Friday night.

I've been here quite a few times since my last review. I'm 100 percent invested now. I've stopped by for a few times, and I came on a Friday night and ordered their Deal #2 - entree, rice and naan bread. Of course I had to order drinks too! Full bar if anyone is asking!! lol Food portions were enough for two people. Thankfully I had a friend join, and he ordered the pizza and beer deal. Between the two of us we had plenty of food. The naan was lathered in butter, garlic, and what I believe was cilantro. Fresh, large pieces of naan to accompany the meal. The butter chicken (recommended by Janesh?) was flavorful! Chicken was tender and there was plenty of sauce to soak up the rice and naan. The rice could've been better but the naan took the spotlight. I did ask for spicy, though I wish it was spicier. The pizza was butter chicken. It was a "small" and boy was it filling. From my first visit they improved on the sauce factor, and they definitely stepped up on the ingredients / more toppings! Loved it. Had a great convo with the employee as I sat there for 2hrs, chilling. Despite it being quiet in the resto, plenty of people ordering take out. Rancho folks or people visiting. Give this place a try - let's help them stick around for a while!

Yummy Garlic Naan

If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine, look no further. From the first bite to the last, the flavors in my meal were bold, layered, and deeply satisfying. The curry chicken was rich and perfectly balanced with a hint of spice that didn't overpower. The chicken biryani was fragrant and cooked to perfection, with each grain of rice holding onto the subtle aroma of saffron and whole spices. The meat in both entrees was soo tender and delicious. The garlic naan was soft and slightly charred, ideal for scooping up the flavorful gravies. Service was great with tantalizing smell of spices in the air. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience true Indian flavors -- whether you're a spice lover or just looking for something comforting and rich with tradition, this is a great option to satisfy your craving for Indian food!

Butter Chicken Pasta. This was my second bowl. This was awesome and it went fast in my house. 3-22-25

Ambiance: Very inviting, clean, and simple. Service: The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and if you ask they will recommend a dish for you. Just give them a little information on your likes and dislikes. Food: I have been here twice in one weekend. I do not do that for any place. 1st time: Butter Chicken Pasta with Garlic Naan. Amazing! The flavors were divine and delicious. The portions were perfect! Just couldn't resist eating the whole thing at once. 2nd time; Tikki Masala with Garlic Naan. Another wonderful dish! Flavors were awesome and yummy. Perfectly balanced. Comes with Jasmine rice. Both dishes took a little bit of time (approximately 15-20 minutes). But very worth the wait! It was fresh and hot! And guess what? Handel's Ice Cream is right next door! Enjoy this perfect combination! Tell them James B. sent you!

My brother decided he wanted to host a family get together in order to sample what this new establishment had to offer, family style. What a great idea! We were all in. Him and his wifey ordered a whole bunch of different things off the menu to-go and we (9 adults, 6 kids) got to experience a wide selection all in one sitting. Honestly, I didn't even get to try some of the items bc there was just so much to choose from. Among the items that did end up on my plate the standouts were: the Indian style chicken wings, vegetable samosas, and butter chicken over rice (always a fave flavor profile for me). All of these were so flavorful, the only items I ended up having seconds of. I was especially surprised by the samosas bc I haven't had any before that I was impressed by. These were so perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside, plus incredibly soft and smooth on the inside. So, so good. I would love to return here again to sample more dishes and to experience the customer service and ambiance for myself, as I have no feedback in regard to those things at this time. Help support this new local business by visiting them soon! I hope you leave happy :)

Service was friendly and the space was neat! Try the amritsari kulcha, was pretty tasty. The naan and tandoori chicken were good too. We will be back to try the pizza versions of the dishes. Try them out!

Curry Chicken

An excellent experience trying this place. The chicken curry was delicious, with chicken was that deliciously juicy in a curry that had a bright spicy flavor. The medium heat was the right balance of heat, spice, and flavor without being overwhelming. The chicken biryani was great as well - thoroughly spiced without mushy rice. Good amount of chicken came with the biryani as well - and the portion was enough to take some to go. The mango lassi were also super good - deep mango flavor without being cloying sweet.

Chicken Tikka Marsala pizza, very delicious, hearty and has the right amount of spices.

We ordered the Ckicken Tikka Marsala pizza. It was delicious with the right amount of spices. It is a very thick pizza, very filling and very satisfying. The nice young man at the counter also mentioned I could actually get the Chicken Tikka Masala in a calzone, I may have to give that a try next time. This is a great place, we will definitely have to comeback and try their other specialty pizzas in the future.

