Both occurring within a week of each other but refused to reverse the charge. I could not do the types of physical activities I enjoyed and it hurt by the end of the work day. I had weekly scheduled sessions with both Hersh and Andrea with each ti seeing improvement. My condition had been going on for several months before meeting with Dave Townsend. My physician had latched on to the idea it was mild arthritis in my hip. That may have been a factor but it was not the principal issue. After a few sessions Dave helped me isolate the problem to fasciitis in my IT band, which was causing my quadricep muscles to cramp, hence the pain. One pro tip for new patients: make sure the receptionist is at the desk when you arrive, or pay before you start your warmup, otherwise one of the interns (I honestly can't remember his name -1 star) might pull you off the equipment in front of everyone and treat you like a walk-out. And I learned that he is a one man show. In the good way. A very well equipped PT studio with everything that you need and no receptionist. One person in the space at a time. It was great. Very professional. Jim was always ready for me on time and worked hard on my knee and overall therapy plan/ regime. Even with my truncated and difficult timing, we made huge progress and I feel better that months prior to my surgery. He communicates clearly, gives good online homework and clearly knew exactly what I needed and will need both anatomically and in terms of my time and future physical demands.
