We found FusionSounds via Yelp and scheduled a consultation for our wedding. We ended up meeting with Sandeep and he was awesome. He was transparent from the start and was very amenable to making our day the way we wanted it to be. Sandeep also visited the venue with us ahead of planning and he was fantastic with providing suggestions and very helpful insights with respect to up lighting, staging of equipment, etcetera. They provide a form that the couple fills out for the entirety of the wedding, including order of events, who would be applicable, what the MC should say, music of preference, etcetera. We then had a meeting to go over the form and we felt very confident in the DJ and MC service and how they were going to help transition from the various events. On the day of the event, they actually kept to the itinerary and the form that we had filled out together. We also had a bit of a hiccup with the venue very close to the wedding that would have impacted our dance floor timing and location - Sandeep and Pratik were filled in and immediately pivoted strategy to accommodate in case our initial plan fell apart. Seriously amazing DJ and lighting services! I hired Sandeep and his team to take care of all of the lighting and DJ needs for my three wedding events. They were really thorough in getting me pricing and samples of everything from the beginning, especially the decorative lighting I wanted. They have a lot of experience providing lighting and sound arrangements in ballrooms, but I had an additional challenge in that one of my events was at the front yard of my house, and the layout of it is very unique. They came to my house for a consultation and we came up with a concept for how to transform the space for my holud (pre-wedding event). They came the day before to set everything up and make sure it looked right and that we were satisfied, and the final product was more incredible than I could have imagined. Any suggestions/changes we had were met with full cooperation, and I think they even added some lights on their own that weren't part of my package to make it look even better. I highly suggest their custom and stock gobo projections for any/all events. Their music selections are also perfect. They did a great job of gauging the audience and playing music that appealed to everyone when it was time to hit the dance floor (and throughout the night). Sandeep and his team at Fusion Sounds are incredible. Amazing energy, great song selection, and everything included. Let me start from the beginning. They were responsible for keeping the energy up, and they absolutely did that. They made our wedding an INCREDIBLY fun event. We coordinated almost everything remotely, and I asked Sandeep to provide DJ Services, MC Services, and Lighting and other items. He was very reasonable, and ALWAYS available to talk - and extremely responsive. I don't ask for much, but being responsive is key in order to figure things out. He was that and more. On the MC side - he executed flawlessly, and kept our energy absolutely alive. He is extremely, extremely good at what he does. He also was just so much fun and kept everything chill and fun for us throughout. On the DJ side - he worked music perfectly, excellently alternating between Bollywood and Top 40. He can read a crowd extremely well, and kept everyone moving and dancing all night. He provided a mobile baraat which went perfectly, and it was a TON of fun. Also, he provided an amazing dhol player during the baraat which went really well, as well as DURING the reception! Finally, the lighting. I was extremely particular, and he got it done. Everything looked amazing. And, he was on our side - he would tell me that "no, you don't need that many lights to accomplish what you're going for" or "yes, we should do this, but swap out this other gobo instead and you'll be fine". He kept us on point, while pulling off an incredible effect with smoke, blue lights, club lights, gobo, pattern designs - you name it, he had it, and he did it really, really well. I had Jagdeep and Pratik as DJs for my engagement party. I had a great experience with them. I emailed them the list of my songs that I wanted played at my event, and they were pretty receptive about playing requests as well. Although I didn't suggest too many Bhangra songs, they played a few and the crowd liked it, so that was nice. They also played some American songs on request for the American side of my fam. It got a little chaotic with conflicting instructions from different family members- I felt bad about giving the DJs trouble. But, it taught me to have the "playlist" talk with family members AND the DJs beforehand for bigger events like weddings, engagements etc. so there's no confusion. If there's one thing that I would've maybe changed- I wish they played more songs from my playlist(s), but then again, I was too busy to be paying much attention anyway. Either way, it was fun! With their lighting services, they transformed the ballroom at the Richard Nixon Library into a warm and inviting affair, exactly what I was looking for! I was especially impressed with their DJ services. We met 2 weeks prior to my event and they recommended the proper sound and speaker systems to make the event a success. I appreciated how Sandeep and Krishan were very straightforward with their recommendations and didn't try to upsell us any services. We told them we wanted a party and thats exactly what we got!
