Finally made it to geisthaus! Cool spot with indoor and outdoor seating. You can also bring your own food but sometimes they have food trucks here. Convenient location that is located next to the 24 hour fitness so you can get a pump on before you get Crunk. Oh my god the beers here are freaking delicious! They specialize in German beer so all you hazy IPA people should be worn that there is none here. Started off with the six minute four of Landbier and it had the fluffiest head of foam that I have ever seen. While I was waiting for that beer, I got a small pour of aether which was a nice light 3.3% beer. It was freaking crushable light and crisp definitely can down a 24 pack of those with the boys. Tried every other clear beer here and they were all phenomenal. Had a little sample of the Mexican amber lager but just general those aren't my type of beer so I did not like it. The issue is of this place that there was not that many people and this brewery is so good that there should be lines out the door. Perfect brew with perfect beers for the hot weather in Sacramento. This brewery is definitely worth a 2 Hour Drive to drink.

I guess I forgot to leave a review after coming here many times since their opening this past February. I love this place. I think it's a refreshing break from the IPA, stout and sour heavy featured beers at most other breweries. Their lagers are very flavorful and refreshing. I really liked their Landbier 6 minute pour that's presented with a beautiful foamy head you don't see at other breweries. Their interpretations on hazy, west coast and cold IPAs in lager and pilsner forms are very unique. Service is always excellent whenever I come by myself or with friends and coworkers. They're always in a good mood and welcome you to try beers before committing to a full or small pour. They also have a ton of space inside as well as a spacious outdoor patio. It's been a popular spot for events such as trivia, comedy shows and more. For food, they partnered with an Italian restaurant that recently won best overall and Italian in Sacramento just down the street for an exclusive brewery menu on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Their food is really good, especially their prosciutto wrapped burger and Philly cheesesteak fries. Rotating food trucks appear Friday-Sunday and the brewery is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. My only minor gripe is they aren't closer to me which might be a blessing in disguise since I'd probably gain some pounds if I was within walking or biking distance. I definitely recommend a visit if you're looking for a different type of craft brewery and want a break from the IPAs and sours.

First timer, and happened to go during the 1st anniversary Love at first Lager event. Plenty of parking, a good amount of patrons attending the event, along with a food truck. Walking in, I observed a spacious building with ample seating. Although I purchased multiple layers that day, the one that stood out was one that was slow poured into a mug and heated (Doppelbock) So delicious! The experience and ambiance was great! All the staff was very responsive and friendly. Definitely a place to swing by to enjoy some brews.

It was my first time here. My friend works nearby and wanted to try out Trivia here. They play Triviolgy style trivia which is awesome. The place is so cute and they did a nice remodel. There is a nice outside patio, lit up with string lights in the evening. The inside has an industrial vibe and is really spacious. They don't have food but you can order from the great Italian place next door (Ippolito's) that will deliver to the brewery counter. I tried their 2 lightest beers as it was so hot today, that sounded more refreshing than my usual choice. Both beers were tasty and light but still flavorful. I definitely want to go back and try more. The staff was really nice. The Trivia host was very engaging and trivia was fun. It looks like they host other events like comedy nights and an upcoming Oktoberfest which all sound like fun. Check them out!

My brother was in town and wanted to go out for beers. This was his pick. I almost missed it driving by. I thought there is no way that is a beer place. It is huge inside and out. The bright umbrellas for the outside tables will leed you into the tap room. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can bring your own food or get some nums from a food truck at the place. The beer wasn't for me but that doesn't mean it's not for you!

