Future Tires in Holbrook saved us after a major pothole blew out our tire on I-40 eastbound near MP 303 on October 21, 2025, around 1:41 AM. We were stranded for hours in a dangerous spot with heavy semi traffic. Tragically, a motorist checking his own blown tire from maybe the same pothole, was fatally struck by a semi at the same location shortly after (around 2:30 AM) while checking his own tire. Black older SUV. All other details are very graphic. My heart goes out to his family! The team at Future Tires got us back on the road , after a long night, safely with a temporary tire when no one else could help. There is good in this world, folks. I was traveling in my older van, having just got an oil change in Boulder at one of these quick oil change places, with the intention of preparing for my trip. Along the way, while putting 12 hrs on my van, I started having strange shifting, significantly decreased power going up hills, and other symptoms of transmission problems. I stopped and checked my tranny fluid level, and to my dismay it was WAY HIGH, and had bubbles in it. I had just checked it a few weeks before. It was fine then, in the lower region of the cross-hatches. This was very dismaying, this new development, especially while traveling. Future Tire had to pull 2 QUARTS out of my transmission to get it right. Folks, putting 12 hrs on a van with 2 QUARTS over transmission fluid, it is very likely my transmission is already damaged, and very likely that it would have broken down if not corrected. 2 QUARTS is a lot Most shops would have said "minimum one hour labor" and charged me $185. Recognizing the situation, Future Tire did me a solid. Ten minutes of their time, they corrected it, and didn't charge me a dime. I am glad Holbrook has these guys. read more

Hi, my name is John Hawker. We were on our way home to Colorado Springs from Phoenix on I40 when we had a blowout on the rear passenger tire of our car, out in the middle of nowhere going 75 mph. I was able to replace the tire with a temporary donut tire, and we proceeded to the nearest city, Holbrook, going only 50 mph because of the donut tire on a 75 mph highway. There are only two tire shops in Holbrook. One had closed at 2:00 that afternoon, and the other one, Future Tires, closed at 5:00 pm. It was after 5:00 pm when we finally arrived in Holbrook, and our hearts just sank. In desperation, I said a quick prayer and knocked on the door of Future Tire anyway, and a young man, Eric Ramat, came out of the office, unlocked the door, and asked how he could help us. He listened to our dilemma and offered his services, even though he had already closed up shop for the day. He checked all our other tires for any issues that might cause problems, and he discovered a sidewall that was defective from the manufacturer that had a bubble bulging out on the driver side front tire. He checked the size and brand of the tires on our car to make sure that he had replacements in stock, and as it turned out, he actually had four on hand. We made an appointment for him to take care of our tires for the first thing the next morning. He recommended a wonderful hotel which more than met our needs, and he also recommended a great restaurant. He was so courteous, patient, friendly, and very sympathetic to our plight. We can't thank you enough for employing such a knowledgeable and service oriented young man. He took our very bad day and completely turned it around. Excellent service! The fender cover above the passenger side came loose as we were driving from CA to TN. It started rubbing on the tire causing lots of noise! I was hoping to get it taken off and I'd replace it once we got to Tennessee. We stopped by Future Auto and they started working on it within 20 mins. Driving cross country on I-40 on RV tires that had sat too long in storage. After the second blowout, we called these guys to get a quote. Not only were they extremely reasonably priced, far better than our stop in Williams, but also got us in immediately upon arrival. Brian, the manager, said, "I don't care if you come in one time for a blowout or 100 times, you'll get the same price." We were traveling across the state when our tire started making a jackhammer sound after hitting a pothole. We were very worried we'd bent the wheel or worse. We picked this place because it was close to our hotel and I am so glad we ended up here. Brian is such a nice guy! While we were waiting we talked to a guy there who has been a customer for over 25 years. They were quite busy and we arrived an hour before closing time, but they took care of everyone quickly- including us! I am forever thankful for the people at Future Tire. When the drain plug fell out of my car's oil pan going 80 on the highway outside of Holbrook, I was towed to Future Tire. Our car's low tire pressure alert came on and we found a nail in our tire at the Petrified forest. A receptionist at the best western suggested future tire so we went in. The owner, Brian, was a cool guy and chatted with my husband. They found the nail, which didn't actually puncture the tire and filled all of our tires with air. No charge.
