Upon arriving to my appointment I literally told her I don't have anything more than 365$ so let's stick to that as she's doing my hair and getting ready to blow dry it she tells me that my total will be 415$ I told her why if you said it wouldn't be more then 365$ she said well you have a lot of hair !!!. So I literally left the salon with my hair all wet. I've never experienced such service in my life. I think that she needs to be more clear about her prices especially when I told her I only had 365$! Not mislead her customers and change the price while almost done with your hair !!! She claimed that the $50 deposit towards my service that she asked for was the extra $50 on top of my 365$ which makes no sense because if you're telling me that you want $50 deposit to book my appointment and then I get there and you want to act dumb and tell me oh no the 50$ is on top of the 365$ it wasn't for the deposit it was extra ! when clearly I have proof that she told me 365$ and then she wants to say oh mija it's because you have a lot of hair . I really wanted to like her too but after her lies I just can't. Once you tell a client a price you have to stick to your price.

All I wanted was a simple chocolate brown color -- a medium mocha brown. Before the appointment, I even asked if she could work with extensions, since I had just bought a new set that cost me $600-$700. Anyone who knows about extensions understands that once they're dyed, you can't really go back, so I trusted her to get the color right. Instead, she bleached my natural hair twice, lifting it to about a level 7, which made no sense since I only wanted chocolate brown. My real hair ended up with three different shades, looking very patchy and uneven. As for my extensions, she dyed them a very dark brown, completely different from the shade I requested. She did try to "fix" things afterward, but the result was basically taking me back to my original color -- almost black/dark brown. That's not what I asked for, and not why I spent all that money. In the end, I left looking pretty much the same as when I walked in, except hundreds of dollars poorer and with extensions that are now ruined. What upsets me most is that if she didn't know what she was doing -- especially with extensions -- she should have been honest and denied my service. A simple, "Hey, I don't know how to do this, you should go somewhere else," would have saved me a lot of money and stress. Instead, I felt like she just played in my hair.