An Unforgettable Culinary Gem! Some of the Best Indian Food I've Had, Anywhere. Posted by: A Food Lover from Los Angeles Star Rating: 5/5 Let me start by saying I have high standards for Indian food. Coming from Los Angeles, where the dining scene is incredibly diverse and competitive, I was on the hunt for a place that could deliver not just a "good meal," but an authentic and memorable experience. Fusion Bistro not only met that challenge--it completely surpassed it. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was perfect. It's modern and clean, yet with a warm, inviting energy. But the real magic, of course, is on the plate. What Makes It So Special: The name "Fusion Bistro" might make you think it's all about trendy, experimental dishes, but at its heart, this place masters the classics with incredible finesse and depth of flavor. You can tell the chefs use high-quality spices and take their time with each recipe. Must-Try Dishes We Loved: · Butter Chicken: This is the dish that can make or break an Indian restaurant. Theirs was sublime. The gravy was impossibly creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. The chicken was tender and fell apart with a touch of the fork. It's a benchmark dish, and theirs is among the best I've ever tasted. · Garlic Naan: Flaky, soft, blistered to perfection in the tandoor, and generously topped with fresh garlic and herbs. It was the perfect vehicle for scooping up every last bit of sauce. · Lamb Rogan Josh: The lamb was slow-cooked to a beautiful tenderness, and the sauce had a deep, complex spice profile that was aromatic without being overly spicy. Absolutely delicious. · Samosa Chat: A fantastic start to the meal. The crisp samosas were smothered in tangy chutneys, cool yogurt, and savory chickpeas. A burst of textures and flavors in every bite. Final Verdict: I cannot recommend Fusion Bistro highly enough. Whether you're a local or just visiting town, this is a destination-worthy restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the food was, simply put, exceptional. If you're hesitating, don't. My search for incredible Indian food in this area is officially over. I've found my spot, and I'll be telling all my friends about it. A well-deserved five stars

For such an unassuming facade, Fusion is the delectable treat you didn't know you needed. The tandoori chicken is a MUST! It came out sizzling, super flavorful and juicy, and make sure you try the green sauce! The butter chicken was such a surprise! The crust is perfectly crispy, with a bit of thickness, and the butter chicken topping was great, while not being heavy. Just wow. Garlic naan also super fresh and delicious. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

Only tried the Naan breads, all are delicious but the garlic naan is amazing. Anytime in the area we stop by for a quick snack.

If you cannot resolve a problem, or if it is an ongoing issue, you should escalate it to someone with the expertise and authority to address consumer concerns. Do not wait for customers to approach you after the situation has already deteriorated, especially when a flippant response has shifted the tone of the interaction. Another option would have been to table the conversation for a later time or on a different day until more information was available. What began as a discussion about a product concern quickly became focused on a employee instead of the issue itself. The manager appeared to become frustrated, stated to understand the main concern, yet responded with an unnecessarily intense tone and level of defensiveness. There was considerable deflection, repetition, and what felt like half-truths rather than a sincere effort to work toward a mutual solution. The manager should remember that they represent the Root of Happiness brand. We have been patronizing Root of Happiness for at least 10 years, long before the owners expanded to the Roseville, Midtown, and Rocklin locations. Additionally, over the last few weeks, the Justin's Peanut Butter Cups have seemed unusually dry. It may be the result of a bad batch from the vendor or the effects of extreme weather conditions impacting the product's quality.

She walked in, politely said she was there to pick up an order, and when asked whose name it was under, she immediately gave her name. The owner then asked whether it was a phone or online order, but before she even had a chance to answer, he abruptly cut her off and said, "I need to know if it's a phone or online order," in an impatient and rude tone. After she told him it was a phone order, he claimed there was nothing under her name. He then checked the online orders and again insisted there was nothing there, all while continuing to speak to her in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. Believing there had been a mistake, she stepped outside to call me and confirm the order location. While she was on the phone, the owner came outside and told her they had found the order. Instead of apologizing for the confusion, he immediately began lecturing her, saying this was why they needed to know the name on the order. She calmly responded that she had given the name from the very beginning, yet he continued talking down to her instead of simply acknowledging that the mistake was on their end. What made the situation even more upsetting was that there were several customers inside who witnessed the interaction. My wife said they looked visibly uncomfortable and appeared shocked by the way the owner was speaking to her. It was obvious she wasn't the only one who felt his behavior was unnecessarily disrespectful. To make matters worse, there was no apology, no thank you for our business, no offer of napkins or plates, and they even forgot to include the ranch that came with our order. Customer service matters just as much as the food. No customer deserves to be treated with impatience or spoken down to, especially after providing the requested information from the very beginning. There was absolutely no reason for my wife to be treated the way she was. Unfortunately, the food itself was mediocre and certainly not worth enduring that kind of experience. We will not be returning, and I sincerely hope the owner learns that showing customers basic respect is just as important as serving pizza.
