    Ginger delight with tofu

Met my friend for lunch on this nice Saturday at Fusion Japanese in Madison. We were the only ones in there, and service was top notch. I love when you can get lunch specials on Saturday. I ordered the lunch Ginger Delight with tofu and a spring roll. I asked for medium but the cook must be heavy handed, as it was more on the hot hot side. Excellent flavor though and the ginger sauce set off the rice nicely.

I prefer the Flowood location... this one pretty good. The menu has many options, the service is great and the price is right. The food is pretty good. I go here often because it has many vegetarian choices. The Thai spring rolls are consistently delicious and I would recommend. The pad kee mao is my usual order. Last time I got it, the spice and flavor wasn't perfect. This trip I tried the pineapple fried rice and it was tasty. I think I could've used more spice too, so I'll be asking for the spice rack in future visits.

Really can't be delicious Thai food without a crowd! Fusion Madison best Thai Restaurant! Recently took a group of friends there because they were craving something a little different. They are open late and extremely laid-back. You can eat in order beer wine or a cocktail. Food: try the Curries! Everyone of them I have ordered has been sensational. My other favorite dish is the Thai Noodle Soup. Of course this is the perfect soup for a cold rainy day or if you're feeling under the weather, but I order it every chance I get! Other highlights are the Pad Thai

For my first visit to a Thai restaurant, I usually get Pad Thai - to test their waters. You could even say that I judge a Thai restaurant based off of their Pad Thai (not sure why though). Today, I decided to be adventurous and get the Pad Kee Mao for my first Fusion Cuisine experience. While it wasn't bad, per say, it did leave a lot left to be desired. The noodles were plain and very greasy, with close to no seasonings and flavor. When I called in my order, I mentioned that I would prefer the spiciness level to be milder. Well it was definitely mild...probably the mildest you could possibly make it. Just saying. The lunch combination came with an egg roll, which was also alright. It was extremely greasy, which is to be expected. Some of my coworkers rave about Fusion, so I decided to give it a try. If I come back is up for debate.

Fusion is on my normal rotation, and it's good. Take out can be slow at times, service is usually good inside and the folks are friendly.

I grew up going here for family reunions, birthday parties, celebrations, or just dinner. The people have always been very kind and welcoming. There used to be a woman who worked here who was always grumpy and mean, but my mom and I have noticed that now she had started being kind and welcoming like her co-workers. Very fun atmosphere, not very calming if that's what you're looking for, but it's like a family location, full of fun and joy. Why the low rating? They need to clean this place. See the pic below of the back of the hibachi grill. I didn't post a pic of the nasty toilet because it was so disgusting around the bottom and the back floor. The toilet lid looks like Abraham and Sarah had it in the wilderness. The food: the cooked rolls were meh. Shrimp tempura and crunchy shrimp. Not impressed at all. The hibachi was mediocre at best. I had steamed rice and shrimp. Hubby and friend got fried rice. She had shrimp and he had steak. 7 eggs for 3 people having fried rice. Yikes. The shrimp were deveined. Bonus. They looked good but tasted odd. The veggies were ok. Husband said steak was good. Not amazing but good Will we come back? Nope.

She was very efficient, professional and nice. She made my first visit pleasurable. I initially went to try the sushi but their lunch menu looked interesting, so I ordered the wasabi honey shrimp bento box. It came with a choice of miso soup or salad (I got the soup), fried rice and a California roll. This is by far a great bento box selection. The shrimp did not have tails, making them easier to eat. The wasabi honey dipping sauce was also delicious! I don't even like wasabi but it was very good for dipping the shrimp. The rice had a good flavor and despite me not caring for california rolls, this one was pretty good. The soup was basic but with a dash of black pepper, it turned out ok. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and look forward to dining there in the future.

Staff was really friendly and helpful when we had questions. Soon, our order of meats and veggies arrived and the cooking began. We had to stack the containers as we cooked the meat but the server removed them pretty quickly.
