My first time trying Wasabi. It looks like your typical sushi place, with the bright wood walls and tables. I was instantly seated and my server greeted me within a minute. She was very efficient, professional and nice. She made my first visit pleasurable. I initially went to try the sushi but their lunch menu looked interesting, so I ordered the wasabi honey shrimp bento box. It came with a choice of miso soup or salad (I got the soup), fried rice and a California roll. This is by far a great bento box selection. The shrimp did not have tails, making them easier to eat. The wasabi honey dipping sauce was also delicious! I don't even like wasabi but it was very good for dipping the shrimp. The rice had a good flavor and despite me not caring for california rolls, this one was pretty good. The soup was basic but with a dash of black pepper, it turned out ok. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and look forward to dining there in the future. read more

Sashimi lover over here. I'm always trying to find the best place when I travel. Place was close to where I was staying and had great reviews. I ordered the sashimi dinner and asked if I could pick yellowtail, salmon, red snapper and squid and they said yes!! It's not everywhere that let's you do that. It comes with 12 pieces and a full California roll (8 pieces) plus it comes with miso soup and salad all for $25! I would come back for this! This is by far the best sushi in town. I've tried multiple, and we keep coming back here. Our server was outstanding. Very fast and knew all our questions on the menu. Also, not a traditional menu item, but the jalapeño poppers were great!! The menu has something for everyone, even those who aren't sushi fans in your party. I'd love to see this restaurant move to a nicer, more elegant setting, as the ambiance does not do the food justice. Try it!! You will like it. read more

Service was pretty good, not too many people inside, so maybe that's why. The food was good as well. They have a ton of sushi options and hibachi as well. However, the bill can rack up pretty quickly if you're not careful. My friend got the hibachi and a sushi roll and her bill was over $40. However, I got the Chicken Katsu appetizer and a Crunch Roll and my bill was only $15, both of which were very tasty. They had great portions; not too big and not too small. I was more than full. We were seated promptly, our server gave us some good recommendations and all our food came out pretty quickly despite it being pretty busy. I LOVED THE Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen Noodle Soup- I got the Pork. It was SOooo Good! The portion is big and I could've shared but I enjoyed the savory broth, the soft almost melt in your mouth sliced pork and perfectly soft boiled yolk of my egg. I can't wait to come back here to have it again! My husband loved all his sushi and the Phoenix roll without rice was fresh and refreshing. We both liked that roll. The pricing is very reasonable as well. $19.99 for the platter of sushi, $13.95 for my ramen and $9.95 for the rolls. We recommend it for a good and casual eat-in place. read more

This place is fairly new I think but it is AWESOME. It's in a great location , lots of other businesses around it if you want to have a spa day or mani and pedi. The food is phenomenal. The first time I went I tried the chefs special kimchi dish. I've never had kimchi and I really enjoyed it. My boyfriend and I went the VERY next day for lunch and I had the chicken ramen .... which was AMAZING. It's soooo delicious. It is in a business area, but it was not crowded, my daughter and I visited on a Saturday afternoon, March 27th. It's a very cozy spot, nice atmosphere, three booths per side of the restaurant with tables in the center which they kept clear of guests, all guests seemed to be placed in booths. We were sat at the back booth next to the kitchen; the only issue I had with this sitting was the dirty dishes were placed behind me and every time the waitress/waiter place/threw them in the bid it would startle me. With that being said this is a lovely place to dine. We started with a water and Chicken Katsu appetizer. It came to the table crispy, fresh, and hot with a side of lite sweet sauce. Our order was a Sashimi bowl, which we shared; I wish I would have remembered to take a picture because the presentation was beautiful. We were just so ready to eat and we ate everything except the ice lol. We enjoyed the meal with a Ramune and hot sake. We got our menus and had time to figure out what we were ordering before one of the waiters came to even get our drink order. (There was one waiter taking orders for a party of 10 and the other was apparently sitting down for a break.) When the waiter did come for our drink order we ordered everything at the same time. After we were finished and waiting for the check we went up to pay. At the register one of the waiters was arguing quite heatedly with the hostess while we were standing there waiting to pay. After standing there for several minutes the hostess finally rang us up. Overall the food was decent but the staff and service left a lot to be desired. Service was good and restaurant was clean, my only complaint is that portions were way too small. My husband and I both ate the chicken Hibachi and left hungry. I understand trying to cut costs and save money but add a $1 to the price and give customers a normal portion size. Very little rice and veggies on our plates. The utensils were dirty, as well as the glasses & plates, there was random, nasty looking stuff in the food, and most of the food my party received was cold, room-temperature at best. Our waiter went outside and started vaping IN THE MIDDLE OF SERVING OUR PARTY!! The sushi & rice were flavourless and not good. Poor customer service over an order i have placed almost weekly for 3 months via the waiter app. Today for the first time i received a phone call from the restaurant stating the roll i always order could not be made as requested because it would cost $0.50 more to add cream cheese. This has never happened in the last 3 months. The only way to add it would be to drive to Wasabi and pay $0.50. It seems to me Wasabi should fix their waiter options instead of losing a customer over $0.50 when it is not an option to pay on the app. I would have happily paid the extra if it was an option. Chicken fried rice is great, and the Cajun roll is a must if you go here. I recommend eating here. The food is pretty good for the price. However, I don't recommend working here. I worked at wasabi for almost a year. I started as a hostess and the pay is okay, the problem is that the owner couldn't speak English very well. She asked me to order all the beer that we serve and all of the soda as well. I was responsible for going to the nearby liquor store, purchasing the alcohol with money that she gave me, and bring it back even though I was under age. I was also responsible for anything regarding Waitr and DoorDash. I was basically doing a managers job for 8.25 an hour. If I was sick I was told that I had to find someone to cover my shift or show up for work, meaning that if I had the flu I but couldn't find anyone, she would call me and tell me to come in anyways. She'll tell you that the morning shift leaves at 2:30 but you'll probably stay till around 3:00 or 3:30. There are no lunch breaks. The waitress will take a lunch break from 1:30 to 2:30 while you wait any tables that come in. Overall when I started the job, the pay for my position was fine, but as I continued to work my responsibilities grew but my pay didn't. Don't work here unless you want to work like a manager but get paid like a hostess. read more
