We love love love Fusion Dance. Mr. Justin and Mr. Anthony are incredible. What I especially love is that they cultivate a love of dance first, then hone technique. If kids don't love what they're doing it's pretty miserable to motivate them, so, their attitudes and love of kiddos has been critical to our daughter's success. They have 4 studios, all super clean and nice. Pandemic protocol has been flawless. Our now-11-year-old took jazz last year and we're looking to add classes this year with an eye on dance team. I have loved hearing how the kids cheer each other on, play off of each other and create together. My daughter came home from Musical Theater class today gushing about the movements and singing the songs. Mr. Anthony has been there with great advice and guidance for me as a parent, too. What a fabulous new studio this is with 2 large dance rooms, professional and friendly owners/staff. Fusion Dance is in a great location in the heart of Solana Beach and they offer a complete adult program, in addition to the kids classes and private lessons. I went in here a few weeks ago to check it out and I was happily greeted by Anthony, one of the two owners. Anthony showed me around the building and was very informative in regards to the class schedule, costs, private lessons, recitals, competitions, etc. I was also pleased to learn about the "BE" program, which is an adult program for those interested in fitness, yoga, dance and meeting new friends. There's a large window in the lobby which opens to the main/largest dance room, so that you can view the classes. The other owner, Justin was teaching a private lesson when I was there. He also came out and introduced himself to me, after the private lesson was over. I was very impressed with Justin's background as he's danced all over the world, received several awards, has earned top merits for his students group and solo's in competitions and has judged several major competitions. He truly has a passion for dance and wants to help kids, reach their fullest potential. He also has 2 sisters and a Mom who own a studio and/or teach in the dance world as well. She tried classes at both Fusion and another local studio and knew after her very first class at Fusion that this was where she wanted to be.