2/14/2025 - I'm not much of a beer drinker, but it was Valentine's Day, so I asked my husband if he wanted to try the new brew pub. Of course he did! So off we went, and arrived at Geisthaus Brewing Company shortly after their Friday opening time (2:00 pm). We walked in, and were greeted by staff. The taproom is welcoming and comfortable. The menu is simple, 7 beer choices, one of which is a slow pour (takes 6 minutes). I had never heard of a slow pour, so that's what I ordered. The Slow Pour California Pilsner ($7). My husband ordered the Dunkel. Most of the seats at the bar were taken, so we found a cozy little table on the upper level (2-3 steps up) next to a window. The pub had a nice crowd, with some babies and pups in attendance, too. While waiting, I googled "slow pour" beer. "A 'slow pour' beer is characterized by a very thick, dense, and layered head of foam created by pouring the beer slowly, often using a side-pull faucet, which results in a visually impressive presentation and can enhance the beer's flavor by trapping volatile aromas and providing a softer mouthfeel due to the reduced carbonation release; this technique can take several minutes to complete, allowing the foam to settle and build up in layers." Ok, sounds good to me. Can't wait to try the slow pour beer. They don't have food, other than some chips and salsa, but there was a food truck, so we ordered a burger to split. Then my slow pour arrived. The most beautiful glass of beer I have ever seen (see my photo). The google description was spot on. The beer had a very thick head of foam, not a lot of carbonation, and was delicious. While sipping on my slow pour beer, I wondered, what does Geisthaus mean? So I googled that, too. Spirit house, or ghost house. Cool. Now it's time to get off my phone and finish my delicious beer.

Great service and ambiance. It would be great for large groups or meetings. There have regularly been food truck options. The beer is ok but immature. A little on the yeasty side for German styles. This is a mismatch for the space and service, which were great. It will get there though.

So excited that we have a new brewery in the Rosemont area. We really needed this here, and being lovers of craft beer.. we are just so excited to be able to have a good brewery just a few minutes drive near us!

Geisthaus Brewing Company, Sacramento, CA - February 14, 2025 I came in with my wife a little after 2 pm on Friday (Valentine's Day). Be sure to check their hours for other days of the week. The interior is modern and inviting with simple cement finished floors, a nice long bar with a dark ceiling, clean red brick wall behind the bar, and lots of shiny beer glasses surrounding the beer taps. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors, there is an open patio with a couple cornhole games. Juju Burgers food truck was there as well. We ordered beer at the front counter as we came in. They don't do beer flights, but they will give you small tastes. I tried their Helles Pilsner, which was flavorful but a little lighter in body than I was hoping for. I then ordered a 3 oz Dunkle, which was heavier and more flavorful. My wife ordered a pint of the California Pilsner slow pour. It takes about 5 minutes to make that one, so we were given a number and found a nice high top table next to the window. My wife's beer came out shortly thereafter. It had a beautiful dense foam head that almost looked like soft serve ice cream you could lick. The aroma was enticing and the flavor was really good. We ordered a burger from the food truck, and it was very tasty as well. They are dog friendly as long as your pooch is on a leash and well behaved. We brought in our little puppy in a stroller and she loved it. Fun spot to hang out.

I decided to check this place out since it's new and super close by. They had a great beer selection and I really liked the dark beer. The inside was open and spacious and you can see the big brewing tanks through a giant glass window, which was pretty cool. Not something you see every day. The outdoor area was also really nice and chill. I saw they have different food trucks each day which is awesome, and there was a sign for trivia nights. I definitely want to come back and check that out. Overall it's a fun spot to hang out.

Geisthaus seems like a great new addition to the local beer scene! We checked them out for their grand opening and were not disappointed. The space is large, dog-friendly, and very nice with both indoor/outdoor seating and plenty of parking as it shares a lot with Stardust next door. They had a food truck as well and have a calendar on their website for when upcoming trucks are scheduled. They specialize in lagers and despite just opening, had a good selected variety available! I tried several of their beers and they were solid! I will definitely look forward to coming back and trying the rest, and seeing what else they release in the future. Everything from the space itself to the beers and small details like glassware, coasters, menu board, and overall vibe seemed very polished like it was a brewery that had already been well-established for a long time. And despite it being very busy, they did a good job of staying efficient handling the opening day crowd and the line moved fast. We will be back for sure!

Brand new brewery, it seems they specialize in pilsners and lagers. Beautiful and spacious building with a nice patio and roll up doors for the spring and summer. Service was great and beer is pretty solid! Check it out along their neighbor Stardust Emporium.... guaranteed fun time!
