There isn't a lot of shade except under the trees and on the amphitheater stage. These are really too far away to keep a good eye on a small child. Bring your sunscreen! There are no benches nearby to sit on, but there are concrete blocks so bring a towel for parents to sit on. It's a public fountain, so we were glad to have our water shoes. The fountain is advertised to have a lot of features and lights, but we didn't see any of that while we were there. The water shoots up out of the ground and doesn't change. That's enough for my preK kid, but might get boring for older ones. We brought some water toys and those were a big hit. While we were there a summer camp or daycare came through with 50 kids who were well-behaved, but they took over the amphitheater area and most of the fountain. We ended up leaving because it was just too crowded.

I also gained extra confidence in my ability to build upon my strength training without hurting my knee . When I came to Christopher, the owner, I was struggling with chronic knee pain from a meniscus injury dating back to 2009. He took the time to assess my movement patterns and developed a personalized program that strengthened my body without aggravating my knee. Within weeks, the pain had subsided--and now, I can move with confidence again. The atmosphere is welcoming and professional, and every session feels purposeful. There's a chance that they may have just overbooked that class for the day since it was on a weekend but I do think they should probably limit it 10 (I think there was about 12-13 people today) but otherwise I'd definitely be back. This was a yoga class where I did movements that I don't usually do in many of my other classes. It's somewhat killed my knees, but at the same time, it was great to try out new things. I'd recommend bringing either a thicker mat or maybe little kneepads if you have crap knees like me!
